“Had high expectations for this place but the food just wasn’t that great :/ I ate solo and even tried to fit in 3 dishes but neither of them really hit. Pierogi were nicely crisped on the outside but the romesco-like sauce on the bottom made the dish more on the acidic side, especially since there was already pickled relish on top, and I found myself wishing for more fat or sweetness. I actually used ricotta that came with bread and it tasted much better with it. Lobster roll filling was excellent but I wished they’d actually toasted the bread on the inside and not on the outside. Eating soft white bread of which there was a lot just didn’t feel great. Finally, the skate had good flavor and shishitos were a cute touch but the fish was severely undersalted (it’s a thick fillet) and the sauce on the bottom was, again, mostly acidic and didn’t help much.
Super romantic vibe inside and excellent service. Drinks were good, not great (I enjoyed their version of penicillin but the funghi one had no funghi flavor).”
“Look for our server, David M. Friendly, great sense of humor, provided advice on food and drinks. I wanted a Porter or a stout, and he joyfully replied “Left Hand Milk Stout!” He nailed it.”
“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!”
“got take out today. great food and excellent service. if you ask for it spicy, you won't be disappointed. highly recommend and will be back to try other things on the menu.”
“Everyone was really nice, there were a lot of options and they were explained very clearly. There is a sauce bar for you to make your own dipping sauce. We did both all you can eat hot pot and BBQ and it was a fun experience. We will definitely be back again and again!”

“The restaurant was too cold. It was uncomfortable. There was no where to sit in the entire restaurant that was warm other than the ladies room.”

“Love the staff. Food is excellent. The owners always support local sports and causes.
Parking: Free parking lot is in back.

“Such a great experience! We hired them for a dinner. The communication and customization was perfect. Great actors/actresses. Lots of positive feedback from our guests. 10/10 would hire again.”
“Absolutely fantastic restaurant. Great views, several floors up overlooking a mountain top above the city. Ambient lighting and music add to the atmosphere. Food is very fresh and cooked perfectly! The bar has several areas to drink and just relax as well. $5 cash only tram ride to come up from the city to the neighborhood the restaurant is in.”
“This location was recommended for a medical school reunion in Pittsburgh by our alumni association. The food was excellent and the portions very generous. We did the family style dining for a large group, and it was very well received. One of my Italian classmates sate the the Cacio e Pepe was the best that he had tasted outside of Milan. I would strongly recommend this location for really first rate Italian food and a great atmosphere”

“Fantastic atmosphere, possibly the best out of any restaurant space in Pittsburgh. Fantastic menu options, including vegan. Beware of parking. We ended up several blocks away, and no valet.
Parking: No designated parking lot or valet. Lawrenceville street parking only”

“Second time eating at this gem, bringing the family along. I had the tikka masala, and family had red curry, chicken quesadilla and Hawaiian stir fry. The flavors were SO delicious and everyone loved their meals. It's great they offer vegetarian protein choices and substitutes. Owners are super friendly. We can't wait to come back again!”
“Pizza Parma has the best pizza in town! Thanks to Norman for supplying pizza for our local event, everyone loved the pizza and had a great time!”
“got take out today. great food and excellent service. if you ask for it spicy, you won't be disappointed. highly recommend and will be back to try other things on the menu.”
“I'm very happy to have this new place in the neighborhood. Some of the best falafel I've had in Pittsburgh, with great sauces and sides available. The workers there were very nice and pampered my daughter and now I don't think she will want to go anywhere else! I even learned how to say "thank you" in Kurdish :-) Spas!
Kid-friendliness: They had a container of ring pops and other sweets near the register and the man working there gave my daughter one. It's her new favorite restaurant!”
“Everyone was so friendly and gave great suggestions on what to add to the vegan bowl that I got. The samosas tasted great, and I love the mint chutney and tamarind sauce!”

“Absolutely amazing food. We had 7 different things and they were all full of insane flavor. Highly recommend!”
“We went to Eddie V's to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. The food, service, and ambiance were outstanding! The lobster bisque was so delicious! If you are celebrating a special occasion or a special date night out I would highly recommend this restaurant! 10/10 And make sure you take a stroll through the union trust building! Beautiful!”

“What a wonderful experience eating here! As a person with a strict gluten free diet, I loved being able to find a restaurant that not only offered gluten free items but items that could be made gluten free! Everything I have tried has been amazingly prepared, the staff is excellent, and the atmosphere relaxed and beautiful. I'll definitely be making this a favorite dinner place!”
“Excellent restaurant! Can’t wait to return. Everyone is so welcoming and fantastic hosts. I appreciated the relaxed atmosphere, art, and creativity while enjoying really outstanding food. It was the perfect spot for my birthday tonight. ❤️”
“The food was AMAZING! The service was AMAZING! The drinks were AMAZING! We are going back tomorrow because we loved it so much! “Clean ,friendly and delicious.”
“Such a great atmosphere! We loved coming here for the food and the drinks! Phy was our bartender and she was great! We will definitely be back”
“First time dining at Senti. Not a big menu to choose from, but what you do get is quality. The apps were very good to start the evening and the dinners were excellent. Nice portions and very tasty. Drinks are very good and paired nicely with dinner. We will definitely be back.”
“We didn’t have food. Stopped for a drink before a Penguins game. Our bartender Lindsay was top notch. She gave us an education on mixology. We concocted an old fashioned with High West Campfire bourbon and molasses bitters that came out as the best old fashioned I ever had. Always great experience here but Lindsay made it perfect.”
“Highly recommend Taco Tuesday $1 tacos & $2 margaritas (1-6). Food was great! In & out for lunch in less than 30 minutes.”
“If you want to enter a whimsical world populated by dragons, unicorns and good sushi then go to Maya sushi! Their dragon roll is not only fresh and tasty (delicious rice) it’s served with a dragon statuette. I think we can all agree that eating sushi and looking at an adorable dragon is better than eating sushi and staring at no adorable dragons. And if you disagree then I’m sorry you have no happiness in your life.”

“Stop scrolling and just map here and go already! I grew up on the island of Guam with a wide variety of fresh authentic Asian food at my fingertips. Often eating Asian food is sad for me because it is so far from what I remember and reminds me of how far away I feel from the Pacific Ocean. Now that I’ve found this place, there’s nowhere else I will be going when I’m homesick and hungry. The owner and his family are simply precious, radiating quiet kindness and familial warmth to every guest who came in. They are a new restaurant, but the owners (both chefs) knew people by name and asked new guests their names, and served exquisite and beautiful food I will be thinking about for days. If you can, bring a friend with you so you can share something from Japan and something from Thailand on your first visit. You won’t regret it. Oh, and the donuts…
Vegetarian options: Most menu items can be made vegetarian or vegan!
Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, very relaxed and unpretentious, owners are parents and happy to host children.”
“First time there from North Carolina to see the Steelers Monday night game. Fantastic place to go anytime but before the game was extremely cool. I recommend to anyone.”
24 Hour Restaurants
“Just needed a bite to eat after a long trip across the state. The pierogi? Simple, but well prepared and plated with style. Good price, and the bar selection was great, though I did not indulge. Would and will definitely stay there and eat/drink there. A lot of whiner reviews here, but I was duly impressed and I have stayed at two others in the neighborhood and this is the best of the bunch.”
“This is the best pizza in town. Had a pepperoni and green pepper pizza. It was very light and flavorful. Will not go anywhere else.
Thank you Lupis. ❤️”

“Barcelona has absolutely won my heart! From the moment you step inside, you’re transported to a cozy, modern space filled with warmth and charm. The menu is a creative fusion of authentic Spanish flavors and innovative twists—each dish a work of art! ? The tapas are perfectly crafted for sharing, and the sangria? Chef’s kiss. ?✨I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu!”
Takeout Restaurants
“Love the atmosphere and memorabilia. The staff is so friendly, accommodating, and eager to help. The food is delicious, and well presented. The restaurant was clean and inviting. So refreshing to be surrounded by true patriots! A wonderful experience!”
“Biscuits are fantastic and next time I’m getting mine with jam.”
“The breweries chosen may not be what you hoped for at first, but if you get Braxton as the guide, you are in for a great experience. Excellent knowledge and very conscientious of each individual on the tour. Highly recommend”
“Amazing place. and staff is soo friendly and professional. My juice maker was named Gina and she was wonderful. 5 out of 5”
“Consistently delicious, fresh ingredients prepared expertly, incredible service. Couldn’t ask for a better breakfast experience!”
“Me and my girlfriend went to Baby Tacos today for the first time we got there a few minutes before they opened. Who I’m assuming the owner was very friendly and still waited on us. The food was done in minutes and when I went to check out he told me to put my money away the first one is on the house. There aren’t to many businesses like this one in this day and age. Food was great will definitely be a return customer”
“My new favorite place! Delicious! Friendly. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back soon.”
“We had a delicious breakfast of crepes and French toast this morning. We want to come back and try the dinner menu. Friendly service! Highly recommend!”
“I’m typically not a mushroom person but the Oyster Mushroom sandwich was out of this world. Definitely will be making this a regular stop in my life!”
“food was fantastic, and the bottomless Margaritas, sensational”
“We ordered the coupon deal (2 large pizzas for $29.99) for our Neighborhood game night. Delivery was prompt, delivery driver was very nice, and the pizza was very good! Will definitely order again!”
“It smells soooo good. Once you get outside the store, you can smell the goodies. Once you get inside, you want to eat everything and buy everything it smells so good!!
The ice cream is some of the BEST I've ever had very fresh!! And you MUST try the pound cake is ABSOLUTELY Delicious ? it comes by the slice however you can order a whole cake. The cookies & brownies are delicious too!!
I most definitely recommended this place!!
This is a MUST place to stop and have dessert ?
Kid-friendliness: They have a kids' table and cute little activities things for kids”
“Such a nice little restaurant. The food is full of flavor and the staff is super nice. My picky toddler ate her whole dinner. None of us had any food left. That's a win!! Definitely recommended ?”
“I've spent 30 years in Los Angeles (and Mexico and around the world) enjoying amazing Mexican/Hispanic cuisine. We are finally getting some authentic and creative Hispanic food in the Burgh! Yesterday I tried Tepache Fox Chapel. The menu was very creative with authentic dishes from around the world. I tried the birria tacos. They were perfect! "A Jalisco staple. Quick-fried chipotle-corn tortilla stuffed with beef slow-marinated in chile de árbol and cinnamon, topped with raw onion, cilantro, melted queso Oaxaca. Served with lime and consomé broth for dipping." Yes they even came with console broth!!!!! The drink menu was also very creative! Great service and as we know a beautiful restaurant!”
“The food was AMAZING! The service was AMAZING! The drinks were AMAZING! We are going back tomorrow because we loved it so much! We had cheese curds (the sauce was the best!), the mussels, pulled pork nachos and shrimp tacos! All were hands down the best we have had! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Don’t walk RUN to this place!”

Drive-Thru Restaurants
“Visited for the first time recently and was pleasantly surprised. My coffee was great, and my husband enjoyed his drink as well. Service was friendly and fast. Will definitely return.”
“Love this place! Tried it a few days ago for the first time and loved. Love how you can either order online or at the store. The store isn’t like a regular restaurant. It is pretty much all electronic from when you place your order till you receive it. But it’s super cool. Loved the food and was reasonably priced”
“The food is good but chick fil a's success comes from how professional they are compared to other fast food establishments. They are much better trained. Place is clean. Food is good. Kinda expensive for fast food.”
“We love this place. We came upon it accidentally on a walk and decided to give it a try. And wow, were we surprised. The Cider and Mead were absolutely amazing. Pizza was on point and the mac & cheese was fantastic. Our server was super friendly and kind. Highly recommend.”
“This is The Best Chinese Restaurant around!!!! Fresh, flavorful and fast! Our favorite!!!”
“Anyone who knows me, knows I love supporting small local businesses. The food was outstanding, but I was surprised at the plastic flatware/napkin in a sealed plastic bag and not real stainless steel flatware. Prices were inline with other Indian restaurants I have been to. Unfortunately, it's street parking in an already crowded street because of apartments. Would I recommend? Absolutely. Would I go back in the future? You bet I would!”
“A classic local area diner. Usually decent food. I wish that they switched back to all iceberg lettuce instead of mixed greens for their salads, or at least give people the option of all iceberg. Their ranch is always great, and theres lots of fried appetizer options.”
“Dietary restrictions: Yes can modify request
Wheelchair accessibility: Fully accessible. Best feature is the fact items are hand delivered to vehicle reducing need to reach out windows”
“Can’t come back home from Dallas without going to the hot dog shoppe!!!! Makes me extremely happy!!!!!”
“Please don't ever loose the Rootbeer or Banana or Cotton Candy or Tropical Punch or Cherry - these should stay as "Staple" in the flavor selections!! ?”
“Excellent restaurant! Can’t wait to return. Everyone is so welcoming and fantastic hosts. I appreciated the relaxed atmosphere, art, and creativity while enjoying really outstanding food. It was the perfect spot for my birthday tonight. ❤️”
“I love this place. I can’t say enough about it, the service, the portions, the grade of fish I was served, everything is always spot on. I’d recommend the seaweed salad and the sushi and sashimi platter.”
Fine Dining
“Steaks were impeccable, fries were great, lobster Mac was wonderful. Downsides was the tuna app which was very bizarre and the worst of all, the water tasting like algae. They need to get a new water filter. Other than that, it was great.”
“We have been fortunate to partner with Bella Christie for about 10 years now. When it was time to plan our 30th-anniversary celebration and we needed an active station, Bella Christie was our top choice! The cotton candy machine was a huge hit, equipped with glow wands! We are eagerly looking forward to having Bella Christie at our next club event!”
“What can I say ,Just look at the menu The steak was the best I ever had, they go out of their way to serve u the an awesome meal, sides were just as good and desserts where right on. The drink are phenomenal if you got time stop in!!!!”
“Zach was lovely. Beautiful venue. Food was generally good. I think the wine list is extremely overpriced. $700 for 2020 Quintessa is ridiculous. We know Quintessa well and this is way overpriced even for an upscale restaurant. Went with something else. Overall totally recommend.”
“These cupcakes are so delicious. Everytime you think you have a favorite flavor you try another one and it becomes your favorite. Alex, the owner is so sweet and makes you feel like family when you come in to pick up your order.”
“Food and service was great. A little cold in the bar area lol...but as always consistency is key when we decide where to go to lunch and Eddies is it!!! Looking forward to the Thanksgiving day meal!!!”
“We frequent this establishment almost every time we visit the casino. It is one of our favorite places. Last night was not the best night, service was slower than normal and both of our steaks were way overdone. Everyone has an off night once in a while and we will be back!”
“My new favorite drink is a French 75. I pair it with baked olives, twice cooked fries and a margarita pizza. A favorite casual meal!”
“The best foods, friendly service, and quick”
Cheap Eats
“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)”
“Simple yet insanely good flavor, I couldn't get enough. The stuffed french toast was amazing, and the homefries were indescribably good. Friendly staff and clean dining area. Will definitely be coming back soon!”
“please just go and try one time!!! you will be addicted!!! The best ice cream ever!!!! 5 star is not enough for this place! the menu is changing all the time, dont be sad if your favorite ice cream is not on the menu! Because you cannot be dissappointed with the new flavor you are going to try!!! Won-der-ful, a-ma-zing!!”
“Glad to have Latin American food on Murray. Arepas were very good and filling. Enjoyed the food. Quick stop after hitting up the Giant Eagle.”
“Just found this bakery today and it is awesome. Everything is fresh and great tasting definitely get a fruit tart. We will be back for sure!”
“Absolutely unique small restaurant in Pittsburgh. I think they have the best submarine type sandwiches among other things in the city. Their outdoor tables are different, because it's a tiny restaurant. For six of us it was great eating outside. The restaurant is fast, convenient and the food is delicious and reasonable.
Vegetarian options: I get the shadyside hoagie it's all veggies. I'm actually a meat eater but I love the shadyside.”
“5 months since my very first time in July I've been dreaming about Chaykhana's Uzbek plov. It was my first time experiencing Uzbeki Cuisine and plov. Today I had the opportunity to indulge again and the food here is phenomenal. Without Chaykhana's presence in Pittsburgh and their community events - it would not had opened me up to the world of related cuisines with deeper appreciation. Uzbekistan was the meeting point and hub of exchange. I hope that centrality of converging cultures blesses Pittsburgh with continuous diversity and acceptance.”
“Amazing people and friendly staff. I feel like a local while visiting Pittsburgh. Strawberry Lane is a cool spot with amazing architecture. Finding Villa Reale was a bonus and one that I am grateful for! Thanks to the bartender, Alex and his wife and friends for giving me many recommendations for experiencing the city!”
“Very friendly! Iced latte was made quickly and tasted great! Definitely a great local option!”
“Food was delicious! I wasn’t expecting it to be that good! Coffee and the fresh orange juice were the best part. Can’t wait to come back. The waitress was really nice too!”
“Anything! Its all good and delicious!”
“The food was really good and I liked the atmosphere. I’m an eggs benedict fan so I really enjoyed the variety of choices! I’ve lived in the area for almost 4 years now and have always driven past this place numerous times but never stopped in until today and I can say I am really impressed + it’s walking distance so that’s an extra perk!”
“Wow...what a restaurant. 3 of us were celebrating our 74th birthdays as we do annually and chose Eleven as our "special" dinner. Smart choice. Jeanne was our super server. Personable, knowledgeable, helpful. Took pictures for us. Everything you want in a good server. The food! We started with just a half dozen tiny sweet, slightly briny oysters with mignonette. We all decided on the swordfish with forbidden rice & rock shrimp risotto, smoked peppers, olives, lemon, fennel, watercress. One had the most interesting Caesar salad with the creamy dressing on the bottom and a vinaigrette over the top which you then stirred together. Best Caesar! The swordfish was moist, delicious and the risotto worked perfectly with it. Incredible combination. Two of us shared a trio of sorbets that tasted as fresh as the fruit in them. As a small token to recognize our birthdays, the restaurant served this sweet little dessert. The restaurant itself was a former ice house and has been a 2 story restaurant there for 20 years. Very nicely done with multiple rooms for small gatherings. The noise level was energetic but we were able to talk just fine. Overall an incredible experience and I highly recommend this place in you are in Pittsburgh.”
“Went here for birthday dinner and had a wonderful experience. We waited about 20 minutes to put our names down, then maybe 15 more to get a table. Once we ordered, the food arrived within five minutes. The potato dumplings with rye crumbs are one of the best bites I’ve ever eaten. Also had the onion and cabbage pie and the celeriac schnitzel; both very good but slightly less mind-blowing. The drinks are also amazing and made with in-house syrups.”
“The provolone cheese wheel was so delicious! My poor husband barely got any before I ate most of it! I haven’t eaten anything deep fried in a long time. The pasta dish was also delicious. My husband who is not gluten free also enjoyed his meal. Service was great as well. We will definitely be back. There is so much we want to try on the menu!”
“My husband & I are regulars! Delicious authentic Korean soups & dishes and the sushi & sashimi are amazing! You must try the Love Boat & hwoi dop bap! Owner & all staff are simply the best!!”
“Even having a cocktail and snacks at the bar is delicious!”
“Not the same as it was, but the new owner is passionate and the staff is top notch. I miss some of the charm of the old vibe, but the Pub is in the hands of someone who appears to care about the place, while following her own vision. Still one of the best spots to grab a Guinness, eat a little (good) pub food and share a good conversation.”
“Steaks were impeccable, fries were great, lobster Mac was wonderful. Downsides was the tuna app which was very bizarre and the worst of all, the water tasting like algae. They need to get a new water filter. Other than that, it was great.”
“Siempre Algo is one of our favorite restaurants of all time, not just in the city. The food is always impeccable, and the service is somehow even better. The entire staff is welcoming, attentive, and kind. The environment is very hip and the music is always great. Kimber is an incredible mixologist. Whether you're seated at the bar for a drink and quick bites or at a table for a full, multi-course meal you can expect to be wow-ed at Siempre Algo! I dream about the liver pâté and O.G-eez Itz cocktail on a regular basis!”
“fantastic company. incredible food!!! and we love soccer:)”
“Exquisite dishes. The Red Pepper Casereccia scallops, roasted garlic with parsley butter was delectable! Perfectly seared and melted in my mouth. Experienced new flavor profiles for appetizer, dinner dishes and desserts. Mediterranean Spread of grilled chickpea hummus had an almost whipped texture with bright flavor and the thick flatbread that was very moist and flavorful. Topped off the evening with Chiffon Cake consisting of wine poached pears, cardamom oranges, and vanilla mascarpone. Delicioso ?
Wheelchair accessibility: At street level making it very easy.”
“Great food and drink! Had the best burger and watermelon mimosa! staff was super friendly!”
“Prices are terrific, service is outstanding, and the atmosphere is what you'd expect out of a tavern, with a bonus from some potted plants.
The soup du jour, a spiced black bean soup, was out of this world. The fried pickles were the best fried pickle wedges I've ever had, with some terrific batter. The wings were good. The sauces were delicious, especially the spice golden BBQ sauce we had (golden goldenboy, I think). The only thing was they weren't crispy.
We'll definitely be back though.”
“Food is great!! BYOB, but they have mocktails to mix. Your name is written on the table. Lots of little extra efforts! Little pricey, but wonderful place!!”
“5⭐️Friendly staff, great atmosphere and delicious food.”
“Super skillful and talented bartenders. Lovely atmosphere and lounge vibe. Terrific place for extraordinary drinks and small bites.
Vegetarian options: Hummus, onion dip, Crostini & Vegetable Crudités”
“The food is delicious and the atmosphere is great!!!”
“I came here with my dad and got the chicken piccata, which was delicious! It was served with assorted vegetables which I actually liked versus the pasta. We will be back!”
“My wife and I had dinner there tonight 8/22 our 43 wedding anniversary. First timers there and the meal was delicious! From the fried zucchini app to the Seafood trio meal perfect. Thank you for a wonderful dinner!”
“Great food and great atmosphere and service. Service was on point.”
“Fabulous dinner, unique menu, we had Fried Green Tomato Sandwich, Guinness Roast Beef, Fish and Chips, and Salmon, then shared the Bread pudding, all was excellent!”
“Clean and cozy. Great service. Fantastic food. I had the smoked chicken quesadilla, it was so tasty! Will definitely come back and bring more people along!”
“What a cool place! Thanks for hosting our Robert Burns Night!”
“Great short rib queso! Great drinks and service!”
“Checked out the BP location today - fast, friendly service and great food! Thanks!”
“First time having Soul Pasta @Leaning Cask pop up. The Pasta Arrabbiata was amazing! Came with meatballs and bread. Very nice people, reasonably priced meal. We ended up buying more to take home. Cheers!”
“At the time of writing this, Alta Via has an average rating of 3.7 and I cannot, for the life of me, fathom why. The food was fantastic and served quickly. The portions are generous, and the pricing for a half vs full is linear (half portion is exactly half the price) which is not typical-you’re usually charged a bit more than half in restaurants. Our service was great; Anna was attentive and took questions to help us navigate the menu. The atmosphere is just right with respect to volume and very tidy. Somehow they made the seating comfortable yet fine and all pleasing to the eye. The pricing is deeply reasonable-our meal would have been $100 if not for the wine bottle, and that’s an appetizer, four half portion entrees, and desert. The food is creative, and entrees have been crafted carefully and thoughtfully. Frankly, it’s just way too nice to be that close to a Primantis.”
“Loved the Strawberry Fields chicken salad, the chicken bacon Ranch Piadina, and the Pizookie Trio was so decadent! Dustin B.was our server. polite, professional, helpful and friendly. Ask for him when you stop in!”
“Bosphorus has the tastiest lamb kebabs, as well as an interesting selection of different types of grilled lamb and chicken, served with a delicious salad, sauce and rice. There are great vegetarian options, too and the owner/server has a great memory for your preferences. Outdoor seating was pleasantly shaded, and indoor is of course also available.”
“We loved this place! Our waitress and staff were helpful, pleasant and attentive. Everything we ordered was amazing-from taste to presentation. Sampler appetizer, soups, salad, multiple kinds of kabobs, dessert and coffee. To die for!”
“They gave us the green salsa with our chips, we had to ask for the house/red salsa. Offered a "peach tea", it wasn't peach at all and barely tasted like tea, I took a sip and asked for another drink.....we were billed for the green salsa and the nasty tea.....neither of which we wanted or enjoyed. I have never been to a restaurant that charges you for something you didn't like or ask for. ordered 2 soft chicken tacos....small as a taco bell taco and had a tablespoon or 2 of juice in them.....just runs out all over the place.”
“Absolutely wonderful menu, service, and food! Always a pleasure to dine here. Love to support one of the best restaurants in Pittsburgh.”
“Allegheny Wine Mixer is an absolutely spectacular establishment for the grown and sexy crowd to explore. Very welcomed atmosphere with the ambiance of a classic wine bar but with an upbeat and hip vibe. All are welcomed. The wine selection is like no other, as the varieties of wines are worldwide. Our wine was paired perfectly with the Chocolate Happiness Plate. The chef cooks all foods right in front of you and pairs foods perfectly. This hidden gem is THE place to go!! Perfect 10 out of 10!
Parking: Parking is plentiful”
“We had an amazing experience at your establishment. The service was excellent and the bartender was so friendly. The cocktails were so delicious and I enjoyed the three types of Ginger beer that is made. We had the Dark and Stormy and Texas Medicine. I saw you feature on PTL and could not wait to try it. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you”

“We went to G’s for our anniversary and it was an absolutely delightful experience. Great quiet and cozy atmosphere, stellar service, and incredible food and drinks. Every dish was full of flavor and the textures were all beautifully done. Even the bread basket was amazing with maple butter. It felt like a 5 star dining experience for a reasonable person. Excited to go back again soon.”

“Mezcal is our favorite neighborhood spot in Lawrenceville. In an area that is trendy and growing, it feels like a slice of home. The staff is friendly and service is prompt, not to mention the food is DELICIOUS - best steak tacos in the city. Great for a night out, too!
Vegetarian options: Good veg taco options (cactus taco, squash, potato)
Dietary restrictions: Good dairy free options”

“Overall, our experience at OTARU was exceptional. Our evening started with warm hand towels that bloomed into flowers in front of our eyes. Our server, Noah, expertly guided our party of four through the menu. With his suggestions in mind, we ordered an array of dishes among us and enjoyed every one. Special shout outs go to the roasted salmon entree and the wine selection. This is not even to mention the view of the city. I would recommend both OTARU and Noah to any diner and we definitely will be back! Five stars.”
“Highly recommend! Food is amazing and thoughtfully prepared. Service is wonderful!! We have been to Albero Verde at least 6 times in the last three months! We are very picky about where we dine and Albero Verde exceeds expectations every time! Best BYOB policy too! Bonus: It’s cool to be able to watch the kitchen in action!”
“I recently ate at Kiku and the sushi was the best I have ever eaten. The sushi was fresh and delicious, as it has been every time I have eaten there. It is definitely the best sushi in the area. You can taste the true flavor of the fish without sauces or spices. At Kiku you will enjoy an authentic sushi experience that won't disappoint.”
“Rachel is making some delicious Venetian Spritz’s! The guest tap: Troeg’s Oktoberfest Marzen is perfect for the upcoming Autumn. Bona Fide is a great bar with incredible staff❣️”
“We attended Joywave concert, and it was an amazing experience. The acoustics and the environment was perfect. It felt like a smaller and more intimate version of House of Blues. Joywave put on an excellent show!”
“My time at Con Alma was absolutely lovely! I felt very welcomed by Sarah and left with a smile on my face. I went out on a date night, and my date and I enjoyed the live music and drinks! I highly recommend this establishment for a fun night out!”
“The quintessential pizza parlor! Phenomenal pizza. The tiramisu and cannoli cake are to die for. Awesome house vinaigrette. Great prices!”
“I went with a group of four after experiencing terrible service at another establishment. I have to say Tako really saved the evening. The staff were fantastic! The food was tasty and the presentation was great! You can’t beat an 8p-10p happy hour! And, if you’re a fan of 90s hip hop, Tako is the spot. I enthusiastically recommend Tako!”

“My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here this weekend. It was unbelievable! The service ,menu and quality of food was outstanding.”
“Everyone was really nice, there were a lot of options and they were explained very clearly. There is a sauce bar for you to make your own dipping sauce. We did both all you can eat hot pot and BBQ and it was a fun experience. We will definitely be back again and again!”
“We visited Pittsburgh from Georgia and went up there on Mt. Washington via the Incline. This bar was about a block away from the Incline's upper station; it was an easy, pleasant walk even with my two small kids. Honestly we were a bit embarrassed because we were the only party with kids, and the place looked kind of far from a kids-friendly one. But our server Adrian, the hero of the night, went to the neighbor store across the street and brought us plastic cups for my kids. We were already so touched by his kindness but it was too early. Their Mac and Cheese was fantastic, and Kimchi Hot Dog was beyond perfect. (We are Korean, so we never mess up with Kimchi. So I am not joking here!) Overall, definitely an unforgettable experience at the bar. It will be the #1 place we will go back to whenever we visit Pittsburgh again!!!! Too many thanks to Adrian again!!”
“The shrimp with house made cavatelli is to die for!!!! Can’t wait to come back.”
“I arrived with a van load of 7 or 8 people. When we walked in there were not that many people in the restaurant but by the time we ordered, the restaurant just filled up. It took very long to get our food, and I did notice that we were sort of ignored because there were so many two tops and four tops, and the waiters and waitresses couldn't get to them. By the time we got our food, most of us didn't really have a chance to eat because we had to be back to our senior center for people being picked up. Actually I took my food home, it was good, but it would have been better had I been able to have it at the restaurant.
Wheelchair accessibility: We did have one person at our table that was in a wheelchair so she had no problem getting to our table.”
“Great food, cozy Atmosphäre and great Bier, what else can I say!”
“Was very surprised, because the establishment is small. The food was excellent. I had arugula salad with vinaigrette and Chicken Parmesan. I wanted every last desert behind the glass counter. No bad choices! I chose cannoli, my wife had the tiramisu 😋”
“Stopped in for Soul Pasta. It's really cool that they host food truck owners. The bar inside is pretty limited and they don't have any diet sodas. But the space is clean, the chairs are comfortable, and the temperature is pretty comfortable. They have a TV on to watch the game. I'd return.”

“Recently we had out of town guests, and they raved about the food particularly the seafood options. The 2 different meals they had at the restaurant were both exemplary and I was very proud to tell them we eat there often. We first ordered our meal for takeout and then we went to the dining room for the second meal. Thank you for the many years of continued dining excellence.”
“Great experience and amazing food every time. Does not disappoint!!! Thankful for a place to eat with consistently good food and great service.”

“I felt safe and comfortable here. Good vibes. Not fancy but if you're looking to get away from your usual and have a drink listen to some music and chill from your every day routine stop by. Oh there's no smoking and you may have a good laugh or two. There are some characters. But don't think you will meet your next someone. There's also a kitchen.”
“The people and food is awesome. Will keep coming back to them to get my coffee fix.”

“I came here during Hurricane Milton from Florida. I had Danielle D as my sever. She was absolutely amazing. She listened and was super attentive. I’ll definitely be back and hopefully have her again as a server”
“Food was outstanding but the service was absolutely over the top. Our main server “CC” made our visit memorable and special. Her second in command Stephanie just added to the evening. These two young ladies can write the book on customer service. A dining experience above all expectations.”
“Was our first time today we went out and took the kid's. It was absolutely amazing will definitely come again for sure. Worth every penny spent thats for sure. Also loved our waitress she was amazing”
“Food and service was great. A little cold in the bar area lol...but as always consistency is key when we decide where to go to lunch and Eddies is it!!! Looking forward to the Thanksgiving day meal!!!”

“Clean ,friendly and delicious.”
“Food was incredible! Love the bolognese! Lexi, our server, seemed to manage the whole restaurant and did a wonderful job! She was very attentive but didn’t crowd the table! Excellent service!”
“My husband spilled water from a too full water. Hilea brought napkins for him to clean it up. How nice of her. I ordered shrimp and grits. The grits were lukewarm. So, while my husband ate I waited for a new dish. It would have been nice to have been compensated for the wait. No such luck. The food was good. The waitress was your usual waitress of today. Young and very impersonable. We may come back. Thank you.”
“this place is pretty cool honestly, the tech is pretty crazy. i love the concept as well, and good service.
i just don't think the food is all that high quality unfortunately, definitely more of a quantity over quality vibe here.”
“A couple of months ago, my husband and I went here, to Sullivan's Pittsburgh for a dinner. There is no other to phrase it....the service was horrible, rating of an F. The quality of the food, was a C, mainly related to the filet being overcooked, the soup not being hot, the dessert being dry and the coffee cold. All of which could have been corrected had the waitress returned sooner than 45 minutes after serving our meal, or asking to replace the items that were not to our satisfaction, even with almost the entire portion of the plate or bowl or mug being left uneaten. To our concern, we could see similar experiences being had around the room. Luckily, after some thought and discussion, I decided to call the restaurant to speak to the manager. Timing was on my side as a new manager just started that same week. He listened intently to my expressed concerns, extended his apologies and asked that we give him a chance to turn things around. Last night was that chance. Our experience was nothing but exceptional. Our waiter, Jeff (I hope that I have your correct name), was so attentive, pleasant and interactive. The pace that our food was delivered allowed us to finish one course before the next one arrived. The food was wonderfully and tastefully prepared. As we sat and ate, we looked around the restaurant and it appeared that not only did we receive attentive service but so did other tables within our view. The couple next to us who were celebrating their 52nd wedding anniversary were treated like a bride and groom. Their enjoyment of the attention received was so obvious.... So thank you manager, Scott Watson. From our new experience, you have done well to turn things around. We certainly will return and encourage others who may have had a bad experience too, to give Sullivan's a try again.”

“We stopped in around 6:30 on Friday for some drinks and snacks. The salt and vinegar chicken basket (strips and fries) was the perfect thing to share. The place looked great and the outside area looked cool, but was not open. Lots of big TVs and great bar stools - comfy with a back - but no bar foot rail or hooks under the bar for purses. The bar is really big and there are booths and high top tables in the bar area, with nice, big bathrooms downstairs. We’ll definitely go back - seems like a good place to watch a game.”
“Best cheesesteak I’ve eaten and the potato buds were everything!”
“This is my pizza place. Everyone has their choice, and this one is mine. Florence serves a fantastic cheese pizza with a slightly crispy crust with a perfect balance of sauce and cheese. They don't spoil their cheese pizza with provolone and have a great sauce that isn't sweet and holds on the pizza perfectly.
Florence also offers other food that is great. Their pesto margarita was a wonderful change of pace with a homemade pesto sauce lovely globs of mozz.
The choices of 5 sizes of pizza allow you to get a small pie if it is just you at home or a jumbo pie that feeds the whole family.
Their store is small up front, but they make up for it with some of the nicest folks in Pittsburgh. New to the area, they are loving the town here and quickly making themselves at home here in the North Hills.
In a town that has a pizza shop in every plaza, Florence stands out with high-quality ingredients, great pizza, and a fantastic family run shop. I look forward to many more delicious pizzas and lots of other options from their menu.”
“Very simple sandwich. The workers are great - they work like bees. Next time I'll go to Subway. More choice, lower price. And I can eat bread with ham and cheese at home.”
“Fantastic atmosphere, possibly the best out of any restaurant space in Pittsburgh. Fantastic menu options, including vegan. Beware of parking. We ended up several blocks away, and no valet.
Parking: No designated parking lot or valet. Lawrenceville street parking only”
