“Look for our server, David M. Friendly, great sense of humor, provided advice on food and drinks. I wanted a Porter or a stout, and he joyfully replied “Left Hand Milk Stout!” He nailed it.“

“We didn’t have food. Stopped for a drink before a Penguins game. Our bartender Lindsay was top notch. She gave us an education on mixology. We concocted an old fashioned with High West Campfire bourbon and molasses bitters that came out as the best old fashioned I ever had. Always great experience here but Lindsay made it perfect.“
“City Winery Pittsburg is a cool place. Prices were high but we weren’t surprised. We did a wine flight, a glass of ros’e and hummus with pita for $59…The hummus was good but came with four small, burnt triangles of pita bread. We ate the four pieces and still had 3/4 of hummus left. We had to ask for more bread and it took 25 minutes for it to come out! They finally brought us four more burnt pieces- luckily they didn’t charge us extra for them. The wines were okay- nothing I’d go out of my way for. The bartender was very nice but overall it was not worth the money in my opinion. I would recommend people try it out in hopes they have a better experience. Just don’t order the hummus… or at least bring your own pita!“
“I had an absolutely fantastic time at The Puttery! The 3 courses were fun and creative, but what truly made the experience
exceptional was Linda. She was a gem from start to finish—welcoming, friendly, and super attentive. Her enthusiasm and helpfulness made everything so much more enjoyable. Whether it was offering helpful tips for the course or just her warm personality, Linda made our visit unforgettable. Highly recommend this spot, and be sure to say hi to Linda when you go—you won't regret it!“

“One of my favorite spots in Pittsburgh, let alone Lawrenceville. The food is incredible. I love their martini service and the ambiance inside. Great date night spot.
Vegetarian options: The menu has several solid vegetarian offerings and they are happy to accommodate for others (meat served on the side or removed if possible and requested)
Dietary restrictions: All staff are incredibly knowledgeable about the dishes and very communicative with the kitchen
Parking: You're parking in Lawrenceville, beware of busy weekend nights!
Wheelchair accessibility: This restaurant has a concrete ramp straight into the building and everything is all on one level. Bathrooms are very accessible“

“Stellar experience from top to bottom. The view is amazing - probably what they are most known for and it does NOT disappoint. We were not seated at the window and it did not matter (though window is better - it's all great). Our meal was amazing - I had the sea bass special and my wife had the pork chop. We also kept getting extras throughout the night - popcorn to start, an amuse-bouche mushroom "shooter", some amazing bread. All in all, this was everything we hoped for when we made the reservation. We were in town for only a few days and were spoiled by our meal here. Would absolutely go back again if we find ourselves in Pittsburgh in the future. I would recommend you use the valet service as parking anywhere nearby is a crapshoot.“

The drinks are fantastic, but the hospitality is even better. If you're looking for a cozy pub with great people and a welcoming atmosphere, this is the spot“

“Wow...what a restaurant. 3 of us were celebrating our 74th birthdays as we do annually and chose Eleven as our "special" dinner. Smart choice. Jeanne was our super server. Personable, knowledgeable, helpful. Took pictures for us. Everything you want in a good server. The food! We started with just a half dozen tiny sweet, slightly briny oysters with mignonette. We all decided on the swordfish with forbidden rice & rock shrimp risotto, smoked peppers, olives, lemon, fennel, watercress. One had the most interesting Caesar salad with the creamy dressing on the bottom and a vinaigrette over the top which you then stirred together. Best Caesar! The swordfish was moist, delicious and the risotto worked perfectly with it. Incredible combination. Two of us shared a trio of sorbets that tasted as fresh as the fruit in them. As a small token to recognize our birthdays, the restaurant served this sweet little dessert. The restaurant itself was a former ice house and has been a 2 story restaurant there for 20 years. Very nicely done with multiple rooms for small gatherings. The noise level was energetic but we were able to talk just fine. Overall an incredible experience and I highly recommend this place in you are in Pittsburgh.“

“At the time of writing this, Alta Via has an average rating of 3.7 and I cannot, for the life of me, fathom why. The food was fantastic and served quickly. The portions are generous, and the pricing for a half vs full is linear (half portion is exactly half the price) which is not typical-you’re usually charged a bit more than half in restaurants. Our service was great; Anna was attentive and took questions to help us navigate the menu. The atmosphere is just right with respect to volume and very tidy. Somehow they made the seating comfortable yet fine and all pleasing to the eye. The pricing is deeply reasonable-our meal would have been $100 if not for the wine bottle, and that’s an appetizer, four half portion entrees, and desert. The food is creative, and entrees have been crafted carefully and thoughtfully. Frankly, it’s just way too nice to be that close to a Primantis.“

“Siempre Algo is one of our favorite restaurants of all time, not just in the city. The food is always impeccable, and the service is somehow even better. The entire staff is welcoming, attentive, and kind. The environment is very hip and the music is always great. Kimber is an incredible mixologist. Whether you're seated at the bar for a drink and quick bites or at a table for a full, multi-course meal you can expect to be wow-ed at Siempre Algo! I dream about the liver pâté and O.G-eez Itz cocktail on a regular basis!“

“I found this place by accident last year and I’m really glad I did! The food is excellent and service is great! Always a good experience here. I love everything about it! Salads are fresh, wings are awesome, also love the pork chop & grits. Ribs are fantastic as well. Portions are big so I’m always taking some home to enjoy all over again!“

“Went in on a crowded, busy night, but the bartenders were immediately responsive and friendly still. They have a wide variety of drinks, and all four that two of us tried were really memorable and unique. For sure a place to return to and try the whole menu“

“I went with a group of four after experiencing terrible service at another establishment. I have to say Tako really saved the evening. The staff were fantastic! The food was tasty and the presentation was great! You can’t beat an 8p-10p happy hour! And, if you’re a fan of 90s hip hop, Tako is the spot. I enthusiastically recommend Tako!“

“Visited The Nook this morning with my wife for breakfast. We wanted to try something new, and we were pleasantly surprised. Waffles, home fries, and service were great! I didn't love the French fries. They were a little under cooked and salted. The tables were also very close togethor, but I understand.
Also, when we arrived, they told us it would be a 20-minute wait, but we got in under 10 minutes.“

“We went to G’s for our anniversary and it was an absolutely delightful experience. Great quiet and cozy atmosphere, stellar service, and incredible food and drinks. Every dish was full of flavor and the textures were all beautifully done. Even the bread basket was amazing with maple butter. It felt like a 5 star dining experience for a reasonable person. Excited to go back again soon.“

“This place is absolutely incredible! From the cool modern atmosphere (and great music) to the impeccable food with flavor so amazing I’ve never tasted anything like it before. I highly recommend the spicy meatballs as an appetizer and the baby carrots as a side dish. It was so nice being able to view the chefs cooking in the open kitchen from the dining room. Dominic our server was 10/10 and certainly added to this wonderful experience.
Can’t wait to return! :)“

“We visited Pittsburgh from Georgia and went up there on Mt. Washington via the Incline. This bar was about a block away from the Incline's upper station; it was an easy, pleasant walk even with my two small kids. Honestly we were a bit embarrassed because we were the only party with kids, and the place looked kind of far from a kids-friendly one. But our server Adrian, the hero of the night, went to the neighbor store across the street and brought us plastic cups for my kids. We were already so touched by his kindness but it was too early. Their Mac and Cheese was fantastic, and Kimchi Hot Dog was beyond perfect. (We are Korean, so we never mess up with Kimchi. So I am not joking here!) Overall, definitely an unforgettable experience at the bar. It will be the #1 place we will go back to whenever we visit Pittsburgh again!!!! Too many thanks to Adrian again!!“

“Ordered the peach bourbon and the butternut squash risotto with shrimp! My drink was speedily served and perfectly balanced with flavor. My risotto had on-point texture, with huge pieces of shrimp and delicious, thinly fried pieces of sweet potato on top for crunch! I devoured it all!
Vegetarian options: The risotto does not automatically come with meat! You can have it without, and there are several accommodations on the menu.
Dietary restrictions: First thing when ordering, the waitress asked if I had any allergies.“

“Dive bar vibe - Dark & Vintage. They're hot cheese balls were pretty good. They were not the best cheese curds that I have ever had, but they were decent. If you like your cheese curds extra cheesy, these are for you. We also got 2 burgers were which were extremely large, & cooked well done which wasn't very good. The fries were subpar and the chips were just plain generic ruffle chips -not made in house or anything. I would have loved another option to not have a side. This place was not super expensive which was cool but probably wouldn't come here again.“

“This visit was only our second time dining here (1st time with our son). Somehow it ended up being even better than the first. After raving about the halibut for weeks, my 12 year old ordered it and is literally still talking about it as I type this review. He LOVED it and ate every bite. My salmon was to die for. Every element went so well together. And my husbands steak and lobster were delicious and perfectly cooked. I had a little side salad with super tasty dressing. We ended the night with the turtle ice cream pie. Amazing!!! Our server Shari (sorry if that’s spelled incorrectly) was so funny and friendly. The service and food is so awesome. We love it here! Our only regret is that we didn’t try the coconut shrimp appetizer! Next time!“

“Stopped in today for a quick bite, The Factory is inside the Sheraton at Station Square, the open concept is pretty cool along with a dash of industrial and a pretty cool view of the monongahela river. There were only a few customers during my visit, the server was attentive. I chose a draft of Sam Adam's and the cheesesteak spring rolls. The beer was cold and the food tasted and hot....
I'm staying at the hotel for a really days so I'm sure there will be more photos to follow

“I had chosen to support a local florist for a flower arrangement for my wife on our 10th wedding anniversary. I had ordered a nice fall arrangement from Flowers in the Attic’s website to be deliverer. The arrangement was delivered on time and was beautiful. Shortly after it was delivered I received a voicemail from the owner apologizing for not having a few of the flowers that were pictured on the arrangement on the website. She had to make a few substitutions and wanted to make sure I was happy with the arrangement and had said she wanted to throw together another basket of flowers to have delivered along with my arrangement. In the voicemail she said she appreciates her online customers and wanted to make sure I was happy. I was impressed with the original arrangement and even more so with the fact she went above and beyond with a bonus arrangement. I would definitely recommend Flowers in the Attic and I would order again. Thanks so much!“
