I found this pub by googling darts in West Lynn. They have a nice dart board and a smaller sized shuffleboard, both tucked in the back in their own rooms. There's no charge to play. They have a decent selection of beers on tap and a non-alcoholic CBD option. I didn't notice the food or other drinks, but they had a few bottles of alcohol on display, so they do some cocktails too. We got gyros from the place next door. It's great that they allow you to bring food in! The owners weren't there that night, but Katie was managing the place by herself and she was very attentive and friendly. This is a great place to meet some locals at the bar, play some games, or watch some sports.

I've gotta say, I was quite appalled at the owner's aggressive demeanor towards his customers. I was traveling to meet an old friend and we stopped at this little pub due to the restaurant/bar next door being overly crowded. There weren't many people there, so even though the snack/food menu was to be desired, we were able to get our drinks in a timely manner. However, we quickly got disturbed as we couldn't help overhearing the bartender speaking gruffly to a few customers. It appeared he was answering a question regarding their tap menu, and he was raising his voice and actually cursing at the poor customers who appeared calm and confused by his behavior. The bartender (who we later found out was the owner!) appeared in a foul mood the entire time we were there, and only seemed friendly to his "regulars". It is clear that this man doesn't like his job, and it is no wonder the other bar was so crowded and this pub was rather empty-this guy needs an attitude adjustment!

In an area that often reeks of Massengil and Summers Eve this is a great spot to just hang out with locals and have a good time. I've had the opportunity to have beverages at VFWs and dive bars in small dots on the map and fine establishments in Manhattan, but the Salty Rhino is my favorite place to have a drink. It's a great joint that cycles (and cleans) their taps regularly to provide a great selection of local beers. If you need a White Claw, some wine, or a cocktail; they've got those too but most of the tap list is focused within 50 miles of this great beer brewing city!Bonus points for Trivia Night or any time that John is helming the bar. Good conversations and fun times are guaranteed to be had.

Went in by chance while traveling. Excellent place and excellent staff. They saw my elderly mother struggling to get on to the stool and grabbed a shorter table and chair for us to sit at. So very kind, thank you! Food is amazing as well!

A bit over rated. Beer selection is just okay. The West Linn Punn a few paces away had a better food and beer selection. The place prefers regulars, and the space doesn't use the whole space correctly. They are still trying to figure out still what it wants to be.
