A wonderful local treasure. This old A&W location has been a staple in Winston for years. With their great recipes and treats, you can always count on Johnnys to be tasty. My favorite is the Power Wagon with multiple burgers with Johnnys sauce. The fries and shakes are perfect. The service is a little slow during busy times of day but always a good spot to relax and eat inside, outside, in your vehicle, or take to-go!
Was immediately told that I wasn't supposed to grab my own menu even though there was an inviting countertop full of them. Wasn't anyone to seat us or bring us menus so I figured we could browse until someone came around.
