“Second time eating at this gem, bringing the family along. I had the tikka masala, and family had red curry, chicken quesadilla and Hawaiian stir fry. The flavors were SO delicious and everyone loved their meals. It's great they offer vegetarian protein choices and substitutes. Owners are super friendly. We can't wait to come back again!“

“North Shore Tavern is located downtown Pittsburg, a stones throw from the Pirates and Steelers fields, respectively. The hot food item at NST? Steak on a Stone. You basically cook your steak on a hot lava rock. It’s exactly like it sounds. For the sake of trying as many items as I could, I got the Surf & Turf, a filet, 3 cajun shrimp and 2 sea scallops. All came barely cooked, thus allowing me to cook it myself on the stone. Each meat slice, I sliced it, seared it to my desired temp, and voila. It was a fun experience but I can’t say I’m DYING to go back. It’s fun though, and I’m glad we tried it. Scallops and shrimp were plump and delicious. Steak cut like butter, and hand cut fries with garlic aioli and chimichurri sauce was also good. Fries were cold though, and one would think I could heat up on the stone but it didn’t quite work that way. So that was a bummer. Crab dip with pita bread was also tasty. A few shells in the dip so that’s a little deflating, but flavor wise the dip was very good. Service was great, sat at the bar first for a round of drinks and it was nice. We had a great time, can’t wait to go back to Pittsburg to try some other things.“

“We bought the Presidents Day special and had an hour to bowl, game of lazer tag, and $80 in arcade games for $80 total. We had a great time bowling and great service. We enjoyed the pretzel appetizer and fries!! Family fun for a good price!“

“W were a harmar location yesterday. We purchased a large pizza and the tray the server put the pizza on was filthy. It even had sauce smeared on it. The pizza was not cooked enough. The server was there but very unfriendly. I asked to be rated in the non bar area because I'm on crutches at this time. We were seat right beside the bar.“

“We've had breakfast, lunch, and carryout here. They do a great job with large portions, good service, and decent prices. The breakfast was good until I ordered pancakes, but they took them back when I complained they didn't taste right. The chef even came out to talk to us and gave us free desserts to take home for our trouble. Wonderful customer service in my book!“

“Wow! The Triangle Bar and Grill in Swissvale looks unassuming outside, but inside was bright and welcoming. Francisco (he told us to call him Pancho like his friends do) was so helpful as we were trying to figure out what we wanted. What a salesman too! He convinced us we'd want leftovers for our "long drive tomorrow" (his words, we told him we were from Indy ...). When we got our sandwich, it was enough to feed 10 people, easy! Indeed, we had dinner, lunch on the road the next day, another lunch the day after ... and we still had some leftover. We ordered the Original Italian Battleship. Great taste, good value. We love to support this type of small business! Give them a try - remember to bring cash only.“

“Randomly stumbled upon stinky’s on an impromptu trip to Lawrenceville. I have never heard of this place and then we pulled up yelp for restaurants close in the area and we were thrilled that we had ended up here. Their menu is so super extensive, dog friendly, amazing prices, huge portions (still eating leftovers here) And super friendly staff! The next time in the area, I’ll definitely be back!“

“If your looking for a place to go and have a few drinks; play some pool or darts, look no further. This is the place for you. Highland is a nice little hole in the wall that all the locals know and love. Not very big but bigger than it looks. It's only got one pool table and dart board, but we take turnes like good kids to use it. There a couple tables to sit and enjoy or sit at the bar and get funky with the bar. Lol it's a good time.“

Adorable Greek owner, a talker *love it*, entertained us with life experiences, cafe history, three owners over 91 years…award winning foods…the gyro, the spicy sicilian, and the Spartan (the hubby had this, fabulous), each one, separately, winners of first place, three years in a row. “What a fun little spot to stop in for a drink before & after an event. We dropped by for the 1st time b4 the Pens game (& after if course). The owner Jimmy was so gracious, so friendly to talk with. The crowd wasn't too bad (we even started taking to a few other PENs fans, that was nice) , the food was really good. So if you're looking for a good place to hang out, grab a bite & a drink be sure to stop at Shale's. I know I'll definitely be back.“

“We were there this week. Food was good. Staff and service was terrible! Waited 10 minutes for someone to come to the front desk to reload/and get new cards when we got there. this should of been our clue to walk out but it was our daughters 18th birthday and she chose to spend it at dave and busters. Played games and we decided to eat there. Went to the host desk waited for the host to even acknowledge us standing there. grabbed 2 menus didnt even ask how many was in our party just assumed and said right this way. Umm no. Thats not how you run a resturant. there was 8 of us but they were playing games while we got a table. got seated, waited a while for the waitress to come over. got ordered , food was good. Then Waited over a 1/2hr to get our check! I had to go over to the bar with the manager standing there. She says be right there, another 15 minutes goes by before she brings our check. We almost walked out 45 minutes to deliver our check. The staff all just talking away behind the bar not paying any attention to their guests. They had plenty of staff. I couldnt blame it on being busy and under staffed. We won't go back. Thanks for the disappointing birthday gathering.“

“I absolutely love coming here, I’ve been here with a friend and with my fiancé and both times we had amazing service and the food is phenomenal, and it doesn’t mess with my stomach at all whatsoever like most restaurants do! I live almost an hour away but I still am more than willing to make the drive and definitely will be coming back soon :)“
