“Looking for that truly special restaurant? Spork in Garfield is it! I can't stop thinking about our experience at this chef-led restaurant. This isn't just a restaurant, it's a culinary experience. What sets this place apart is the farm to table ingredients and truly special preparations; which creates dishes that are so dynamic and interesting. The team works with small producers, grows some of their own produce + herbs, and mills their own grain for house made bread. My favorite sip was the "So Long Frankie Louise" cocktail and my favorite bite was the homemade bread roll. When you get a reservation here expect out of this world food & service plus:- Truly great alcohol free options including mocktails, zero proof beer & wine Surprise bites throughout your meal.- Lots of choice & small plates - great for the table to try a little of a variety of dishes.- This is such a unique spot to book for that special occasion.Definitely go hungry and be prepared to be well nourished!“

The dish was elevated with a drizzle of rich and flavorful maple syrup, making for a truly unforgettable culinary experience. In addition to the chicken and waffles, I also had the pleasure of trying the avocado toast, which was a fresh and healthy take on a classic breakfast staple. This includes three 9 hole courses that you can play as many times as you choose. We also took advantage of the food and drinks. Drinks are allowed on the course and each hole has a stand for you to rest your drinks while you putt. For dinner I had the appetizer, potato flautas, and my husband had the BBQ bacon burger. Each were delightful. The decor on the courses and throughout the building was so much fun. I really enjoyed the different seating selections for dining as well. Linda was the host for the Garage course the day we were there. She was super sweet and seemed to love her job so much! The staff is very attentive, and we lacked nothing but the end of the night. The food was delicious with attractive presentations. A unique drink menu leaving for something to explore. Very nice decor and ambiance. A charge to be seated at a table near the stage, which is perfect for date night or something more cozy. Though a bit tight, the clientele fit the atmosphere, so it doesn't feel as tight. For more solo nights, still a comfortable scene. As well bar seating is available that still has visibility to the stage if you don't want to be completely in the mix. Recommended experience!“

“We (couple) had a great dinner at Bridges & Bourbon. The service and atmosphere were great. We booked a day-of reservation and could only get in for dinner at 8:45pm but we didn't mind terribly. It was the St Patrick's Day parade that day so perhaps was busier than normal. We started with the shrimp and salad, both were good but not amazing. I had the smash burger and my partner had the streak - the mains were great. We ended with the tiramisu cheesecake, not what I was expecting (it was in a small ramekin) and more of a mousse than a cheesecake, but it was a nice light sweet to end our meal. I don't drink but the cocktails they were making looked very cool. On the pricier side but for a special night out I think it's justifiable!“

Some other places around the Burgh have Nashville Hot Chicken but the spice combinations don't work. At Gordo's the Nashville Hot Chicken Taco is so good with a perfect spice blend. It tastes like hot chicken tacos that I had at Pie Town Tacos in Nashville. Gordo's is the place in Pittsburgh to satisfy your hot chicken craving. “I came here with a friend for the first time on a Thursday night. The place was pretty crowded, but we got seated right away in the back by the bar. My friend has been here many times over the years and said the back bar area is pretty new. We ordered an appetizer of chicken dumplings and they were really good. We also each ordered a cocktail. The cocktails were okay. I got the Bramble On and it tasted kind of watered down and flavorless. My friend ordered the Toki Plum Sour and said it was just okay. For our meals, I got the spicy fire chicken with glass noodles and a seaweed salad. My friend got the Korean fried chicken with glass noodles, Napa cabbage kimchi and diakon raddish kimchi. Both of the proteins were so good! Cooked perfectly and came out hot. The seaweed salad was okay as well as the Napa cabbage kimchi. The daikon reddish kimchi was delicious though! Overall, a good experience. The service was pretty quick. We were in and out in about an hour bc we had a show to catch. If I went back, I just wouldn't order a drink next time.“

“Good food, great service, a streamlined breakfast diner experience through and through. The biscuits and gravy were delicious and our server, Phillip, was friendly and helpful. This was our last stop before leaving Pittsburgh and it left a good impression.“

“Loved this spot. A very chill vibe! No rush. Husband & I came thru for sharables twice & absolutely loved it ((thereby visiting twice lol)). The first time we were there, we had: Steamed buns-- oh so freaking good; Dakgangjeong which are Korean rice cakes-- although I thoroughly relished it, I can see this being a hit/miss for someone; reg fries. The food was bomb! The server/bartender was great! Very pleasant.Decided to come back a week later ((last night)) for sharables& ordered: Steamed buns AGAIN; Strips & Fries basket-- exchanged the fries for Cajun ones with their d@mn fabulous garlic aioli. If you haven't tried their Garlic Aoili, please do so immediately! The chicken was crunchy, as were the fries. Service was great from the same the man& woman. They were very engaged with customers, like they knew everyone. Didn't ignore anyone. Overall phenomenal experience second time around! This is one of bookmarked spots for sure. Will try entrees next time.“

“Nice bar with a dj, and a small dance floor. The place is cool, and the music makes you want to dance. The beer and drink selection is good with a neat combo menu (beer and a shot) on the wall. The only negative is that it is small, so on weekends it is normally packed. Overall, good place though.“
