Salty Dawg Bar & Grill Reviews
Spendy but good food and atmosphere
4/30/2025, We had the clam chowder and a side of fries. Waaay too salty for me as well for the fries. The tables have salt on them. Take the salt shaker away from the chef and I will use the one on the table. My heart doc would have a fit. But I guess it is called Salty Dawg.
Totally over priced for standard Oregon bar food. Not to mention they charge a “to go” fee plus 4% on visa purchases. Prices have gone up over 30% in the last year. Last time there, they charged for extra cocktail sauce but never gave it. Needless to say, I’ll never go back! Too bad, the options in town are already really limited.

The Salty Dawg Bar & Grill is a cozy small-town establishment that offers a wide variety of dishes. The service is great, and the Dungeness crab sandwich melt and Dungeness Eggs Benedict are standout items on the menu. While the fries and broasted chicken received mixed reviews, the overall consensus is that this is the best place to eat in town, with a delightful atmosphere and a great selection of drinks and seafood options. The restaurant is located by the water, offering beautiful views, and has free parking within the small marina. Customers have praised the calamari, seafood basket, and fries, though some have found the clam chowder and fries to be too salty. The dining tables feature a cool art project with starfish and glitters, adding to the unique ambiance.
