Food was bar’ish. Apparently there are 2 kitchens on the premises, or at least is what we were told, so depending on what you order, the food will arrive at different times. Half of the people at our table finished eating while the other half was still waiting on their food. Beer was good, it’s hard to mess that up.
Loved this place! Perfect for a show at PPG or when staying at the Marriott. Drinks were cheap, lots of selections, and excellent bar food menu. We had a pierogi basket- wowww just awesome! So flavorful, pillowy and perfect. Dough, butter, mashed potatoes, Parmesan, and grilled onion- what else could you want! They did say they would be open after the show and were closed before 1030 but it was a Sunday so I get it! Seems awesome for football games or hockey games too.

First time at Café Fifth Ave for food and drinks before Penguins game. We got there at 1:16pm the place wasn’t to packed and our server Clara was phenomenal.She did an amazing job sending our food order to kitchen and checking on us every 8-14mins.I ordered Italian hoagie and it was delicious.Overall• Bathroom upstairs 3.5 stars• Food was 4 stars• Severs 5 stars due to short staffing they were really hustling.Thanks again!
