“Came in tonight on my birthday. John was working and he was great! So friendly, answered all of our questions, we came in a bit later and he did not rush us. We had such a great time and chatted with John a bit. There are so many bars out there but the set up was special, and so was the service. Beer drinkers, you will love the selection, others will enjoy the hard liquor available, but everyone will enjoy the ambiance and friendly service you'll get when going to whistle and keg! “Who knew you could drink beer in church? They have great beers, with a good selection of pilsners - a welcome change for those of us who aren't into IPAs. My brother was also a fan of the stout. Plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors. Music is good, and the whole vibe is welcoming and inclusive. Business has zero tolerance for haters, racists, and bigots.“
“Real cool spot to stop in for a drink or some lunch, I didn’t have any of the beer but we all ordered food and it was GOOD! Small menu that we were told changes weekly and their website updates with the new food options. Big on the inside with plenty of seating but some of the seating is a tad bit awkward, we first sat at a high top table and it was weird the chairs are normal but the table was low so you have to be leaned over so we moved to the bar and also got a similar feel but not nearly as bad. Loved the bar tender she was good just a little overwhelmed she definitely could have use some help that Saturday but she did amazingly non the less! Definitely worth popping in for some suds and a bite.“
“We had our wedding here and everything was absolutely perfect. Cat, Eric, and their staff are some of the best around. Everyone was so helpful, so nice, and they didn’t miss one detail. The food was delicious. People are still talking about the food! What an absolute gem we have in Youngstown with this venue. The building itself is so pretty and historical. Highly recommend the B&O Station for your events!“

“We liked the food in the past this time however the jambalaya was way too spicy...I also ordered sautéed green beans which were sautéed in garlic which is fine however the green beans were COATED in garlic which actually looked like a coating on them... until you took a bite!So this time my husband ordered the jambalaya and ordered it low spice which was perfect!!! He said perfect amount of spice....I ordered the baby back ribs with the sweeter root beer sauce and they were very tasty..... our server holli could not have been nicer came back just the right amount of times and was on point!!! Big shout out to her!!!“
