“Second time eating at this gem, bringing the family along. I had the tikka masala, and family had red curry, chicken quesadilla and Hawaiian stir fry. The flavors were SO delicious and everyone loved their meals. It's great they offer vegetarian protein choices and substitutes. Owners are super friendly. We can't wait to come back again!“

This neighborhood situated near the strip district adjacent to the city center is awesome, loads of great bars and restaurant's and I found a gem that serves some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. Yesterday I tried Tepache Fox Chapel. The menu was very creative with authentic dishes from around the world. I tried the birria tacos. They were perfect! "A Jalisco staple. Quick-fried chipotle-corn tortilla stuffed with beef slow-marinated in chile de árbol and cinnamon, topped with raw onion, cilantro, melted queso Oaxaca. Served with lime and consomé broth for dipping." Yes they even came with console broth!!!!! The drink menu was also very creative! Great service and as we know a beautiful restaurant!“

“We frequent this place often - great food, good vibes, and fast service. There is plenty of seating at the bar and the tables at both the front and back of the restaurant. Never had nopal (cactus) before? Give it a try - it’s delicious! And if you like some heat, the homemade salsa that comes with the tacos is fire - literally! Just wash it down with a margarita or mezcal cocktail. You can’t go wrong here.“

“Just popped in here this morning and I’m so glad I did! My spouse and I both ordered the steak breakfast burritos, and they were absolutely delicious. Every bite was a treat. My spouse ordered coffee, which was really good, and I tried their atole— which was perfectly sweet and very comforting. The staff made the experience even better with their welcoming, genuinely friendly service that made us feel right at home. Honestly, it’s a 15/10 experience all around. Don’t miss out on this gem!“

“This was a fun taco joint to enjoy with prices and portions allowing you to try a variety of flavors. I was surprised how much I liked all our choices, but the Salmon and the Mahi Mahi were my favorites. I recommend walking a block and you can see the Pittsburgh city line and sports stadiums from the overlook.

Overall really nice mexican food in the area. Intense, sharp flavors. Tacos were packed.

Prices were a little higher than i expected. Paid 16 dollars for 3x a la carte items, but perhaps that’s the deal these days

Lately it feels like the restaurant has gotten a little greedy — prices are rising, quality is falling, and the drinks are just not the same! Used to love coming here on a Friday for the margarona special but my last 3 visits the quality had significantly declined and i just don’t want to come as often anymore… I hope things can improve and this can become a regular spot for me again“

“I came here 2.5 years ago, but at the time it was wonderful. The restaurant itself is beautiful, with a pleasant, warm ambience and decoration. We were seated up top at the very corner, and had a nice view of the entire place. You can get a little forgotten if you're tucked away there on a busy day, but it's really not a problem.

I was surprised at how tender the octopus was in the 'tako' tacos, and how fresh the other accoutrement were, pairing together to make one delicious, albeit strange, taco. Everything we tried was great.“

“I LOVE this place. I am so mad they closed the other locations. The staff here is nice and they give you a good portion of food. I always get a bowl and I never leave hungry. Sometimes they have to wrap the bowl with cyran wrap so it doesn't come apart. Also, the food tastes so good. They have NEVER gotten my mobile order wrong . I can't say the same for the other popular competitor that.

Vegetarian options: You pick and choose what you want in the food. So you can just NOT add meat to any option.“

“I got chilaquiles the other day, I think it’ll be better if you use the tortillas or the tortilla soup for the chilaquiles, the salsa was sweet, the beans super watery and the rice was so salty I couldn’t eat them. On the other hand I’ve had the veggie tacos and they are very good but I’ve found pieces of ground beef which was very unpleasant but I’d be willing to try them again“

We then ordered the torta ahogada (a typical sandwich from Guadalajara) and the street tacos-all good. We finished the meal with fresh strong coffee and a flavorful tres leches.
