Timbers Restaurant and Lounge is a cool little diner tucked down on Main Street in Toledo. It is a total time warp of a place with a vintage vibe, cozy red leather booths, and a friendly, helpful staff that feels straight out of the 1950s. The owners and staff are some of the nicest, most friendly folks. The food is consistently fresh, delicious, and out of this world, with healthy portions of good ol' comfort food. Favorites include the Timbers Burger, the country fried steak which is crispy with tasty gravy, and a breakfast sandwich piled high on an English muffin. It is a proper diner, so nothing is fancy, just consistent, great food. Down a narrow stairway, there is a separate lounge with a full bar, pool table, and TVs, offering a different ambiance. The restaurant is kid-friendly and provides yummy vegetarian options like salads. It is a really nice place that earns strong community support and recognition.
