“This is an interesting space. A little on the load side but service was really good. We tried a few of the smaller plates and all were very good. The chorizo iberico was tasty and worth trying, the curdo. of yellow tail sashimi with some apple and arauco olive oil was a real hit. The olive oil had a tomato and grassy flavor and really made the flavor of the yellow tail stand out. The arancini was OK, try something else. Another really big hit was the Angusto, strip lion, prefectly cook, tender and some of the best strip steak that we have had in a very long time. Hats off to the chef and the imported beef, you won't be disappointed.“
“Overall, we had a mixed experience at the restaurant. While the service was good, there were some issues with the food quality control during our visit. The burrata was delicious, and we thoroughly enjoyed the cheeseburgers. However, we were disappointed to find that the capers in the steak tartare had a moldy odor to them, and the Lobster Mac was overly salty, making it inedible. Despite these setbacks, Manager David promptly addressed the issues, which we appreciated.“
“Incredible, what felt like world-class service imo. Some of the best interaction I've had with waitstaff. Me and my 2 friends had some samples which were graciously explained and provided by someone who knows their stuff, and then we happily settled on some wines. Got to learn a bit about Italy which was unexpected but welcome! Nothing but a good time here if you're with good company, without a doubt.Do know you can bring your own food, they don't serve any here besides some pistachios :)“
“This is my third or fourth visit to the Vandal and I continue to be impressed. The service is terrific. The ambience is nice casual. There is a small careful menu. And once again for me, as on previous visits, the appetizers totally shine. Everyone of them is interesting. A bit out of the box a bit playful and just as yummy as the description. I'm not usually a big dessert person, but the toffee cake was very delicious.“
“Such a nice little spot for wine & cocktails! My friend and I stopped by on a Saturday evening and we were seated immediately. I tried the giggle water cocktail, which had gin, lemon, pear, cardamom, and prosecco. I really enjoyed it and found it to be the perfect balance of sweet and bubbly. They also serve food and some desserts but we did not try them this time. Pro tip: there are also a few parking spots across the street in a small lot reserved specifically for customers of allegheny wine mixer if you are having trouble finding parking on butler street. Overall a great spot for drinks in Lawrenceville!“
“Live music and great wine made locally from grapes harvested around the world at this boutique urban winery. Such a Pittsburgh treasure. Highly recommend that you come and check this out. Make a day, an evening, or a happy hour out of it. Well worth your time!“
“It was very clean. The lady that served us and the gentleman that cooked for us were extremely kind and helpful to my sister and I. The food was fantastic and tasted so super fresh!!! My sister came in all the way from Israel and it was our first experience here and I know that I will definitely be back!!! Thank you Cafe Eighteen!!“
“Our server Melanie was fantastic the food was amazing. I have sea bass which was the best I have had. The sashimi was out of this world. Desserts were soooo great. Brought cookies home there were so many and the lemon cheesecake was delicious. I loved the atmosphere and perfect ambience. Thank you for making our last night in Pittsburgh perfect.“
“Bar Marco has been, and remains our favorite in the city. Everything is excellent from the welcoming service, to the cocktails tailored to your tastes, to the food and the atmosphere. If you want a delicious meal and good wine, this is the place.“
“Steve and I enjoyed our Easter dinner at Senti. Chef Antonio created a very fresh Linguine Con Vongole with rapini and brought back his Pollo Valdastana, which was do flavorful with ham and fontina cheese. We enjoyed our time with Holly at the bar and talking with Franco. We just. love the welcoming atmosphere here.“
