Battery 245 is a welcome new addition with a nice building and a comfy, busy interior. The menu offers solid choices including a marvelous New York Steak meal from a local butcher, excellent fish and chips, tasty tuna fish and chips, and an awesome tostada. The smash burgers are considered the best in the county, and the Wedge burger is also excellent. Other notable items are the shrimp Po’Boy, oyster shooters, seafood chowder, crispy fries, and a very tasty house IPA beer. They also do brunch. Portions are generous, and the food features grilled fresh veggies with no frozen bagged food used. Service is generally good and quick, with friendly staff. The restaurant is a comfy place to sit and chat, though some note the space can be echoey. It is expected to be a popular choice.
