“I wish I could give a 10 star review for the service! My wife and I stopped for dinner and as always, had a good meal. The thing that really stuck out to me was that our server, I wish I could remember his name to give him a shoutout, genuinely cared about our experience. In a world where customer service seems to be dying, this staff seems to really care about their patrons. He was knowledgeable, made recommendations, answered questions, and overall went above and beyond. We will return time and time again!”

“Myself and buisness partner visit oliran frequently on lunch often esp lately for several reasons. Not only is the food fresh, delicious, and they are not afraid to spice it up on request... the service is what i also come for. Its a smaller establishment tightly knit and particularily ... Her name is Tess and she has been our server more often than not in the time we have visited. Not only is she extremely professional, she always greets with a smile sometimes with a little sarcasm that we never change our meals. It feels good to have someone that really cares what they are doing for you and is 110 percent focused on your order and your experience. 11/10 best server / hostess with the mosttess / she lights up the dining room.. ask for Tess. And try a saki chambord.. trust me... goes great with steak, fish or that stressful workday”

“I just came here to write a review on a server named Leanne (sorry if I spelled it wrong) We came in Friday night while it was dinner time and busy with a party of 13. We had 6 adults and 7 kids with 3 different checks. Our server, Leanne was amazing. She was friendly, quick, didn't miss a beat. Went back and forth between our two tables. Nothing was messed up and I was impressed. The food was amazing and so were the drinks as always. But our server made the night. She even tracked down tums when desperately needed at our table. Best experience!”

“Brunch at Lamalbec today was nothing short of perfection. Every detail—from the food to the service—was thoughtfully executed and truly memorable. The filets were cooked exactly as requested: juicy, tender, and perfectly done. The potatoes struck that ideal balance of tender on the inside with a crispy exterior, the onions were beautifully caramelized, and the scrambled eggs were just the way we love them—soft, creamy, and seasoned to absolute perfection.

We finished with strawberry crêpes that were light, fresh, and stunningly presented—an absolute delight both visually and in flavor.

What truly set this experience apart was the personal touch. Chef Andres came to our table himself and brought me a special bowl of his French onion soup to make up for one that hadn’t been made correctly by a different chef on a previous visit. That soup was phenomenal—rich, comforting, and clearly made with care. Even more impressive, he returned again to personally ensure we were completely satisfied.

This was hands-down one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve ever had. Lamalbec exemplifies what exceptional dining should be, and we will most definitely be back again.”

“Food and service great. Could be cleaner . However our experience was not pleasant we sat next to this older lady that was upset that she was waiting outside and claims that no one came to get her. The two girls at the checkout apologized to her several times. She just went on and on how the girls should apologize again. I felt so bad for these girls were practically in tears. Her daughter obviously works there and this lady feels she's entitled, she even yelled at the girls in front of customers. I hope these two employees didn't get in trouble for the lady's actions. That is why I am writing this review. The woman's actions were uncalled for!! Otherwise food and service were great!”

“I love the restaurant but there is one waitress Joline that I think should not be a waitress. Yesterday when my husband and I entered the restaurant, we were met with some relatives that stated "Good Luck! we just sat here and didn't get waited on! so we drank our coffee and left." This is not the first time this has happened. Several months ago, my husband and I sat waiting on someone to take our order, Joline came out to take another couples order and they told her that we were here first, she just waved her hand and took their order and NEVER came to take our order. Needless to say we walked out. When we returned weeks later Amy apologized for how we were treated because she knew we came there often. As of this date we never received an apology from Joline. I feel that Joline does not care about others and does what she wants so she should not be a waitress at my favorite restaurant. She will cause you to loose business with her attitude. We observed Joline clearing tables while customers sat waiting to give their order yesterday. When Amy came off break, she took orders from 3 waiting tables while Joline was no where to be found.”

“It has a very fancy setup, and a very well done selection of fancy drinks, I got myself a Chicken Parmigano and the chicken itself was filled with Ricotta cheese, I thought it was a clever idea… I would definitely recommend this place, just get yourself a reservation and you’ll enjoy it too!”

“Wings were incredible. I almost never order sauced wings because they lose their crispness so fast. But these guys do it right..

“My husband and I had our wedding dinner at the Blind Pig Kitchen and it was nothing short of phenomenal. Every single one of our guests raved about the food - from the appetizers, to the entrees, to the dessert, everything was perfect. Sarah was also amazing to work with, quick responses and so kind. Additionally, my husband and I have been to the restaurant for their pre-fix menu, which is also 10/10!”

The food was EXCELLENT. I had a med/rare ribeye (perfect!) and hubs had the glazed chicken.

“we had made a reservation for 16 people but had twenty arrive for the gathering. This restaurant readily made arrangements to accommodate the additional people. Our server Stacey was friendly and efficient. She got every order right and checked on us several times to refill drinks and make sure that we were happy with our meals. Our food was very good, and Stacey's outstanding effort is very much appreciated. She is the example of what great service can be!!!”

“The Olive Garden in Bloomsburg is my comfort food headquarters. I order takeout like it’s a habit I should probably explain to someone, and the shrimp tortellini is the reason.

I also want to mention the manager, Tamara, because you can tell when someone is running a place versus just being “on duty.” This feels like the first one.

The energy is calm, things move, no one looks panicked, and somehow everything keeps working. Which tells me someone is probably answering a question, fixing a schedule, smoothing something over, and mentally tracking five things at once, without announcing any of it.

That kind of leadership matters.

“This place is antiquey and a little secret hiding in bloomsburg. Family owned, handed down from multiple generations. John is the owner, excellent customer service. Open m-sat, i would call ahead to make sure hes open. Its impressive how he runs his business, baking from index cards holding his family secrets.And get the stickey buns and rice krispie treat, not overly sweet.”

The ribs didn't have a precooked, stale taste like many other restaurants. I highly recommend the cinnamon apples as a side.”

“11/11/24. I stopped in to order takeout for Szechuan beef. I asked for it to be extra spicy with extra onions but no baby corn or mushrooms and spicy rice too. . I get home and there’s barely 4 skimpy pieces of beef in it and absolutely no spice AT ALL! The container was 85% rice and the 4 pieces of meat and vegetables were on top. However, I did get extra onions like a pile of them on top.. in addition to the rice not being spicy at all it had absolutely no flavor. What a huge disappointment. I called to voice my concerns and he completely basically sat silent on the phone and I kept repeating myself. “Do you understand me?” He gave no apologies.. nothing. Simply said “that’s the way it is.” Well, if that’s the way it is, I will never go back there again. I’ve never had a bad experience there but this was enough to turn me away especially after his attitude. So beware. What are we supposed to do? Open the container while we’re there in front of them and see how much protein is added. Just ridiculous!”
