Come on BR!! You can do better than this! I waited 15 minutes for a cappuccino. Epic failure on multiple levels. I would highly recommend Learning something from Dutch

Why is it that when I order my drink, I am asked 3 times what i ordered even after they've confirmed it. Yes this is annoying, but my issue is I get that same drink everyday, there's no reason it should taste completely different from one person to the other. Bad consistency, or lack of caring I'm not sure. I don't want to take away from the good staff here, cause there is good people. But when your having the same girl whose always asking you what you ordered like there's multiple drinks she trying to figure out and your the only person there... and this is 50% of the time.. all things combined leaves for bad experiences.

Best coffee stand around!

Tried to get coffee at 3:00pm. Pulled in behind one car. The driver & the barista chatted for about 5 minutes then barista went to make a drink. When she returned they chatted for a few more minutes til I tooted my horn. After a minute or so the car left. I told the barista it’s bad form to sit & chat with a customer when another one is waiting. She said “well it was my assistant manager”. So not only did the barista think she did nothing wrong but what’s up with an assistant manager encouraging this kind of behavior. Never did get my coffee.

I’ve been getting black rock for nearly a decade now. Great, creamy tasting coffee. My go to locations are Happy Valley on Sunnyside and both 82nd locations, which have great service, may I add. Today, I decided to go by the Troutdale location since I was in the area.. coffee was good but halfway through, I noticed something strange.. Upon opening the cap, my cup of coffee had a dead fly floating in it ? that I was just drinking all along! ? this prompts me to believe that potentially the carton of milk has been standing out, without the lid and the fly must have fallen in.. anyhow, quite a disgusting after taste as I sit here writing this.

Our drinks were good. Service was a little slow because you couldn't place your order at the reader board . And they don't sell lotus drinks.

Great folks, and Black Rock is the GOAT of coffee chains for me. Hits every time, and the consistency is always there.

I arrived at 5 am waited 25 minutes and no one ever came to the window. Drove around a couple of times and no one was there. This is sad. I was visiting and was in the area so I stopped by. My coworkers had visited and said it was amazing however it wasn’t for me. I was highly disappointed. No one was there and they were supposed to be open. Here it is 30 minutes out and I’m still waiting and wishing for someone to come. Cars are now lining up behind me and still no one is here. So I’m just too invested now I had to wait more so I pull over and wait and then 35 minutes later I see a lady running to open up the coffee shop. I’m highly disappointed in this place. I had high hopes & yes I still went and had the coffee because why not I already waited 35 minutes so I’m too far in not to try it. The coffee was good though.

I was really excited to see this location as I rarely come out this way - it’s perfect for a stop when doing a Gorge day trip. No one else was in line, which was nice. The barista gave me plenty of options for breakfast, and the lemon bread was delicious. The only issue I had was that I ordered an oat milk blackout, and this is the third time I’ve been given an iced latte? I don’t like asking for a drink to be remade, so I just took it. Since it’s happened before, I always try to speak a little slower so I don’t jumble my words, but I just don’t get the mixup.
