Great small town diner. Solid eats and good service. I loved the chili burger, served open faced and smothered in chili.The scramble with southwest sausage is pretty legit for breakfast, too.This is not fine dining, but a solid four stars for great comfort food at a good price when you just don't want to cook at home.
Locally owned restaurant and as another reviewer stated, a hub in this area, as it is the only well known restaurant. Thankfully it is a good one! We hold a few larger family dinners here each year. The staff is usually very prompt and knows how to handle larger parties.I've attached an updated set of MENU photos as it has changed.If I was to have a gripe, it is that Breakfast is served all day (about half of their menu), BUT it is not all day on Friday or Saturday. The waitress was very attentive and let us choose our seats. Her timing was just right I'm coming back to see what we wanted to order, though she asked if we wanted anything to drink when she seated us. The order came within reasonable time and was excellent. Three of us had the fish and chips, with possible substitution of tater tots. The fish was done just right and the tartar sauce was excellent. The atmosphere was appropriate and not too loud.
