A group of 10 Preservation-minded friends went for dinner last night at the John Woods House. Delightful all the way around! Food was superb, lots of choices. The host last night was the owner, so we got extra details about the history of this amazing 1790s home! How grateful we all were that this nearly 240 year old home has been restored and serves a new purpose in the Hazelwood community! Reservations would be advised for a group like ours. A charming local Pub!I'm a bit biased as I live in the neighborhood (which another reviewer stated was not very nice - I may differ on that.)Full bar with a small draft selection. There are vegetarian options on the menu for those who need them, beyond the typical salads.
