Wow this place is delicious and the service was so friendly and attentive! We were in the area to celebrate my husbands birthday and my daughter did a search for Mexican restaurants and we decided to try this place out, and we are so happy we did! We are from California and have struggled to find good Mexican food out here in Oregon. There was 6 of us and a baby and so we ordered a lot of food and it was all brought out at the same time so we enjoyed our meal all together. The appetizers were delicious as well!!

The poblano cheese and bean dip was AMAZING!! Highly recommend!
My husband tried several tacos and they were all fresh and delicious!
My father in law got the chicken salad and it was huge! Looked very fresh and he said it was the best salad he’s had in a while!
3 of us all got the birria tacos and omg they were so good! They melt in your mouth and the flavor is so on point!
My brother in law got a meat burrito and it was so big he only ate half! He’s a big eater too! He said it was delicious and tasted so fresh.
The owner came and talked to us and was so friendly! Our server was great too and never made us feel rushed or anything. They even let us back in after closing so we could change the baby’s diaper.
We will definitely be back and are really glad we found this place! Highly recommend!!

Great food. Lacking in vegetarian options though, especially the tacos. Went back and had terrible service. Took 1 hour for a drink and guacamole. When we did finally get the drinks they were put on the table haphazardly and spilled everywhere.

The food was amazing, our server Mel did an amazing job, was friendly, attentive, very quick without skipping a beat at a very busy time while also seemingly providing the same exceptional service to what seemed like all the guests since it was at the hight of the travel season and service time all while making it seem so easy. The food was amazing, I found myself admiring the decor specifically the lighting and fixtures which seemed to make any noise and commotion fade into the background to the extent others were no longer noticeable. That is hard to accomplish yet they pulled it off flawlessly.

Stopped for a quick bite to eat on a road trip and it didn't disappoint. We made it in time for happy hour which allowed us to get some great prices on the poblano cheese and bean dip and a skinny burrito. The braised beef in the burrito was excellent and shreddy. The avocado sauce was a bit smoky and full of flavor. I highly recommend stopping in.

Horribly noisy, they made us wait for almost two hours, then wait staff complained that we could not finish before closing time. Horrendous, not the wait staff’s fault (I hope and believe) but a terrible experience nevertheless.

Great place on Highway 26 if you're heading up near Welches. Definitely recommend the burritos, and the margaritas are excellent. The chips and salsa flight were a great start!

Wow! What a great experience! When we are traveling with our family of young kids it’s not easy to find a good place to eat that accepts kids and has good food. This place had all of that and more. The food was amazing, great service and quick order times.The house margarita was not just a “house margarita,” tasted so much better!! As a restaurant owner ourselves we are picky and this checked all of our boxes!!! If you don’t go while you are in town you will be missing out!!

This was our first time dining at Chicali Cantina. We are visiting from Texas and we know and love our Mexican food and are pretty picky. The chicken street tacos were amazing. Everyone in our party got street tacos except my Momma, who got enchiladas. Everyone raved about their choices. They do not chince on their meat or the fixins. Loved the chicken. Friendly staff and awesome atmosphere. We even got to take a pic with their life size Chancla. So happy we didn’t disrupt anyone too bad to have the wrath of the size 79 Chancla. Thank you for the great experience. Merry Christmas 🎄
