Gran Moraine Winery

I have been here twice and had the pleasure of interacting with Tim both times. He not only is very knowledgeable and kind but makes the experience feel special and intimate. Beautiful grounds and delicious wines, we will be back!

My husband, friends and I visited Gran Moraine for the first time and we had a wonderful experience. Preston, our tasting room host was incredibly kind and knowledgeable! He clearly and passionately explained the winery’s history and wine production process. Tim was also wonderful and kind. The wines were phenomenal. We will absolutely return again!

Amazing place, views and wine and servers. Us ladies stopped here as our last wine drinking place. Boy did we save the best for last. Preston killed it and was by far the best server of the day! We closed the place down and did not feel rushed either. Bought some bottles and can't wait to enjoy them! Definetley will be back.

We come down Willamette Valley every few months and Gran Moraine is a must visit for us every single time. The wine is unparalleled. We first came for the chardonnay, but every wine we absolutely love. The staff is knowledgeable and great to connect with. Their events are wonderful and the atmosphere is welcoming and sophisticated. Free EV charging is first come first serve, but a great perk.

Fun boutique winery with great pinot noir and chardonnay varieties.
We loved the tasting experience, they accommodated our 30 minute delay due to a delayed flight. Our host Jordan was knowledgeable, fun and customized a little treat based on our different dietary restrictions for us. Oh and the views are gorgeous.

I participated in a wine tasting here and I can’t say enough good things about how awesome the experience was. The wine was good, the atmosphere was good, and the service was tremendous. Preston led our wine tasting and he was fantastic. He was super informative and went above and beyond in every way possible to make the wine tasting a memorable experience. I highly recommend this winery and tasting room among the abundant choices in the Willamette region for superb quality, service, and ambiance.

We came to Gran Moraine on Mothers Day and the experience from start to finish was great. We were met at the door by Preston with a glass of rose and a friendly approachable nature that is not often found. The wine was fantastic. Stand outs were the “drop stone” varieties of both the pinot and chardonnay. Will be back next time we are tasting!

I have been going to Gran Moraine regularly since a friend introduced me to this winery 4 years ago and recently became a wine club member. The wines here are unlike anything else I've had from the Willamette Valley. They are full of nuance and are far and away my favorite wines from the area. I have introduced numerous friends to this spot and every time, my guests are so impressed with not only the quality of the wines, but the professionalism of the staff. The service here is always impeccable and Tim is the absolute best! His brain is overflowing with wine knowledge and he will happily share any information with you about what he knows. I learn something new every visit. The views here are lovely, and the seating area inside is cozy and beautiful. The patio on the back is one of my favorite places to sit when the weather is nice because you can hear the winemakers hard at work and you can jam to whatever their daily playlist. If you haven't been here yet, you are absolutely missing out. Their huge selection of pinots are wonderful, as are their other varietals, and the Zena Crown line is not to be missed. Do yourself or any friends visiting you in Portland a favor, and book yourself a tasting here. You won't regret it.

First off. the winery/vineyard is beautiful ❤️ We went because we love the wine but will never forget the special time we had there. Tim is incredibly informative and just a super nice guy. He answered our stupid questions with aplomb. Take a walk around, it's gorgeous.
