As a person with a strict gluten free diet, I loved being able to find a restaurant that not only offered gluten free items but items that could be made gluten free! Everything I have tried has been amazingly prepared, the staff is excellent, and the atmosphere relaxed and beautiful. I'll definitely be making this a favorite dinner place!“

“First time here and was pleasantly surprised. I think I was expecting an old school Pittsburgh restaurant experience, but it was a beautiful space and the service and food were wonderful. The manager came over twice to check on us, and everyone wished my dining partner "Happy Birthday," and we got a complementary dessert. The food was simple, but everything was delicious and fresh and we loved the cocktails too. Will definitely go back.“

“We went to Eddie V's to celebrate our 29th wedding anniversary. The food, service, and ambiance were outstanding! The lobster bisque was so delicious! “Took my mother to Roland's today for seafood stew, which was amazing, but our waitress, ***DAWN***, was even more amazing. Something so very special about her that heals your heart of pain you didnt even know you had! and just by taking your order and serving your meal, she does this. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly,.. Employees refuse other customers money that offered to help a child's get wings with his order of fries that he wanted. Al's gave the child a complete meal...No kids meal menu listed..

“I love Red Lobster..I've been there several times and the serviceis always good..I see they improved on the biscuits because gorba while they were dry and bland..the old taste is back..that's good..but I was disappointed that my favorite Sea Side Shrimp trio is no longer on the menu..neither is the Lobster Bisque...PLZ BRING THEM BACK..

“So, Red Lobster in Pleasant Hills was clean and had a menu with many options. I chose the shrimp skewers and added a scallop one. They were tasty. I added a side of Brussel sprouts. They were delicious. The biscuits were good. The baked potato was done well. All of the staff were friendly . It’s worth a return visit to try the Salmon Bowl or maybe the flounder.“

“Can I just say that our experience at Capital Grilr was top notch and sets this restaurant light years apart from not only Pittsburgh restaurants that are not fine dining and are more casual, BUT also other high end restaurants in the area as well! From the very beginning, we called to confirm our ressies and Olivia was so kind as our host, assuring us they would make our son, Max's 16th birthday memorable! ? Then we had Jay (sp?). Shout out to Jay for being so warm and friendly and not only cleared our table and filling our water glasses but he was willing to take some awesome photos of our fam celebrating the birthday boy's 16th b-day!? He even hardly grazed my hubby's arm with with a straw and despite my husband telling him he totally didn't need to, he took the time to go and get him another straw for his drink!? Now that's service at it's best, despite us not being germaphobes and not thinking twice about the arm graze. Last but not least, our waiter itself was CARLO and let me just say, he did not disappoint. Carlo not only met our every need and was back often to check on us, BUT he even anticipated every plate needing to be cleared, (which you don't see much since Covid) and also kept refilling our drinks and even my two boys house made lemonades! He didn't even need to ask, he just knew and would bring out more! He made excellent suggestions and wasn't the slightest bit bothered with a request of extra ice or horseradish on the side for our steaks. Best waiter we have had in over a decade and I am not exaggerating! Thank you Carlos and we will be sure to request you the next time we are in. We are on a tight budget, but love the idea of extra special occasions, such as birthdays or anniversaries eating at this top notch establishment. Capital Grille is hands down the best steak house in the ‘Burgh and believe me there are a lot of them these days. I would say their customer service is what stands out most and we are picky on kindness of waitstaff!?“

“My wife & I had a wonderful anniversary dinner here! My wife had the all you can eat crab legs, which were delicious, always warm & fresh with super fast service every time our waitress saw she needed more! For $80, you really can’t beat it! And I had the apple bleu flatbread which is very filling and very delicious, a nice sweet and savory combo. Our waitress Maddie was absolutely wonderful. She was extremely personable and really cared about our experience. She was quick to take care of any need we had & made sure we felt welcome. She even took the time to take our picture in front of the amazing view! The staff seemed to really enjoy their job & their customers. We will definitely be back!“

“Food was amazing! My husband and I had the shrimp which were large and deveined! I had the filet mignon very good and the potatoes were not overcooked. Asparagus was good but too large for my taste. The only negative was the waitress…. very intrusive, in your face when talking, asking too many questions about my earrings, and her cologne was way too strong it made us want to change seats but we stayed.“

“It's hard to find a good fried fish sandwich but this is definitely my new place! The fish was flakey and the breading was crisp! This place takes care when packing fried food to go. Gently wrapped in paper so it doesn't get soggy. Everything had such great flavor! We added perch and catfish to our meals and they was outstanding! Thank you for the great food and service!“

“Whenever someone in Pittsburgh needs some kind of high quality fish, I think that Robert Wholey and Co. Inc. is the first place that they would think of.
This company has been around this area for 112 years as of the day of this review. They have been around the Pittsburgh area for a long time.
Though they are known for their kinds of Meat, Poultry, and Fish products, they have a lot more. It even has a model train, a bronze pig, and many different animatronics. They also have a whole restaurant of its own, with many different seafood related food. They have things ranging from a Crab Burger, to a Macaroni and Cheese made with Lobster.
I highly recommend Robert Wholey's market for you to visit.“

“I've loved this place for a long time but haven't been since the pandemic. It seems to be the same experience, which is mostly a good thing. My ginger chicken is amazing every time and the family owned business is very friendly. However, this is definitely one of those places that lie about how long the food will be ready. I was told 15-20 minutes over the phone. I took my time knowing in the past they took a while. I walked in 40 minutes after calling and it still wasn't ready. It actually wasn't ready until an hour later. Id rather they just be honest about the time. If you keep this in mind and call ahead you will have a solid experience, because the food is actually worth the wait in my opinion.“

After raving about the halibut for weeks, my 12 year old ordered it and is literally still talking about it as I type this review. He LOVED it and ate every bite. My salmon was to die for. Every element went so well together. And my husbands steak and lobster were delicious and perfectly cooked. I had a little side salad with super tasty dressing. “I have too many words to share to describe this establishment. Tonight was my first experience dining here, after a day date with my boyfriend we decided we were in the mood for hibachi. The first mistake we made was driving from Robinson to Carnegie to dine at Benihana‘s. Within thirty minutes of being there, we left (but that’s another story) Unsatisfied and still very hungry, we decided to stop in at Sapporo’s. They didn’t open until 4:30 (at this time it was 4PM) and noticing the website says reservations only, I called to make sure it was okay we dine in. The man on the phone said what time can you be here and I informed him we were already in the parking lot. He told me “I’ll see you in thirty minutes” The moment we walked in we already knew we made the right decision. The table we sat at was full of kind people. Everyone was talking, sharing stories, laughing etc. it literally felt like we were sitting at the dinner table with FAMILY. The chef came out who happens to be the owner. A one man show, and boy did he kill it! The food was so fresh. I had the filet and scallops and it was cooked to perfection. Not only did he make a great meal. He shares stories himself, took the time to actually enjoy our company and show his appreciation that we were there. He must be the sweetest man I’ve ever met. His wife was very pleasant as well! The waitress was so accommodating and very on top of things with her being the only one there. I honestly think this is the longest review I ever made… I could go on and on but long story short, you will NOT be disappointed with Sapporos.! Living nearly 5 minutes away, this will be our forever date night spot!“

“I've only had takeout from this restaurant, but it is my favorite takeout in the area. Food is always hot and flavorful. Pork fried rice contains generous portions of very flavorful pork. Vegetable eggrolls are excellent! Capital chicken is the shared favorite between my husband and I. They are fast, reliable, and have never let me down!“

We started with cocktails at the bar (one unique and one classic, both excellent) then dinner in the dining area and finished with dessert and coffee back at the bar to listen to the jazz trio. Service in all areas (including the hostess and valet attendant) was sincerely friendly and excellent. If you’re Persian/Iranian, you’ll love their special pizza, which will take you back home. They also have flavorful traditional dishes, and their Ayran is a must-try.“
