Food is so good and reasonably priced. They have a menu of adventurous Chinese food and American Chinese food so you can come for the fun but bring your aunt that only eats fried rice.

Chengdu Gourmet offers very authentic Chinese food that is not made to please Americans. The taste of the food is very authentic and the environment is good. Service staff is very friendly, attentive and kind. The restaurant is a spot where Chinese people go and the sign can be hard to read, but inside the set‑up is very classy, nice and bright. The renovation is fantastic, bright, clean and welcoming with a calming yet energetic vibe. The decor feels fresh and thoughtful. The menu is packed with many authentic items. Dishes such as 夫妻肺片, 酸汤肥牛, 空心菜, Dan Dan Noodles, cumin beef, scallion pancakes and wok’d green beans are served with fresh, tender meat and fresh veggies. Flavors are very nice, spicy level can be regular or a little more heat. Large portions are ready fast and correct, worth the cost. Service is very fast, nice and friendly, perfect for a relaxed fine dining night out or family dinner. The scallion pancakes are the best, with incredibly tasty garlic sauce. Overall the experience is great, authentic and delicious, and the restaurant is highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience authentic Chinese food. The price is right and the service staff is decent. The Chinese menu is better than the American menu.
