From scratch-made dishes that transported me to merry days, to an abundant selection of salads, pilaf, and savory baked goods, every bite was a celebration. Celebrated a special occasion here (they're perfect for anything from birthdays to anniversaries), and the two women owners couldn't have been more accommodating. Forgot a card for my present, and they saved the day with a beautiful card. They even helped us with costumes for a fun game with our guests! The food? Absolutely amazing. The atmosphere? “I ordered via Uber Eats. I had a question about the menu so I called the restaurant but they did not answer. I was surprised when they called me back ...when does that ever happen?! My order arrived exactly as I ordered it and they didn't miss any of the sides. They have a huge selection of desserts and I got the sweet potato pie, it tastes like my 95 yr old grandma from Tennessee made it! Get the homemade healthy green tea drink, you won't be disappointed! The portions are huge... but I'm most impressed with the more flavorable twist on traditional hibachi. ❤ keep it up. I found a new spot!!“

“I travel for work and tried to give this place a shot. Food is fresh and good. The guys at the counter were nice and efficient. Prices are more than reasonable. Had a combo platter with Falafel and chicken with white sauce and a side of green. Like it all especially the thin falafel.“

I ordered a vegetarian plate with falafel and it was tasty and I'm guessing authentic, but someone might need to correct me on that. I really felt that it must be authentic. Although the restaurant is obviously converted, taking a bit away from the atmosphere, it is spotless. Prices are fair.“

“Had a great experience from ordering to receiving our pizzas. We had the gluten free Ranchero Chicken which was awesome and my wife who has celiac had no adverse effects. I had a traditional cheese pizza which was also very good. Would definitely recommend Pizza Bari!“

“Where can I begin… the food was delicious! Friendly service and real conversation. My family and I are from Indiana visiting for the weekend and we wanted to try Grandma B’s. Went on Saturday morning and it was so impressive we said “We’re coming back tomorrow before we leave!” Only to return Sunday morning and they had standing room only! Sadly my party and I were just going to head back to Indiana, hungry when they called us back in and said”We’re going to make room for you all up top.” They proceeded to prepare another area upstairs to accommodate our party! Hands down best food in service in Pittsburgh!“

“First time ordering at a halal joint outside of NYC and was not disappointed. Beef Schwarma is mouth watering. Appreciated an extra slice of pita for my picky child that was given on the house too!“

“Anyone who knows me, knows I love supporting small local businesses. The food was outstanding, but I was surprised at the plastic flatware/napkin in a sealed plastic bag and not real stainless steel flatware. Prices were inline with other Indian restaurants I have been to. Unfortunately, it's street parking in an already crowded street because of apartments. Would I recommend? Absolutely. Would I go back in the future? You bet I would!“
