Though the restaurant is average in size they more than make it up with outstanding (yes using that word again) authentic Chinese cuisine!!!!!

They also have traditional menu items that will blow you away..... don't believe me......try their super sized egg rolls!!!!!!

When busy the restaurant is a beehive of activity but the staff handles it all with the grace elegance and precision of Ballroom Dancing!

By virtue of Chinatown Inn's constantly being crowded obviously they are doing something right and I completely concur!

“China Taste restaurant serves foods such as egg rolls, wontons, hot and sour soup, fried rice, bean curd, beef lo mein, egg foo young, sweet and sour chicken, roast pork, and shrimp chow mein. Prices are reasonable.

I purchased three entrees, the broccoli with garlic sauce, hunan shrimp, and kung pao shrimp. The cook quickly made my foods. I thought that these foods tasted very good.“

“Everytime I order the same thing. Each time. Each time it is wrong. Just check your order Everytime before pick up. I had faith itd be right each time because it's so simple and I order all the time but just check your food because yes it is delicious but it is not what I ordered. If I wanted rock hard crunchy broccoli, I would have went out in the garden and ate some with ranch dressing. What you get is what you get. No remakes. :)“

“I've only had takeout from this restaurant, but it is my favorite takeout in the area. Food is always hot and flavorful. Pork fried rice contains generous portions of very flavorful pork. Vegetable eggrolls are excellent! Capital chicken is the shared favorite between my husband and I. They are fast, reliable, and have never let me down!“

The buffet was a little over $14.00 and plus a tip puts you at $17+...do not come here for the buffet is the lesson here...everything was basic, veggie lo-mein, oily plain fried rice, rice noodles, string beans...ect ect. Everything you would find as expected at a buffet. They did have one pretty authentic tomatoes and egg dish I haven't had since I was a kid in Taiwan. Other than that everything else was ok.“

“Very nice restaurant. Service was great. Food could’ve been a bit better. I ordered the orange chicken with white rice no spice. The chicken didn’t have much flavor yet was drenched in sauce. I usually love their sauce but this Sesame Inn compared to the one in Mt Lebo isn’t as good. Had the pork eggroll it was delicious and had loads of flavor especially with the duck sauce. Still may go back just try a different dish.“

“My husband and I took our son out for some good food and when I tell you this restaurant understood the assignment they totally get an A+! We ordered the Singapore noodle combination, egg soup, Rangoon, shrimp egg rolls, beef and broccoli with fried rice and sweet and sour chicken with steamed white rice. The shrimp egg rolls are good just don’t count the shrimp (haha) but still it was delicious! The server was on point the chef made our dinner with care the staff was just amazing we also ate inside at a clean table covered with white linen. Everything was just perfect this place is a hidden gem I’m so glad we found I literally want to eat dinner there again tonight! Family of 3 full meals with 2 adult Long Island drinks $98 well worth every dollar!“

“Taipei is by far the best sushi and Chinese restaurant in the Fox Chapel area. The servers are courteous and the specialty sushi rolls are noticeabley larger and tastier than Jimmy Wan's. In my opinion, Taipei also offers a better selection than Jimmy Wan's. We also appreciate Taipei's complimentary fried wontons served before each meal and orange slices provided at the end of service. This family-friendly restaurant always make us feel at home.“

“I came here to try the peking duck and I have got to say it was one of the best I have had in the area so far. I got the full duck, skin and meat (I have been to some places that only give you part of a duck and hardly any skin) not only that but I got plenty of pancakes, green onion, cucumber, and hoisin. There was easily enough for 4 meals, since I was eating alone.It only took about 30 minutes for them to prepare the duck which is pretty good and average for this kind of meal. The service was great, I am sad I wasn't able to dine in but I definitely understand.Next time I am in the area I am definitely returning not only to get the peking duck but to try more of the meal. “I got their Yo milk boba tea today and I highly recommend and would recommend all of my friends here! The boba is chewy and soft, not hard like other stores. “This was such great food they have the best shrimp toast I ever had in my life. Once you eat their shrimp toast you will not like anyone elses. I really wish I knew how to make it. I ordered off one of the food apps for delivery I think it was uber eats a few times, and everything I have had from you guys was really good!“
