The hotel is one of my favorite building as is the beautiful Methodist church where I went every Sunday. As is hot lake. All incrediable ❣️❣️
Charlie and his precious dog Rosie were the best host that we could have asked for. Charlie is not only friendly, but he's incredibly funny. Rosie came into our room this morning just to make sure that we remember to take everything home with us. This is a very historic hotel, but it is not haunted

My wife and I stayed here and as middle point between la grande and baker city. Price point was great. Staff was kind, dogs were sweet, and so much history in this place. As noted it’s NOT the Ritz, and that’s okay. The room was clean, the bed was a bit worn but comfy enough, Although noisy. The town is charming and we were able to unwind and relax. Will be back.
