Great location by the water!!! Absolutely recommended! Calamari is top notch, tender meat, fresh and full of flavor. We enjoyed the seafood basket served with fries, tartar sauce, coleslaw, garlic bread and cocktail sauce. Chowder is a little bit on a thicker side but overall, we had a pleasant dining experience. The dining table is so cool with nice art project with starfish and glitters. The views are beautiful, there’s also free parking within the small marina. Service was prompt and our Server showed us a little tour around as we’re on our Oregon Coast road trip.

Went crabbing, did excellent with clean full crab. Then went to eat and have a beer. Wonderfull people in Waldport coming here for years.. fries are off the chart and the beer is cold!

Celeste is a hoot! What a friendly server who makes delicious drinks and tells great jokes. This was our first time at the Salty Dawg and we would come back in a heartbeat. The clam chowder with crab in a sourdough bowl, ribs, fried clams and shrimp were outstanding. Thanks for the great experience!

It was a good place for some pub food. I enjoyed the food and they are dog friendly out on the patio. The tables were a bit small for a 275 lb man but I wasn't uncomfortable. The burger was excellent. Gracie loved her burger as well. You have to order inside. Servers do not come out to take your order. But, I would go back again.

Great little bay front restaurant and bar. We ordered the Rueben with fries and the Seafood Basket (shrimp & calamari) with fries and cole slaw. Both were very tasty and fries were some of the hottest & crispiest we’ve had in ages. Bring cash or expect a 3.99% fee for using a cc.

We just had breakfast (biscuits & gravy and eggs Benedict) at this older bar/diner with a nice view of the bay. The server (whose name we didn’t catch & she was doing it all including bartending) was so friendly and efficient. The food was great. Plus we marked on the map where we were from. The person busing the tables was friendly too!
