Taipei is by far the best sushi and Chinese restaurant in the Fox Chapel area. The servers are courteous and the specialty sushi rolls are noticeabley larger and tastier than Jimmy Wan's located down the street. In my opinion, Taipei also offers a better selection than Jimmy Wan's. We also appreciate Taipei's complimentary fried wontons served before each meal and orange slices provided at the end of service. A family favorite of ours. We have eaten here many times and love the food, but also the consistently excellent service and hospitality always makes it nice to eat here. Very large menu, everything always tastes fresh.

We picked up an entree to share and were definitely satisfied. It's pricier than what I normally go for but the portion justifies it; one person could probably get two or three meals out of it. And a hearty amount of sauce meant I had some leftovers to cook with later in the week.My main quibble is that the sesame chicken's breading did not stand up to that much sauce on the ride home, so it wasn't contributing much to the taste or texture.
