What a great find! We were running errands and just walked in. So friendly you'd have thought you walked into a Cheers bar. Lots of variety in beverages and exceptional customer service by the baseball fan bartender whose name escapes me. Will definitely visit again.

Jamie was a great bartender, waitress and host! She was the only person working out front and she didn’t skip a beat. I expected a long wait, but she kept moving and taking care of everybody all the while exchanging a few words of conversation. There was a good crowd of people with very few empty seats, everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, and I think a lot of them knew each other. There’s a couple large screen TVs and some video games. Good selection of beer and a great food menu, I had a difficult time because there were so many things I wanted to try. We had the chicken gizzards as an appetizer and I got the turkey Reuben with tots and my friend got the Dirty Boat.If you’re in Troutdale, stop in.

There was no more room inside. The bartender told us there seats outside in the back. But he won’t serve us food outside you need come get it.We found some seats inside close to the lottery machines. The food was delicious. The service was okay. The seats were uncomfortable and we were all squished together. The music was loud like club. I mean we all agreed we wouldn’t come back. It didn’t feel like the right vibe.

Food is fine. Service is great. If you’re looking for a cozy, one on one this ain’t the place. it’s more of a bar “let’s mix it up !” type of vibe.The burger was good. Not great. There was a weird flavor in there I couldn’t pull out. Might have been the patty being a less than premium blend of meats.Cuban is good. But it’s is not a “Cuban” if you’ve had real cuban sandwiches before. It’s more of a meaty pork sandwhich inspired by a cuban sandwhich and definitely not made by a Cuban. For it to be a real cuban it would need different bread, different seasoning on the pork and be seared on a plancha. The flavors were good. I found them tiring and was sick of the sandwich by bite 4. I enjoyed it for leftovers more the next day. This is one of those sandwiches that I could see many many people enjoying. So don’t let me steer you away from it.The seating situation is kind of confounding. The outdoor tables are custom made and way too high and the tables are too far from the benches. It’s almost like who ever made them never actually sat at dinner table before and didn’t know people want to crumbs to fall on their plate and not their lap.There’s one table for a couple that’s comfortable. The others are in the way or in uncomfortable places or uncomfortable. One of them was so comically high in terms of seat to table ratio that I am not joking when I say I am 6 feet tall and the top of the table was above my nipple when I sat down. I thought for a moment it was an art project or a joke.To sum up. Food is good. Service is good. Tables are bad for 2 people. Great for a big group. If someone drags you here you’ll be fine but I wouldn’t go for a date.

Came to watch the Thursday Night Game & have the Taco Special ! This was R 4th Time here & Noticed the Local Gambler's leave there belongings at the Bar & the Seats Remain Empty the Intire Time Durring the Game! That Needs to Be Illuminated so other Paytrons can enjoy the Bar Attmosphere!!The Game was on the Smallest TV Out of All the Big Screens & On the Back wall witchhas the Worst Veing Postion! If your into Sports it's Not a Good Place to Watch the Game ! The Tacos ? were Overstuffed with Dry Cabbage and Little Meat, meat flavors were good, We've Never had Any Tacos Served like this before! They'd B Better off using lettuce & Cilantro! Maybe Coleslaw with the Fish Tacos. Overall it's a Cool Place they just need to make a Few adjustments & they would have a Better Turnout.
Good food and a friendly staff combined with ample portions and reasonable prices makes Bandits wort a visit when in Troutdale.

We went for dinner and the place was packed so we went outside and sat where is it was quiet. It was a very nice evening. Two of us had the pulled pork dirty rice boat - it was really good. The french fries were wonderful. One person had the smoked turkey reuben and said it was the best he had ever eaten. One person had the pulled pork BBQ on brioche bun and she said it was really good. It looked delicious. If we ever get back that way that is what I am ordering next. The service was very good, our waitress was friendly and welcomed us "first timers". She suggested a beer for me and it hit the spot. I would go back again!
