The food is great & the coffee is purty dang good! It's so much better than most places I've eaten. And the bakery? Their polenta bread is top mark & the rye is the best I've ever had, full flavored & a good, dense mouthful.
This charming bakery caught our eye as we drove by, and we couldn't resist turning around to investigate. Although we arrived a bit late and missed out on the full selection, the remaining treats were absolutely delicious. I enjoyed a delightful lemon blueberry scone, while my friend indulged in a perfectly moist chocolate muffin. The owner was incredibly friendly and offered valuable insights into local dining options. Don't miss this hidden gem!
Another true gem to find along the beaten path. They ladies are only open a few days a week. Such is small town life but well worth the stop if you are in the area and in need a good hardy fresh breakfast. The bread was especially nice. All made from scratch at this little neat spot. The polenta bread was a pleasant surprise. White bread with corn meal, otherwise called polenta. The omelet I had was filling and nicely done. Coffee was great! And, the ladies are especially nice...
