“Pittsburgh rarely disappoints when it comes to Asian food. Senyai is no different. Visited Senyai for dinner with my family. The ambiance and staff are welcoming. We sat in the dining room, which is a cozy setting. We would like to try the patio seating next time. The food was really good. We ordered some dumplings, tom kha soup and fired calamari, which are our family favorites. Dumplings were good. However, the calamari was a bit overcooked. Kids liked their Pad Medamamuang. I ordered ped krob (thai spicy) and loved it. My wife ordered tom yum (thai spicy) and loved it as well. We loved the fact that the portion sizes are not too big. Overall it was good experience. We will definitely come back.“
“Such an awesome restaurant. Had a great experience. The Taiwanese beef noodle soup was fantastic. Same with the wonton soup; never had better wontons. We also got beef fried rice and string bean chicken. All of it was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. Thanks for the great lunch!“
“I come with my husband for lunch. We always get the lunch special and he LOVES the soup that comes with it. I adore the Tum Yum veggie soup. The summer roll is so fresh and the crab app is crispy and always hot. It’s a family owned business so that just makes it even better. You can’t go wrong with anything you get. Try the Musaman curry with beef. The owner is so sweet and that’s what keeps my husband and I coming back for more.“
“Had the kung pao chicken dumpling and the shrimp tempura. The tempura batter was nice and crispy but unlike the Japanese tempura batter but still very tasty. The dumplings were soft and the filling was spicy and umami. It went with the dipping sauce well.“
“Never had Ramen from here and figured I'd try it. All my friends raved about it and they were right. Delicious. Service was excellent and the price was right. Will definitely be back!!!Update: another delicious bowl of Ramen, but I sure wish they would sell their T-shirts!!!“
“Fresh house-made noodles and soup dumplings! Pardon the presentation in the pictures, we got our food to go. Very good assortment of flavors that were filling. We had three different noodle dishes, plus the tofu app, cucumber app, and soup dumplings. All the items tasted fresh and light, no gummy or overly sweet sauces, just very well seasoned meals. Pickled cucumber gets a special call out - nice spicy kick to it. There is nothing quite like fresh noodles, and this is one of the few places that still provides them. Worth the wait, I highly recommend!“
“Small mom and pop Taiwanese restaurant. The owners are very kind and welcoming. Despite always my always ordering in Chinese, they are always ready to take an order in English. The food offered is an expansive menu of Taiwanese classic cuisine and even some combo options. The food is always fresh, delicious and made to order! They are very accommodating to dietary restrictions and preferences. If you have questions or concerns, just ask!“
“This is hands down the best Thai restaurant in the Dormont/Mt. Lebanon area. Quick delivery, tasty food.I’m a big fan of spicy Basil Leaf with beef and their Tom Yum soup with chicken (appetizer size), but they make a lot of great dishes. My wife loves the Pad Thai with tofu, Crab Rangoons and bubble tea.If you have a cold, try the Tom Yum Noodle Soup Bowl with chicken (dinner portion). You get the broth and chicken separate from the noodles and veggies so nothing is soggy, and there’s easily enough for 2-3 massive bowls of soup — especially if you order extra meat or veggies. A life saver when you’re sick.“
“Food was ok, nothing special. Place wasn’t too busy on a weekday night when I went. I felt like the amount of food I got was small for what I paid.Vegetarian options: Fair amount of options available! Can always ask for food made without meat as well.“
“Food is great, and the ingredients are all fresh and amazing. great price for quality ?. service is prompt, and i accidentally left my cream soda ?? but it wasn't that big of a deal bc the price was fair :) ($3)Zen ramen was great, and the meat was nice and tender ?“
“I loved this place so much, and I find myself often thinking about their food when I'm hungry. I just wish they weren't exclusively in the mall since I just find it awkward to venture there to grab their food. Even writing this is making me hungry for the noodle there, I just can't get enough of this place! The workers are always friendly and the service is wonderful. More people should give their little shop a try, and I'm regretful I hadn't tried them sooner.“
“Came here for late dinner after arriving in Pittsburg - surprisingly good and authentic Chinese food prepared by a local. We had the onion pepper beef, pan fried dumpling, sautéed string beans and Taiwanese sausage fried rice and the dishes were all delicious. Portions were pretty big and we even had leftovers for breakfast. Atmosphere is casual.“
“Love it. Very quaint and welcoming atmosphere. My best friend used to dine here in the 90s with her grandparents and was always a favorite ❤️ Last year, we decided to make Chan’s Tea House an annual tradition every year when she visits from out out of town. Delicious food and wonderful service. The Bubble Tea is such a bonus!! We will return.“
“I just had this place for the first time and I am so impressed! Not only were the staff incredibly kind, but the food was so delicious too! Excited to have found this place close to my apartment and can’t wait to become a regular.Vegetarian options: Really yummy tofu! Even my boyfriend, who doesn’t usually like tofu, kept stealing mine because he liked it so much.“
“It's fine. It's also open late, a rarity in this city. Be warned that parking is hard as hell (serious). I took an illegal spot behind a factory and took a walk to get there. The service was fine for me, but that is as always ;). I was looking desperately for a potent soup, and fortunately Ocha serves typical Thai soups in smalls, larges, and extra large noodle soups. I took the noodle soup with some spring rolls. The spring rolls are great. My 5/5 tom yum was a little spicy but enough to help with my cough and clear my sinuses. I enjoy the interior. Yes, it is hot, but it's also cold outside. I will return to see the specials of the chef. The pricing isn't all cheap but it can be worth it considering they have dine-in at late hours.Parking: No parking is typically available. If you are lucky, you can park somewhere on the street within 5 walking minutes. I found a spot behind a business about a 7 minute walk away.Kid-friendliness: Nothing explicit for children. In fact, it plays wonderful modern Thai music with heavy bass.Wheelchair accessibility: It's street level. No stairs involved. Should be simple for wheelchair users. However, there are constant plates on the sidewalk.“
“This was the first time I’ve been to Noodlehead and will definitely be going back soon, whether it’s to eat in or just order takeout. The Pad Thai was soo amazing and definitely the best I’ve had, and it’s a great price. I can’t wait to get it again and try other noodles also. Love that it’s BYOB as well!“
