Lux Sucre Bakery + Cafe

I had such high hopes for this bakery, and I was more than let down. I ordered several items, cupcake, cookie, monkey bread, macaroon, and cinnamon role. Firstly, the girl at the counter was very unfriendly and didn't add my cinnamon role to my box. But worse than that, the items I purchased were so very dry! The flavor was not good! What a let down!

We got to collaborate with Lux Sucre at the recent Venue Crawl! Their desserts were absolutely stunning and delicious! Brandon and his team always do a knock-out job!

Lux Sucre is the absolute best. I had a very specific request for a Homer Simpson style cake and they went above and beyond. Everyone was so impressed with the quality. Highly recommend!

They did a great job on my wedding cake, everyone loved it! I highly recommend their carrot cake, it was delicious. Their macarons were a huge hit as well at my reception, and everyone loved them. If you’re looking for a wedding cake and dessert bakery, this is the place to go. Great communication as well and they give you a really nice tasting sampler box to help you with your decisions.

Lux Sucre did an amazing job on our wedding cake and desserts for our wedding! Brandon was super helpful during the process. We rented their platters and they set everything up. Presentation was beautiful and guests loved all the desserts!

We used Lux Sucre for our wedding, and they were absolutely amazing! We chose to do the dessert buffet and had all different kinds of desserts. Lux Sucre delivered everything, set it up in a pretty way, and decorated our cake with flowers. Everyone who works for Lux Sucre is incredibly kind. Would highly recommend visiting their brick and mortar location or using them for an event.

I’ve come here about three times, and each time the staff working at the register is always unfriendly, to the point of making me feel almost uncomfortable for even being there in the first place. Desserts, lattes, and breakfast sandwiches are all very yummy, so I would return for those, but definitely NOT the service or friendliness. It’s too bad, because small businesses in the suburbs (especially bakeries) are few & far between, but we will probably continue frequenting Hungry Hero since they’re much more friendly!

Lux Sucre did a fabulous job with our wedding cake and dessert bar. We worked with Brandon and he was great from the very start: responsive, patient answering all my questions, and gave great advice and guidance. We had them do the full package, including set up and tear down. That was the right decision because it made our wedding day so easy! They came onsite to set everything up, and returned at the end of the night for teardown. They packaged all our extra desserts, and carefully wrapped our remaining wedding cake to take home. Don't sleep on the macarons, that was our most popular dessert! Our wedding cake was delicious, and every dessert we ordered was, too.

Truly my favorite cafe in Wilsonville and frankly, the entire Portland area. So cute and warm inside. Staff is friendly. Well maintained space. The pastries and cookies are delicious!! Love the coffee too. A great place to treat yourself or meet friends. Plenty of cute spots to take photos too.

The wedding vendor we spent the most time making our decision on was our baker. We had some high standards we were looking for in terms of flavors and Lux Sucre was the only bakery we tried that met them. We had lemon poppyseed raspberry as our cake flavor and it was incredible! They did an entire dessert table for us and set it up beautifully. One note, they don't seem to have any gluten free options. Maybe we could have made a special request had we remembered to think about it ahead of time, but it'd be nice if they had more gluten free options for the dessert table or had the option for some to be made that way. But that's on us for not thinking about it until after we had already ordered. Absolutely love this place and highly recommend them and every single one of their delicious desserts!
