This place is great! Make a stop in little Wheeler. Don't just drive through. The food at The Roost is really tasty; especially the pastries! Glad for a reason to take a break in Wheeler.

Absolutley delightful little coffee shop. I'm so thankful they stayed open a little longer for the coastal express train. My mocha was perfect, but the star of the show was the friendly customer service and the blueberry bread pudding. Will be back without question, next time I'm in town!

Ordered a breakfast wrap and received a tortilla folded in quarters. Inside was two small bacon and an egg. The worst breakfast ever had! I will not go there again.

What coffee place does an open until 10 AM they’re missing out on a lot of business
so didn’t get to try it but suggest that they open before 10. Ran into another patron also looking for coffee and they wandered off too.

This place is so quaint. I enjoyed ordering an oat milk latte and blueberry bread pudding and then sitting in the back outside.

we discovered The Roost by accident. It is the best! coffee and food. The people are amazing. I highly recommend you to try The Roost. We make a point every year to stop by

The food here is good, but for me, the big attraction is the pastries. These are some of the best I could ever remember having (and I am an old fat man so I should know.). The young lady that runs the place is very pleasant and friendly. The atmosphere is nice nothing fancy very casual. There’s a modest amount of seating inside and out. We dined inside one time - The food was good, nothing fancy. I recommend if you want pastries that you get there early in the morning as she often sells out.

I recommend you try this place. Dave.

We did not really get in, as we arrived before they opened this Sunday. Google maps time is a bit inaccurate. Though we stood outside of the opened windows and could smell the delicious bakery! Hoping to come back here some other time!

We love to support this local gem whenever we visit the coast. It's one of our favorites! The ambience is cozy and welcoming. It has the vibe and food that I wish more places in the county offered. However, I wish they'd only offer brunch specials that they can actually make. We've had the Eggs Benedict twice now and both times have been terrible. The first time the Hollandaise sauce was missing and the second time the eggs were cooked solid and not poached and the Hollandaise was clumpy and didn't taste like Hollandaise sauce at all. Poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce are sort of the main ingredients in an Eggs Benedict..so kind of important to get right.

We'd give this place 5 stars if they'd stop attempting to make Eggs Benedict.

We love the Roost! But please only offer things you can make.

Stopped on a drive down to seaside and got grilled ham and cheese and grilled cheese, was a amazing simple and cheap lunch so on the drive home I stopped and got the breakfast sandwich, biscuits and gravy, and breakfast burritos, and the burritos were amazing did not expect pulled pork to work so well but that with the real eggs and potato’s was just a 10/10 and the biscuits and gravy was a 8/10 needed a little salt and pepper but if you like from scratch biscuits then a 10 easy, and the breakfast bagel sandwich was simple yet still done with all real eggs and real cheese definitely a permanent stop on the coast from now on ?

A nice place for locals and visitors alike. Tables are close, so can be a little loud at times, but in a friendly way. Food is good, but not like Wanda's in the next city north. Still, it's good to have choices and The Roost means to please.

Parking: A couple of blocks off US 101.

Wonderful, warm, welcoming atmosphere. Coffees are great, and the sandwiches are enough for two to share.
