The Bite in Tumalo is a rolling block party. Picture a ring of food trucks, a tap wall in the middle, and plenty of shade so your fries don’t melt before you do. Kids toss beanbags, parents toast cold pints, everyone eats exactly what they want. Good food, good people, good drinks, no fuss. Basically summer camp for grown-ups—with better snacks.

We stopped here for lunch and really liked the lively atmosphere. The place has a cute seating area with music and a variety of food trucks to choose from. We ordered a mix of tacos — Shrimp, Thai Chicken, Austin BBQ, and Poblano Chicken. Our favorites were definitely the Shrimp and Austin BBQ tacos. There was a bit of a line and the food took some time to be ready, but overall, it was a nice experience.

Personally, I am so glad downtown Tumalo was gentrified because in the late 1990s it looked like absolute methy garbage. A much needed and appreciated facelift!

Great staff and they are always kind and professional.
I am staying in Bend for the week and have ate here 3 times😲. I love the outdoor atmosphere the food trucks have great food. I highly recommend a stop here. We had pizza, Italian sandwiches and sushi (three different trips) then one hot afternoon we had the shaved ice. We made it on a music night and stayed and enjoyed another glass of beer and music.
