A PROPER small town diner! JC makes some absolutely BOMB milkshakes! No skimping on ANYTHING! got the Bleu pig burger with the bison meat. Very first bite just EXPLODED in my mouth! I'd post pictures, but NOTHING lasted long enough to even think about stopping! Staff is awesome all around, cook is Chance, we've been laughing for about 30 minutes straight talking to this dude with cut off sleeves and real home style cooking! I don't come up this way often, but it's unlikely I'll be eating anywhere else when I do.

If you arrive in Vale OR & aren't sure where to eat, we highly recommend Mal's Diner, old style diner atmosphere & delicious cheeseburgers with crispy bacon & partially melted cheese. We were lucky to discover this very fun restaurant with awesome country music & truly wonderful burgers & crispy French fries. Awesome staff Emma & Michaela. Emma is the best friendly & patient server, full of joy for her big family & customers.

Awesome food at wonderful prices. We got 4 meals and 2 appetizers for 60$. They were absolutely slammed helping firefighters and still managed to hammer out our order and it was DELICUOUS.

50's style diner with friendly staff & a terrific menu. We stopped for lunch while motorcycle touring thru the area. Very enjoyable. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended... including their homemade ice cream sandwiches @ $3 (June 2024).
