“Fantastic lunch spot. You can build your own bowl with all the options for grain, protein, veggies, and toppings. Portion was large and not too pricey. Service was quick and friendly. They even gave me a rewards card (buy 10 bowls get one free) so in case I needed any more incentive to come back, I now have it. My only tip would be to arrive after the noon lunch rush. I went around 1 and had no wait, but one day a few weeks ago I stuck my head in at 12 and it was packed.“
“Hidden Vietnamese food in a shopping plaza in Wexford!! Recently, I found out that Little Viet Kitchen is the owner's second location up north! The other eatery is Banh Mi and Ti in Lawrenceville. They have the exact menu! The food is out of this world. The protein is flavorful and come in a variety of ways to eat. They have deli pork, beef, chicken, pork belly, marinated pork and vegetarian options. You can pair the protein in a sandwich, rice bowl or dry rice noodle bowl! The Banh Mi is a french baguette filled with marinated meat, pickled veggies and sauce, which is the perfect combination of savory and spices. I tried the Drunken Beef Banh Mi and I could not get enough of it. The beef is slightly sweet but mixes well with the sauce and fresh veggies. I also tried the Pork n Roll (sweet marinated pork with 5 spice) in a rice bowl! The portion was small but enough for a meal. Definitely on the sweeter side, but the pickled carrots, cucumber and tomato cut the sweetness. They also offer pho and a variety of drinks. I had the mint lemonade, which could have had more lemon flavor, but had fresh mint leaves too! The ambiance is casual. And this location is strictly take out. No tables inside at all. Plenty of parking in the plaza. Prices are fair. Looking forward to many more meals! tldr food 5/5 service 4.5/5 ambiance 4/5“
“My wife and I paid a visit today. First time there. I ordered teriyaki chicken poke with brown rice, the Hawaiian classic with white rice and the Honolulu salmon poke with white rice. A strawberry green tea, a peach green tea. All small. Everything was absolutely excellent. Everything was fresh, prepared quickly and accurately. Only complaint, the teenie bopper music they had playing. I will be back. Keep it up!!“
“What a gem! So glad we can get Vietnamese egg coffee in Pittsburgh! The milk tea here is also incredible. He uses fresh mangos for the mango matcha and it is SO good. You can taste the freshness and quality in all his drinks. The owner is super friendly. Really hoping this place takes off!“
“The Pork Banh Mi is so refreshingly fresh and tasty! Their vermicelli bowls are on the smaller side, but tasty. I’m usually in for a tea, and occasionally treat myself to a Banh Mi.Needless to say, thanks to the food and the ladies who run this place, I’m a regular!“
“I think what sets this restaurant apart from the other Thai restaurants is that they serve brunch, and the food is a little more "home style" than the other Thai restaurants in Pittsburgh. The restaurant is a little less curry-forward than the others. That means they have a bunch of stir fry options that are quite good. They have plenty protein and veggie-balanced options that the others don't have. The biggest standout on the menu is their milo drink. Milo is a popular Southeast Asian chocolate drink that the kids will drink to fulfill nutrient requirements, but it tastes good (unlike Ovaltine). Tooktook uses the powder and makes a giant drink in-house. The drink brings many positive childhood memories.Parking: Parallel parking“
“As a person who isn't fond of Boba Bubbles ( texture issue ), it's still a very good beverage option. My fiancée absolutely loves Kung fu tea & we make a stop every time we are in the area. The variety of drinks keeps it fun & interesting. Highly recommend using the app before planning a visit because making up your mind doesn't come quick lol.“
“The server lady seemed to dim down the moment the tip didn’t satisfy. The food was oaky and the selection wasn’t that great at least the day I went. The atmosphere inside is fine but sketch outside. The noodles are more expensive than they should “
“Exceptional flavors and creative dishes! The fusion of Asian cuisines here is truly remarkable. Each dish is a delightful journey of taste and texture. Definitely a memorable Easter take-out experience. Highly recommend! The crispy eggplant and fried eggplant with cow horn pepper dish were my absolute favorites and more than likely going to be my must haves every time from Yoka Kitchen moving forward now! ?Thank you for cooking my Easter dinner! ??“
“I was in Pittsburgh for one night and came here twice! I had the coconut milk tea and I loved it. The drink was amazing, the people were so nice, and the inside of the shop was so cute and bright and clean! I loved coming here and I can't wait to come back. I really recommend the coconut milk tea! “
“My favorite bubble tea in the city! Staff are efficient and friendly. The boba pearls are always fresh. I'm so happy that they offer soy and oat milk too~ They are always busy for a reason! Their seasonal menus are very fun and I like that there is always a wide variety to choose from. I really like that they are providing reusable bags with takeout orders now.Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian, many options made vegan!Dietary restrictions: Multiple options for non-dairy!“
“I always order the sweet and spicy chicken from here and the takoyaki and taro milk tea with boba and it's always delicious. I usually order for delivery so I haven't actually been to the restaurant in person but every time I get their food it's so good and it usually doesn't take very long for it to be ready either.“
“had a great time with friends and met lots of cool people!! cool energy!! took really cool pictures with friends with the neon sign! would recommend to people around campuses to meet new friends!ps: the closing song was a bop and really unexpected and the people i met there were singing it!“
“Attached to the Uptown Pizza and Wings restaurant and located close to Downtown Pittsburgh, Uptown Cafe & Boba features boba, jelly tea, espresso, and desserts in a cozy environment.Pros:• Priced generously: Only $5 for a 24oz portion of boba milk tea.• Great flavor on all menu items. Featuring La Prima coffee — yum!• Open late: Uptown Cafe & Boba is open until 12:45am for pick-up, delivery, and dining in.• Nice atmosphere: Clean and spacious interior with plenty of seats. Free WiFi for customers.• Friendly staff.Cons:• The quality of the tapioca pearls is slightly disappointing; they tend to crumble in the mouth.Overall, while I can't say that this is my favorite boba tea spot in Pittsburgh, I can highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap, late-night fix of their favorite drink. This store is a welcome presence in Uptown and I will be visiting again soon!“
“Awesome bakery with lots of unique and delicious items! They aren’t just a bakery with sweet treats, but also serve boba, dumplings, and some sort of shaved ice I believe. It’s an awesome place. I tried the egg tarts, cream puffs, and crispy pineapple buns. The egg tarts were quite tasty. Not too strong of a flavor and relatively light, for an egg tart. They are small and perfect for a quick dessert. Nothing too crazy, but simple and tasty. The pineapple bun unfortunately didn’t have any real pieces of pineapple on it. But, it was still very good. The dough itself is very soft, fluffy, and airy. It is not heavy by any means. The top is crispy and sugary, but the bun itself doesn’t have a ton of flavor. There’s something in the middle but it’s not too discernible. Still, quite tasty. Finally, the cream puff. This was huge and delicious! It was filled with tons of cream, which was surprisingly not too sweet, and more buttery, almost. The dough is also tasty, similar to that of the bun. I’d highly recommend this. All in all, this is an amazing bakery in Mt. Lebo, and one of the few Asian bakeries near the city. Great menu, solid prices, lots of variety. Check it out!Kid-friendliness: Lots of sweet treats for kids“
