Rose Tea Cafe Reviews
Fun and refreshing teas! Got the oolong cheezo and it was so good! And the Taiwanese cold noodles were perfect
I order the salt and pepper chicken from here probably twice a month. The portion sizes are huge for the price, usually lasts me two meals.
I LOVE Rose Tea Cafe. It is such a great place to grab a quick bite just off of campus, and the turnaround for the food is quite reasonable. I have been an embarrassing number of times and I often get the beef hot pepper over rice dish as well as a milk tea. You are not allowed to eat inside, so be prepared to take your food back to work or eat out on the street, but the food and portions are great especially considering how reasonably-priced they are.

Rose Tea Cafe is a favorite spot for affordable and comforting Taiwanese food near CMU. The flavors are great, with fresh ingredients and a healthy feel. Portions are fairly big and offer good value, with many noting the generous size for the price. Popular dishes include the Taiwanese sausage over rice, fried pork chop over rice, eggplant with basil, chicken with Chinese hot pepper over rice, and the eggplant and meat dish. Many meals come with pleasant surprises like braised pork or a tea egg. It is also considered one of the best places for boba, with recommendations for the jasmine green tea and passionfruit tea. The service is fast and the people are friendly. Customers report consistently yummy food and a responsible approach to allergens, making it a reliable weekly takeout choice.
