“This is the best “Americanized” Chinese food I’ve had in this area. Their chicken is either all white meat (specified on the menu) or you can request all white meat if you like. It’s always identifiable as whole pieces of meat as opposed to some places where you get pulverized bits that may once have been chicken. Their veggie egg rolls are the biggest and best around. The filling is fresh and usually still a bit crisp as you would expect from actual vegetables. Favorites: lo mein, veggie egg rolls, orange beef, sesame chicken, amazing chicken, garlic string beans.“

“This is the only legitimate spot to go in the near vicinity. This is what American Chinese is supposed to be.
I have had most of the menu at this point and some of my favorites are their egg rolls, moo shu beef, lo mein, sesame and general tsos chicken but have yet to be disappointed by anything.
The sushi is a step down for their standard of quality but still decent.
If you need further validation, just look at all the one star reviews from the entitled brats of the world. When you’re good at what you do you don’t have to tolerate entitled people’s nonsense. Absolutely love this place“

“Hands down the best in the area. Food is fresh, generous servings, clean and pleasant to sit down and relax for a great meal. Takeout never disappoints too.“

“Food is so good and reasonably priced. They have a menu of adventurous Chinese food and American Chinese food so you can come for the fun but bring your aunt that only eats fried rice.“

“Worth the drive!! I have three Chinese places closer but the food is so good I don't mind the drive. The salt and pepper chicken or tofu are the finest I have had anywhere. I tried the old standard Mu Shu Pork and it was perfect. This is a little gem of a place.“

“stopped for lunch after reading good reviews and it was a good choice.. Crab Rangoon was delicious ( and the whole reason i went, at first i was thrown they were in triangle shape and not the traditional way i was used to; but oh my were they tasty and i think i like this shape better for eating, The sesame chicken and fried rice tasted way better than i ever expected for takeout. ( My coworker was so impressed with his sample he stole off plate) Wonton soup was the best take out soup i have had in a long time. My entire office is now excited to order from here.. I will be making this a regular place to eat. When i picked up the order everyone was nice and friendly. i had more than enough sauce and did not have to ask for extra.“

“As are a lot of food establishments in this mall, they're aggressive with passing out samples. That said, if you're curious about another item, they're happy to let you try it. Their orange chicken is delicious and their portions are large enough to split. Everything was fresh and great quality.“

“I enjoyed the eggplant chicken here and even though mine was served a little spicier than I had hoped, they offered to replace it without my needing to ask. They just saw my face turning red a gave me some cold water to drink. Sadly, their standard in most food prep is to use large presliced, brined garlic - not the best. Other reviewers have commented on this. Their food would be absolutely amazing if they used fresh, unbleached garlic! It was, nonetheless, pretty delicious and a great lunch value!“

“Largely a run of the mill American style Chinese restaurant, but the quality of the food puts it above many local contemporaries. Everything I have ordered has been hot and well made, with ample portions for the prices. The restaurant itself was closed for dining for a number of years due to the pandemic, and it's still not a place I'd dine in at, since the dining room is pretty dingy and outdated, and basically seems like an afterthought for the aforementioned takeout business, which always seems quite busy. The service is pleasant, but seems a touch understaffed for demand, so expect your order will likely take longer than the the average Chinese takeout place, and you may be waiting a bit longer than the initial prediction. But for the overall enjoyability of the food, it seems worth it. Definitely a decent takeout option for the area.“

“Ordered takeout here for the first time tonight. We ordered some staple dishes and we were told 30 minutes to prepare. I arrived at 30 minutes on the dot with the order waiting. In and out, no complaints. There are tables to dine in, but it's a small strip mall style restaurant so capacity is probably not more than 30 or so.
The chicken on a stick was flavorful, grilled well and not dried out as it tends to get at some places. Initially I didn't think much of the wonton soup. The broth tasted very thin from what I'm used to, but eventually it took on a very prevalent ginger flavor and I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. There was very little other than broth and wontons though, only a few slivers of green onion.
The Mongolian beef was very good flavor-wise and peppery, which is how I like it, but the sauce was watery. I don't know if they forgot the cornstarch or what happened. Next time I come here I intend to try their "Hot Spicy Beef" whatever that is...
The General Tso's was excellent, again with a very pronounced white pepper flavor which sets it apart from others I've had in the area. Also not very sweet, which was appreciated. The sauce was sticky without being cloying. I would definitely come back for this and would recommend it to any connoisseurs of General Tso's.
The pork fried rice and chicken lo mein were both satisfactory no-frills Chinese takeout. I would have liked a little more depth of flavor in both, but Lin's Garden has me spoiled there.
All in all, a great little spot to add to the rotation. I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent flavors of the main courses. I'm excited to try a few of the other standards and see how they measure up.“

“My family is a huge fan of chinese foos and have lived in the butler/cranberry area our whole lives. This place is BY FAR the best chinese food around. You don't realize other places are doing it wrong until you've ordered from here.“

“Very nice restaurant. Service was great. Food could’ve been a bit better. I ordered the orange chicken with white rice no spice. The chicken didn’t have much flavor yet was drenched in sauce. I usually love their sauce but this Sesame Inn compared to the one in Mt Lebo isn’t as good. Had the pork eggroll it was delicious and had loads of flavor especially with the duck sauce. Still may go back just try a different dish.“

“Ate here yesterday and loved it. Food was absolutely delicious. I had Moo Goo Gai Pan and it was perfect. Others at the table had Pad Thai that was really good, and the General Tso's chicken, which was amazing. Just a heads up, it is a more traditional version of Tso's chicken, so it is spicy, but taste is super good. Atmosphere is very simple. Restaurant was clean. Highly recommended.“

“Classic comfort American-style Chinese food. We did a take out of crab rangoon (10 out of 10), beef with hunan spicy sauce (9 out of 10), and orange chicken (7.5 out of 10). Great service, generous portion, and so worth it for the price!“

Been eating there for longer than I can remember and the General will always hit the spot.BONUS if you tip well they will be at your door in like 15 20 tops happy to greet you.“

“I went out to buy groceries and Chan's Tea House was in the Westview Plaza. I just moved to PA and had not found a Chinese restaurant yet. I found one now! I had a combination plate for $14.95. The wonton soup was excellent. My server told me it is their most popular soup.“

“We had a birthday dinner here. I had the Shrimp Teriyaki and an egg roll the food was just ok other people had raved about. The teriyaki overpowered everything on the oven heated plate. The egg roll was cold 🥶 and not right out of the fryer. I did try a Japanese made Whiskey 🥃 and a Sapporo beer. The meal and drinks were about 35.00. The Wasabi was deadly

“Our first time ordering from here. Food was delicious!! Although, one of the orders was not correct. My wife ordered a Hunan beef meal, which was supposed to include fried rice and roti. Instead of receiving roti, she received an order of white rice…. which means she received two orders of rice!! She was not happy and we did not receive what we paid for.“
