“Definitely vegetarian friendly, which is often difficult to find in Pittsburgh. We appreciated the variety of vegetarian options … BBQ Mushroom with Rajas, Buffalo Cauliflower, and Sweet Potato tacos were delicious ?Vegetarian options: Mushroom, Cauliflower, Sweet Potato options for tacos, burritos, bowls, quesadillas, and salads“
“It was a great place for dinner. With a decent amount of vegetarian options, the place had a nice selection of appetizers and entrees to choose from. The drinks menu was also quite nice with some unique drinks. The quantity of the food was really niceBetween 2 of us, we ordered 1 nachos, 1 burrito, 1 pair of tacos and 2 drinks. Quite enjoyed and look forward to having their churros once“
“The wife and I are always looking for a new place to try pretty much each week. I've been seeing so many reviews, we had to check the place out.I have to say, I agree with everyone else. The food is excellent ?.The menu is simple which I love and everything I've had I love and will be back for more.I've always wanted to try Mofongo, so that was a no brainer. I went with what others were raving about and got the Pernil?? I am not much of a pulled pork guy but this stuff is the bomb!!Can't wait to go back. They also have a large seating area.We played games while we waited and they were free.“
“They have best tacos I ever had. I went here for first time and believe me, this is my favourite from now.I ordered chicken quesadillas, Hard tacos with rice and beans, with overload veggies. Was so so so delicious.I had another soft tacos by their recommendation. It was also good. And 3 leach is fabulous.Highly Highly Recommended.“
“love this place so much. I've been coming for years and always have a great time. the food is always amazing, quick and hot. the staff is so friendly and always willing to help. the bartender phy is the best. ask her for a tequila recommendation and you'll never be disappointed.“
“5 stars all the way. I'm vegetarian and my server recommended the mushroom taco. OMG. It was crispy oyster mushrooms with the precise amount of heat. I also go the baha fish taco and subbed potato for the fish. The potato was so crispy I thought they messed up my order and gave me fish. It was awesome, I can't wait to enjoy it again! I can't remember my servers name, but she was great too!“
“This place is awesome. The Tacos and Quesadillas are hands down the best I've had in the area. Also, The Staff is incredible. I'm just thankful I live right down the street and can come here often. Thanks guys for offering up delicious food every day.“
“We order chorizo tacos and burritos from California Tacos. The food is consistently good and full of flavor. The chicken would be a better choice for those who are sensitive to heat. They provide fresh lime slices for the tacos, which is great! Pay cash and avoid the service fee. Love this establishment!“
“Quirky location, but that only makes it better. Definitely worth the visit. Afteryour first, round two will definitely be on your mind. Also, where else can you get tacos, a sixer, scratchers, and a redballs all in the same spot? Do it! Do it! Do it! ?“
“I tend to enjoy menus that encourage you to build your own entrees, so that's a plus here. Good ingredients served on sustainable-ware.Huge windows but faces a parking lot.Vegetarian options: The tofu was crisp and tasty! Lots of sauce and condiments combinations to keep things seasoned.“
“About a month ago my wife and I were looking for another restaurant which was closed but we drove by this joint so I called at 5:30 on a Friday night and was told they were 100% booked all night. So, I had to investigate. This is a small place with only about 12 tables and a very small bar, I think a 4 seater. We had the greens and beans with sausage. This version had both spinach and escarole and was a solid 4. Our two entrees were the veal and peppers and veal scaloppini both very similar. The veal was cooked perfectly and the the mushrooms were plentiful in the delicious gravy. The portion size was not small but not enormous, my bride was the only one with leftovers. However the coconut cream pie was enormous and amazingly and a true 5! The service was spot on and BYOB. Would highly recommend and return!“
“Too good couldn't take a picture until I was done! Got the chicken quesadilla and it was moist and delicious! Only complaint is it didn't come with salsa on the side! After I ordered I noticed you could add some for 25cents but then the line was too long too get any! It was a huge amount and very filling!“
“Helpful and patient staff. Food quality is consistent. It is very easy to feel full quickly, so do not over order. My wife and I are members of the 'year of yum' promotion. We always make additional purchases to accompany the free tacos as thank you to support the establishment.Parking: Paid street parking nearby. Paid parking garage nearby.“
“If you like Mexican food and are in downtown Pittsburgh, make it a point to stop at this restaurant. The place itself has a wonderfully cozy ambience. Ordered the black and gold burrito. It may have a hometown name but it is wonderfully authentic all the way down to the mole sauce and queso dip. Just really flavorful delicious! Definitely going to be back.“
“Yallah restaurant is located in the food court of Ross Park Mall. The menu lists foods such as nachos, burritos, fajitas, quesadillas, rice bowls, and tacos. The prices are reasonable. My husband and I ordered a burrito, which was very large and fresh, tortilla chips with queso, which tasted very cheesy, and a mango drink, which tasted very sweet. The cashier and cook did a good job.“
“Solid little food truck for Mediterranean meals. Essentially everything is made in house (although, I’m not sure about the bread/tortilla/pita). I tried the tandoori chicken wrap as well as a dessert wrap. The tandoori chicken wrap was good. A bit small maybe, but still solid. The chicken itself is nicely spiced; it is definitely flavorful, maybe even a bit too spicy for me. Good texture, well cooked. I asked for mine without lettuce. The tomatoes were juicy and very good as well. There’s nothing really special about the bread. Just average. The sauce was good as well, nice kick. The dessert pita was interesting. It had a lot of nuts, bit of coconut, Nutella, chocolate spread, and maybe a few other things as well. Kind of a random concoction of sweet items in a tortilla. It’s good, and I really liked the Nutella especially. But, a bit odd and the tortilla tasted somewhat stale. All in all, a solid spot. Decent prices, okay portions. Quality halal food that’s made by the owner.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian options for bowls and wraps, desserts as well“
“Honestly I’m a bigger fan of their vibe and drinks than food. It’s a fun place to hang out with friends and drinks are great. Food is just okay in my opinion. I’m not a big fan of these type of tacos and menu is very limited otherwise.“
“I ordered chips and guacamole and a southwest midwest taco. The guac was the best I’ve personally ever had, and the chips were delicious as well. The taco was amazing. You can tell the ingredients are very fresh. The service was great as well, and I loved all of the artwork on the walls. Will be returning when I visit Pittsburgh again!!“
“My second attendance. A great place to start the afternoon. Friendly, polite, hospitable. and endearing. The afternoon patrons are all friends that stop by to pay their respect to each other and the staff. I've received welcoming reception during both visits; literally from all--staff, owners, and patrons. Handshakes, warm embraces, kind words, and thoughtful appreciation for my attendance is always shared. So glad my friend/frat brother invited me. I will go again, again, again, and again!“
“Yes, I said it. Tako Torta 100% worth the money. The food is incredible at a great price. So I was pretty skeptical of the place because Tako's tacos are over $20+~ per order (but they're still really good). I tried their tortas this round and they're worth it. When I first looked at them, I thought they were small. No, it's 100% the perfect size. The tortas are heavy, so they are quite packed.I ended up trying their queso and chips, too. They may have one of the better queso and chips in the area.Churros are great too.I won't hesitate to come back. Their tacos may be expensive and amazing, but their tortas are even better and at reasonable price point.“
“Our small group visited The Urban Tap yesterday on ECarson St. Unbeknownst to me, this spot turned into my engagement proposal!!! The vibe, the staff, the atmosphere, the FOOD… omg it was PERFECT!!! The owner/manager stopped by our table to congratulate us with shots & champagne! ?The sweet server/bartender videoed the proposal and sent it to us.I am over the moon at the kindness & accommodations everyone made to surprise me!!!Thank you. This will forever be “our spot” “
“I'm struggling to review this place. The street corn was delicious. The tacos were very good. The bartender was great. Unfortunately, the chips and salsa were terrible, that street corn was stupidly expensive, and our order was screwed up 2 ways. And if you're a beer nerd, you'll find that, like many restaurants, they have something like 16 taps that they have wasted on whatever the distributor wants to give them. Luckily, they had Head Hunter. So, I'd recommend checking it out, and I'd go back and try again because the food was really good, and I could imagine really enjoying the place.“
“They have pretty good hard and soft shell tacos or you can get a soft taco around a crunchy taco as well. The various options a big chicken fish although I didn't see any shrimp to the best of my knowledge and would be a great addition. If you did get shrimp make sure you grill it as well as some people on Shore like it fried. Another suggestion would be putting the sauces and cremas and guacamole on the bottom. This way it doesn't go everywhere when you bite into it. It's probably our third time here this time we had the Pollo smoked taco which was pretty good. Also had the shaved prime rib but it was a little dry and it was more chopped not shaved. Also had the fish taco that was fried it wasn't too bad but I think if you'd sear it blackened Cajun or something on those lines would be a little bit more moist and flavorful.Vegetarian options: To have multiple vegetarian optionsDietary restrictions: Can work with most dietary restrictionsParking: Ample parkingKid-friendliness: Good kid friendly itemsWheelchair accessibility: Is wheelchair accessible“
“Stopped at this location for the first time. It wasn’t very busy so we didn’t have to wait long. I had a michelada which was tasty and reasonably priced. I also got a bean, rice, and cheese burrito. It was good but nothing to write home about, and they weren’t very generous with the add-ons.“
“A new favorite. The wife and I got put on to this place by the kids. Everything here is freshly made and you can see them making everything right there. Burritos and tacos are great and the Fries and Cheese are the best ??Parking: Usually plenty of street parking but you may have to go up, down and around due to all the various one way streets.“
“I came to this location for my friends bachelorette party and have never been so impressed! We had a large group that they easily accommodated for. The staff was so welcoming and personable.. shoutout to Evan our waiter! Clean location and DELICIOUS food. Eric (manager) was also such a big help and made sure we had everything we needed for a great experience! Would definitely recommend.“
“This was our first time at Steel Mill and we will be going back. We were hosting our friends from NY so we wanted a relaxed atmosphere with a view. The hostess was willing to seat us upstairs to catch the city view. They were accommodating for one in our party that couldn't eat meat with multiple options. The food was so tasty and our waitress was excellent. She was accommodating, friendly, and attentive. Definitely will eat there again.“
“Maaannnnn when I tell u I been waiting all summer for the Street Corn!!!! I absolutely mean it!!! I have went to other places to try it out and I mean NOBODY have hit that spot like they have!!! I went last Friday and I ordered 3 and jus sat in the car and didn’t have a care in the world!!! Sooo good!!!“
“We went here with our son and his wife, who live in the area. From the moment we walked in, my stomach was growling from the delicious scent of smoked meats! From the many delectable-sounding choices, I finally chose the pork taco and an apple chicken taco. Wow! The first bite had a kickback of spice that I wasn't expecting, but as I got used to it, I loved it! Oftentimes, spice overrides flavor, but this time, the pork was so tasty that everything blended well! Unfortunately, I didn't get to taste the chicken one I ordered because I was too full. I took it back and ended up forgetting it in my son's fridge. Oh well! My daughter-in-law had recommended it and will enjoy it. We'll just have to go back next time we visit.“
“The food I get from cuddly's is always amazing! Love the wings, the banana pudding is great, max and cheese is to die for...honestly I don't think I've had anything bad from here! Cuddy's has the kid of food that is comforting and makes a bad day not so bad.“
“I love this little gem of a place. A small menu of all delicious, moderately prices items. My favorite is the braised beef taco, although all of their tacos are delicious. Pair with a delicious Mexican beer, simple margarita or another gourmet tequila cocktail.“
“I come from a Mexican family in California, so when I moved to Pittsburgh, I was deeply disappointed at the lack of good, authentic Mexican food. When I found this place, I rejoiced! The food is amazing: made with the authentic basics in mind, yet refined with originality. It really feels like home in all the best ways.“
