Scoglio's USC is a favorite dining place with a wide variety of menu items and daily specials. The food is exceptional, with items cooked to perfection. The best chicken Romano in the city is served here, and the chicken Valdosta and chicken parmesan are legendary. Appetizers like the mushrooms stuffed with Crab Imperial are a treat. The breaded pork chop is massive, the size of a buffet dinner plate, and the fried zucchini is excellent with a light coating, though some noted it could be thicker. The Chocolate Mousse cake is very lite with just the right amount of sweetness. Service is terrific, with staff on top of everything and very courteous, even accommodating a large group of ages 2 to 75. Seating is comfortable but can be a little noisy, and reservations are recommended for packed Saturday nights. The care taken to cook, present, and serve customers is unmatched. Scoglio's is a great choice for a date night or any special occasion.
