4/30/2025, We had the clam chowder and a side of fries. Waaay too salty for me as well for the fries. The tables have salt on them. Take the salt shaker away from the chef and I will use the one on the table. My heart doc would have a fit. But I guess it is called Salty Dawg.
Great location by the water!!! Absolutely recommended! Calamari is top notch, tender meat, fresh and full of flavor. We enjoyed the seafood basket served with fries, tartar sauce, coleslaw, garlic bread and cocktail sauce. Chowder is a little bit on a thicker side but overall, we had a pleasant dining experience. Went crabbing, did excellent with clean full crab. Then went to eat and have a beer. Wonderfull people in Waldport coming here for years.. fries are off the chart and the beer is cold!
