This place has very good Mexican food. We're from the Southwest where good Mexican food is easy to find. Finding good Mexican food here has been a challenge. I had the rellenos with chicken, my husband had alambres pollo and both of us were very impressed. The chicken had been marinated & cooked on cast iron before being put inside my relleno which was egg washed and fried! It had amazing layers of flavor. The pico was fresh and crispy. I always enjoy Las Velas. It is a go-to for Friday lunches and happy hour. With a unique view of Market Square, friendly service, solid food, and a wide selection of tequila, it is a Downtown favorite to tourists and locals alike.

This wonderful restaurant in Market Square is a perfect place to go for happy hour and Tex-Mex eats. I really liked the sizzling steak fajitas and the freshly cooked vegetables on the side. Margaritas are awesome too. 9/10 joint.
