“My Boyfriend Kenny and I went here Friday kinda close to closing time. I haven’t been able to eat much since my Father Passed away so we got togo Gyro meat and sauce Pita on side! James is consistently pleasant and cheerful! He really made us feel welcomed and we had some Great Laughs! I go out very often and it’s SOO AWESOME to find someone like James in the service industry!!! What a Treasure he is to find!!! Thanks You Sooo Much we will be back many times !!! Thank You James!!!

“My wife picked this place for my birthday. The atmosphere both inside and in the garden was amazing. The music, ambiance, and food were a perfect match. We had beef cheek and pumpkin curry for the main course and roti as a starter. The portions were quite large, so we couldn't finish and asked for a box. The taste was incredible, with tons of flavor. The vegetables and meat were perfectly cooked. I love this place. Strongly suggested!”

“A group of 5 of us visited Dish last night and the meals were amazing. Grilled Squid, the best I have ever had. Where else can you find it not breaded and fried? Add to that their amazing sardines so fresh and good. Pasta Funghi another high. Exquisite detail to taste in every dish. The owners go way out of their way to make you feel welcomed and happy and very satisfied. A must visit when you are lucky enough to get a reservation though other friends have happily sat at the bar for dinner just to be there!! Kudos to Dish!”

“We had a great dinner here. The drink with mango is awesome. Rosemary makes it special! We ordered lobster roll for starter, beef tenderloin and los de Lamar fish for entree. They both are amazing! Highly recommend all of them. People had great rating for baked Alaska(their dessert) so even though I was full, we ordered it. It’s also great but not phenomenal. I’m picky so I feel surprised everything we ordered is great. Definitely will come back!”

“Second time eating at this gem, bringing the family along. I had the tikka masala, and family had red curry, chicken quesadilla and Hawaiian stir fry. The flavors were SO delicious and everyone loved their meals. It's great they offer vegetarian protein choices and substitutes. Owners are super friendly. We can't wait to come back again!”

“Me and my girlfriend went to Baby Tacos today for the first time we got there a few minutes before they opened. Who I’m assuming the owner was very friendly and still waited on us. The food was done in minutes and when I went to check out he told me to put my money away the first one is on the house. There aren’t to many businesses like this one in this day and age. “This place was delicious! I’m always somewhat hesitant when it comes to “American” restaurants because I don’t think the flavors are worth it. Altius blew me out of the water. Between the chef compliments, and the meals, the views, there was nothing that can be said negatively about this spot.

Attire: I would suggest ladies wear dresses and men wear collars shirts. I wore a very trendy outfit, but I wish I was dressed a little more traditional and upscale. (I wore jeans and not a dress).

“First time dining at Senti. Not a big menu to choose from, but what you do get is quality. The apps were very good to start the evening and the dinners were excellent. Nice portions and very tasty. Drinks are very good and paired nicely with dinner. We will definitely be back.”

“Had my birthday celebration on Sept 10, 2024 and was greeted by the front desk and sat us down. Our server was cheryl that evening and did an amazing job! She explained the menu and the special dishes for that evening thoroughly. She was so kind and always there when needed. We didn’t ask for bread as they would just serve another bread when it was finished. The bottle of wine was great and the food was terrific! Cheryl made our evening even more special with her attention to detail.”

“Joy was one of the best waitresses Ive had in a long time. Her bourbon knowledge was great and kept great care of us. The food menu is concise and delicious, the bourbon selection is extensive and impressive. Absolutely stunning customer service from the manager and the staff when the rain dampened the evening for us sitting outside. Extremely fair prices for a bougie downtown restaurant. Highly recommend, would come back next week, would wait 20-30mins even for a bar seat. Very nice outside covered booths as well.”

Everything I have tried has been amazingly prepared, the staff is excellent, and the atmosphere relaxed and beautiful. I'll definitely be making this a favorite dinner place!”

“I am a frequent patron of Casbah. I love the food, service and the menu selections. I will NEVER eat on your entrance patio again. If I can't get a table inside, I will go somewhere else. It was so cold on the patio, largely caused by having the air conditioning turned down so far, it was uncomfortable and unpleasant. So much so that I asked our server to see if he could get the air conditioning reduced. It literally ruined my dining experience.”

“Cool place to pick up food!

Everything is ordered from a self service kiosk! We got two of the chicken pilez, quesadillas, and smoothies. The smoothies were a little overpriced compared to other places but they were good. The food was excellent!

The staff was great. Really helpful since it was our first time their.

The atmosphere is only 3 stars but I really think it's intended to be a place you carry out from not really for dining in.

Vegetarian options: Cheese Quesadilla is really that only vegetarian option but it was really good”

“Just needed a bite to eat after a long trip across the state. The pierogi? Simple, but well prepared and plated with style. Good price, and the bar selection was great, though I did not indulge. Would and will definitely stay there and eat/drink there. A lot of whiner reviews here, but I was duly impressed and I have stayed at two others in the neighborhood and this is the best of the bunch.”

“I can’t shut up about Famous Cafe. Extremely lucky to have a place with great food, peak atmosphere, and amazing servers and baristas. Get the ice cream latte for a literal scoop of ice cream in your drink. Eggs benedict options for days (though I am stuck on the van gogh)

“I've visited Threadbare a handful of times to dine and both the service and quality has always been absolutely outstanding! You will find a large selection of great ciders and meads and a small but mighty menu of appetizers, artisanal pizzas, and salads. As far as gluten-free goes, they have a dedicated space for preparing to reduce the risk of cross-contamination which is deeply appreciated by gluten-sensitive and celiac customers. There is outdoor seating at ground level, however do be aware that indoor seating requires going up a rather long staircase.”

“This is a special place. Liege waffles are very different than anything I've ever had. They are made from a yeast dough, with caramelized brown sugar inside, smallish, and served warm in a napkin so that you can take it with you while window shopping. Please note: these are not meant to be served with ice cream on top. The ice cream and waffles are both very good by themselves. The owner only serves them together because people ask for that, but I think they ask for it because they think that's how it's meant to be served. (At least, that's what we thought!)”

“Absolutely unique small restaurant in Pittsburgh. I think they have the best submarine type sandwiches among other things in the city. Their outdoor tables are different, because it's a tiny restaurant. For six of us it was great eating outside. The restaurant is fast, convenient and the food is delicious and reasonable.

Vegetarian options: I get the shadyside hoagie it's all veggies. I'm actually a meat eater but I love the shadyside.”

I've been wanting to try Pani Puri for awhile and had this restaurant on my "want to try" list for several months, did not disappoint. They were excited to provide and educate me on the dish. Very pleasant and I recommend if you've never had before. We were informed this was opened as an answer for the most authentic Nepali food in the area; it was delicious. Will be back for momos. Vegetarian and vegan friendly but also has meat options. Thanks so much folks!!!
