“We go to this Melting Pot at least four times a year. Each time is a wonderful experience. Today, however, we were beyond blown away by the best service we've ever had. Hanna was our server and she truly is exceptional! She made everything perfect! The food is always tasty and plentiful. In addition, Amanda, the manager is phenomenal! I still can't figure out how she remembers us each time we come to dine. This is a testament to her customer service skills and professionalism. “My wife and I made brunch reservations and were looking forward to exploring the area. I ordered a Bistro Bloody Mary which was great, real smooth and not overly acidic like others I have had. My beloved ordered the Lavender Lemonade light and refreshing. Perfect for the summer day. She had the Eggs Benedict on toasted Wolferman's English muffin, Canadian bacon, poached egg and hollandaise garnished with chive. The Eggs Benedict is outstanding. Perfectly poached egg, the Canadian bacon delivered the right amount of salt and the hollandaise brought it all together. I enjoyed the steak and eggs with beef tenderloin tips cooked medium rare with two eggs your choice and smothered with chipotle chimichurri that is absolutely out of this world. Both of our entrees were served with twice cooked red potatoes. Baked on a bed of sea salt then smashed and lighly fried. These amazing potatoes became a star on menu. After eating one, I knew this beyond a doubt. They are lite and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. Fantastic job chef! The wait staff is attentive with their service. The chef a true professional. We spoke with the owner Greg and he was gracious enough to give us a little history and point out some things that made Bistro 19 special. I sampled a delicious buttermilk biscuit and even a touch of their signature sage and maple sausage gravy. Bistro 19 is true gem. Dinner reservations are coming soon.“

“MY friend and I went there on Saturday to celebrate our birthdays..Our server Adam was simply amazing. He patiently waited for us to decide on our drink order and went as far as to let us try the drink to see if we liked it, which we didn’t but he took it off our bill and then brought us a birthday card and wished us a happy birthday. The food was very delicious. But our main complaint comes down to Adam !! He was so fantastic and such a kind person . They truly have a rare gem in him as an employee! I hope they appreciate him because he is what makes it a truly wonderful experience there. We will definitely go back there and if we are lucky Adam will be our server.!!!“

“I am a foodie for sure and this experience was a flavor explosion!! The beets were a texture fantasy with a crunch and sweet savory home run. And the Striploin?!!!!! Filet tenderness with a better than NY strip flavor (how is it possible?). Second only to my NYC Wagyu A5 favorite. I was a little hesitant when I first saw the menu, but nothing disappointed at all! Would definitely recommend and return with friends for that steak!!! Chef Dave is a Master of flavors. Shame on me for reviewing before dessert. COME FOR THE DESSERT!! SMH. “We had täkō last night in Pittsburgh for the first time and it was SO GOOD! They had their Spookeasy pop up Halloween bar and the set up was so cool, it was pretty packed with it being Halloween weekend but it was such a cool atmosphere! We ended up getting seats at the bar and the two bartenders were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with deciding what drinks we wanted to try! The tacos.....the octopus is the BEST, chorizo was second best for me. Pictures aren't the greatest, but it's the best I got. Definitely a great time if you're feeling fancy 🍶 It's not cheap, but I'd say definitely worth it for the food, drinks, staff and just the atmosphere of it all.“

“My wife & I go to dinner with a few other couples once a month. We go down the alphabet & go to non chain restaurants. We picked Meat & Potatoes for M. This was all of our first time at the restaurant. We were seated in the side 1 table room, the service was great, it was like our own little space. My wife & I got the 2 Tomahawk steaks, bone marrow, asparagus, & shoestring fries. Everything was amazing, we all got different starters to share. We got the pig candy, all starters were great! There was not one complaint from the table, we will definitely be back. I have known the owner for a very long time, & been to his other places & been just as satisfied. GREAT JOB RICK & ALL OF YOUR STAFF!“

“As a native Pittsburgher I am embarrassed to say this was my first trip to this place ….but most certainly won’t be the last. The food, service and beverage were outstanding. “Recently moved to the area and have been giving the local pizza joints a try. Got a medium pepperoni pizza and a half hoagie. Pizza was pretty good flavor wise, could have used just a little more sauce, but loved the little pepperoni cups. Hoagie was good and a surprisingly large size for the price, i think that was probably my favorite. Seemed pretty busy when I ordered, I was on hold for a couple minutes while they took care of other customers at the counter, but they still managed to get the pizza and hoagie cooked and ready in 20 minutes!“

“Lovely spot for lunch or dinner. Large bar in the middle of the room and several tabs with various sports and news available.

Staff were virtuous and friendly with refill drinks brought out without our asking. However, both the greeter and the sever didn’t seem particularly eager or happy to be there. Not a big deal but not worth 4-5 stars either.

Try the PB Reuben it’s a good size (you won’t need a side) and delicious. The spicy Mustard brings it all together!

Other ‘bar food’ available including specialty sandwiches (this is why you come here), burgers, fries, pizza, chicken, quesadillas, etc. Everything we had was good.

Beer on tap and in bottles (or as a 100oz tower thing!).“

“We had a wonderful lunch. It had been years since we were there. Our server was so GOOD! and she was running the bar, and running tables and God only knows what else! I apologize I can’t recall her name but she was lovely. All we wanted was a beer battered fish (they offer a regular breaded version too)…. We both ordered the sandwich with ff’s and coleslaw. Now they had other sides, macaroni and cheese - soup - hush puppies, etc. not lying it was absolutely fantastic. They buttered and toasted the bun. It was so delicious! normally, I will order my fish on a plate or remove the bun, but I could not handle it. I had to eat this bun.! . We had zero complaints and the price was just really reasonable especially right now with everything else going - people in my area are charging $17 for a fish ! we highly enjoyed it thank you!“
