Eddie Merlot's offers a great dining experience for special occasions with fine food and gorgeous art deco decor. The service is excellent, and the ambiance is top-notch. The food is very good and a good value for the quality, featuring dishes like the sweet & spicy shrimp appetizer and crab cakes. The staff is accommodating, with waitstaff like Scott and Mindo being attentive and welcoming. While some dishes like the escargot and steak were excellent, there were some minor issues with service accuracy. Overall, a nice restaurant with great options and value, especially during the Prime Dine deal. Many customers have noted the incredible quality of the food and have had wonderful experiences, making it a go-to steakhouse in Pittsburgh. Celebrations here are memorable, with decorations and free desserts adding a special touch to the dining experience. The music volume could be lower for a more comfortable dining experience.
