“I frequent this restaurant often. I came in last week and requested a few items substituted on my salad due to dietary restrictions. Toi ensured that my food came out correctly and didn’t make it seem like I was asking for too much (unlike serves in the past)! Now that’s GREAT service! She also is hilarious and she is a ball of energy! I will be back soon, and I only want Toi as a server moving forward! Thank you again, Toi!“

Hop Farm Brewing Company Brewery • $
5601 Butler St, Pittsburgh

“It is easy to miss but in the cultural eclectic North Side it is a great place to hang out. With complimentary pool tables and darts and a nice mix of eclectic beers and rustic simple tables it is the epitome of laid-back cool! Whether you're here with family or friends and want to kick back for a couple of hours, I can't imagine you'd find a better place in Pittsburgh to do it. And though we didn't indulge ,from what I saw the food looked like it would be very good also!“

Back Alley Brewing Company Brewery •
2975 W Liberty Ave, Pittsburgh

“Back Alley Brewing is a very nice little brewery. We hosted my wife's 40th birthday party there and it was the perfect space for about 30 people. I think you could have up to 40 somewhat comfortably. The beers were really good. I'm not an IPA guy so I had the coffee stout and the lager; both very good! I highly recommend this place to have a few beers or to have a get-together.“

“We were there for Parade day. It was absolutely wonderful!!
I think they could have make more money or create an even better experience if they had servers . The line for beer was just way to long. Because of the line. We only had 2 beers and normally we have many more than that. Still, we had a wonderful time and the crowd was so polite .“

East End Brewing - Pop up Beer Garden Brewery •

“Great little spot for river front dining/drinking. Yes it’s open-air concept so plan accordingly. We love east end brewery and often check to see which food truck is visiting. It’s a great way to support a local business and take advantage of that part of the river trail. Pittsburgh needs more spots like this. Great place to gather with a group of friends.“

Late Addition Brewing + Blending Brewery •
847 Western Ave, Pittsburgh

“I was a vendor in distress during the draft. Malcolm (military trained-Late Addition) & Devlin (from Live Fresh) were so chivalrous, caring & concerned as a local community business. Malcolm & Devlin collaborated & helped a female street vendor who was being harassed(I stayed calm throughout the harassment). Late Addition collaborated with Live Fresh to provide a spot for my GridIron Swag vendor carts, they made sure I was safe & helped me with my needs. I set up in front of their establishments. With the harassment, heat & sun, focusing on resolution of the harassment (no water). I fainted & threw up. Malcolm brought me into Late Addition’s cool atmosphere, took my pulse & helped keep me calm. He noticed I was in distress and called an ambulance (I was transported to AGH). Crystal, who was helping me was still trying to focus on customers wanting to purchase. Devlin from Live Fresh helped Crystal move my u haul van, load up all my products & secured the van. These guys were so attentive to a female, vendor in distress. They were my Guarding Big Business Brother’s. I was so fortunate to have people with hearts, standards, morals & ethics to be around me at that time. This has could have gone so differently especially with my health. The outside emotional induced stress along with the strenuous physical labor, heat and distraction from drinking water could have resulted in a much more serious diagnosis. I owe these guys/businesses. I was invited to vend there for the next 2 days if I needed it. The next day I did try Live Fresh’s energy bowl & green goddess drink-FABULOUS. Later for dinner I got a chicken sandwich with slaw from Late Addition-DELICIOUS and it topped my evening off with a delicious pulled chicken sandwich so I didn’t have to cook. YOU HAVE GOT TO TRY THE EXPERIENCE OF LATE ADDITION & LIVE FRESH. Everything about these businesses is off the charts.“

“Such a great place to drink, eat, or chill. Inside or outside depending on how crowded it is or the weather, it will still be a great time. Their vegan pepperoni pizza is my favorite vegan pizza in town, with driftwood being a solid second. If theres a double IPA on tap get it. Never dissapointed. The parking sitch can be weird, but i think you can figure it out, just park on highland if you're worried.“
