“Small Starbucks with a few tables. It was early in the morning on a Saturday so it was quite empty and no line but I can imagine that in busier times there will be a wait. Two baristas were behind the counter and they were nice and professional. There is plenty of parking at this location.“
“I just recently moved here from Florida. I stop in here a few times as I can on my way to work. The staff is very friendly, but one in particular is my favorite. Her name is Abby. She remembers my name even though I’m not what you would call a regular. She is the most helpful when it comes to using the app and making sure you are getting all the points you can. I will most definitely continue to come to this location in hopes of seeing Abby ❤️“
“Stopped in tonight about an hour before close. Typically, I’m just a plain black coffee drinker but recently I’ve been wanting to branch out and try something new. The only problem is the coffee menu might as well be foreign to me. Connor and another very friendly staff went above and beyond to educate me on all different types of beans and roasts. So thoughtful of them to take an extra minute out of their day and explain the coffee world to me. They made a suggestion on a coffee to try which I took them up on and it was wonderful. I will definitely be back and be sure to recommend all my friends in the Pittsburgh area to give this Starbucks a try. Again 10/10 Service above and beyond!“
“Cater was so seriously so helpful, so kind, and so sweet. He helped me better under the menu and how to order. After not caring for my first drink he remade a new one for me that was everything I needed. Great experience, thank you again Cater!“
“Got a breakfast sandwich, and it wasn't what I thought. Unsure if it was potatoes in the breakfast burrito or wjat, but it just didn't settle well.My mom got a dragon fruit something or other drink, and she was disappointed, thought it was a “
“I visited here on 5-31-23 at 2:19 PM. My check was # 686856. I was extremely impressed with the politeness of the staff from the person who took my order to the person who handed me my order. My questions were answered. The person checked whether there was a grilled cheese sandwich available. My question about the Tr Mango Df Lem sizing was answered and ordered. Great customer service! Delicious food. Much better than their neighbors at Dunkin!“
“Leaving an immediate review because the woman taking orders at the drive-thru 1/15/24 around 11am is an absolute queen who made my day! She was extremely positive and joyful and even put a silly spin on my name which was adorable. I already texted my best friend to tell her about my experience. That employee is a beautiful soul- I hope management can figure out the employee name and give her credit because she is fantastic! Also, the man who took my payment and gave me my coffee was also very kind. Thanks for a great experience today! ? “
“I have two Starbucks equidistant from me, and this is one of them. While I typically go to the other one in East Liberty, I sometimes come here to change it up. This one works a little bit slower than the other. Sometimes the drinks aren't really that consistent, and I typically get the same thing. This one has some space with tables, but it's not a huge space. Overall, not a bad Starbucks. Does one actually exist?“
“I've never been a fan of Starbucks but the tall brunette barista made me a blond coffee with 2 shots of blonde espresso that none of the Starbucks in my area can replicate. She was very friendly and made your company another customer..“
“Cute little Starbucks located in a school building. The baristas here were very helpful and sweet. I bought the Iced Lavender Matcha with Oatmilk drink they were advertising and I ended up not liking the taste very much. I asked if I could get them to make me a different drink and I'd even pay again if I had to and they made me the Sanrio Keroppi drink they had free of charge. It was delicious! ? Thank you! ♡“
“This coffee shop has plenty of seating options for studying or reading or visiting someone; it's not a tiny Starbucks that you cram into. However, it is VERY busy in the mornings. We didn't realize they prioritized all mobile orders over in person orders, so we had to wait 15 minutes for our drinks even though there was only one other person in line with us. But, they were working hard to get all the orders out and our drinks were delicious!“
“This location is AMAZING!!! The view is spectacular! The service is probably the best I’ve ever had at a Starbucks. I thought they were brand new and had just opened because it was so clean and nice. And the Store Manager was wonderful!! I had an issue purchasing a cup and she came right over and helped with the situation. Most managers would just sit there and not bother to help or get involved. And she was in the middle of a meeting!! Now that’s service!!!!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR BEING GREAT!Parking: It is literally right on the river! Tons of parking!! And they offer overflow parking as well!!!Wheelchair accessibility: They are wheelchair accessible with both a concrete ramp and sitting areas too, inside and outside.“
“I'm not a "Starbucks person". Or at least, I didn't used to be. But then again, I also didn't used to be a "Yelp person" either -- people sometimes change over the course of a decade or two. (To put it in perspective, the last time I was in Seattle, I used the Wifi on my iPod at the Pike's Place location to find an artisinal, locally owned coffeeshop, and posted to that effect on Facebook... and I've since deleted Facebook.) Anyways... while it's not the best place to post up with a laptop... they were always quick and polite to *me*. Five stars.“
“Thank you Kierra (hope I spelled it right), my bus was delayed and I needed the restroom, something in my stomach and a place to hangout until my next bus came! She was nothing but caring, respectful and let me know that even if I didn't buy nothing I was still welcome since I was spending my last few dollars to my name. She's definitely a wonderful beautiful person who puts other needs before herself in a public view which is someone that every company needs ??-Harli Yednak“
“Love this place! So glad they recently re-opened, missed them in the pandemic but totally understood. Light, pleasant, clean place with all that Starbucks offers, run by very lovely people. On nice days, they put umbrellas and tables outside, across from the pretty little park. Good music, warm meals or cold snacks, fresh coffee of course, and my favorite iced Matcha tea. Indoors, very comfortable seating, choice of either tall counter or soft chairs and tables. Near Duquesne University. This is a gem in towntown Pgh.“
“This Starbucks is located inside Target at South Hills Village. They also have another one in the main foyer of the mall on the ground floor. Both of them sell usually the same items whether you want coffee, cappuccinos, lattes, or caramel macchiato which tends to be one of their most popular flavors. In addition you can purchase cold brews, hot chocolates, tea, and other cold beverages. You can also purchase from their bakery. if you are visiting the one in the mall you have a better selection since you can also purchase breakfast and lunch there. They also sell stainless steel cups hot beverage tumblers and special cups devoted to them. I was visiting here because I wanted to purchase a bag of decaffeinated Christmas blend which is seasonal and hard to find. Spotting one I scooped it up and ask the barista to grind it for me. Normally they come in whole beans but they will grind it for you for free. It smells so fresh and you can almost taste the notes. Starbucks is a very popular chain and does get crowded all day. It certainly is worth the visit!“
“Most Starbucks involve a bunch of waiting and annoying atmosphere but not here, no sir! *This* Starbucks is for "the businessman on the go", if you catch my drift. Express Starbucks, that's the idea here. Quick and efficient, and you have access to a long, cushy, unclean couch! Pretty epic. There's a table for business meetings and it's in a business building, so you know the only business that ISN'T going on here is monkey business!!!!!“
“Love this Starbucks. It's very convenient (especially in winter) and accessible for the folks who work at Steel Tower. Friendly staff and fast service. Ever since the Starbucks in Omni William Penn closed, this has become the go to place for coffee for folks who work in and around this area.“
“Paul (I believe that was his name?! Red hair and Brittish accent) was an absolute delight!!! He honestly made my day and has a sincere gift for spreading joy and is just so interesting and entertaining! If he doesn't get a raise he should get a spotlight on a stage somewhere. Absolutely wonderful personality :). Thank you!!!“
“Reasons why I like to visit this specific location while in the city determines the mentality of where I’m going at currently throughout the day. Specifically reasons why I enjoy coming here is because it’s a place of study for educational purposes. Education is the most important thing for the youth today.Kid-friendliness: This specific Starbucks reminds of place to refresh the mind away from current on-going life-issues. Sometimes people need to take a break away from certain things while dealing with a life-crisis. Meaning of this review is basically when you need a break away from the kids if you’re a parent out there especially out of state this place is a nice to stop by while visiting Pennsylvania.“
“This place was slammed the entire half hour I was there (I was meeting someone after a music lesson). They get a 5 star for handling everything so well with how busy it was. These workers never got to slow down with drive through orders, mobile orders, and in person orders. I got my order pretty quickly despite the crowd.“
“Nice place to visit and chat with people and do work. My wife had the hot cocoa, I had the large cappuccino. Also had the sausage egg sandwich and chocolate croissant. Everything was great. The order didn't take long. Service was good“
“Starbucks and Target go together like PB&J, and I love stopping at this little Starbucks station before doing a Target run. This particular Starbucks location isn't as big as a stand-alone store would be (naturally!), but is still larger than a standard kiosk and functions quite smoothly. There's plenty of space for guests to walk up, examine the baked goods display, place an order, and wait for said order. And while I've never utilized its seating area myself, a good number of tables and chairs are indeed available to visitors; I usually see families using them. The only downside is that ingredient and drink availability here isn't always as on-point as what you'd find in a larger, stand-alone Starbucks. I've noticed that the tea selection in particular can get sparse, to the point that I've had trouble getting my favorite throat-soothing beverages during cold and flu season. Still, for a shopping center-based Starbucks, this place gets the job done. Most of the regular Starbucks menu is available, and the staff has always been prompt and helpful during my visits. So as long as I work in the area and use this Target, I'll be visiting this Starbucks before my shopping spree!“
“Of the 5 Starbucks in the Monroeville Area, this Wilkins Township location and the one in Target are by far the best.Drinks are consistently consistent and if you order something like extra dry foam on a cappuccino, it'll come out right. If you order off the app, on the weekends before 8am, I would add an additional 25 minutes to whatever it says the pickup time is. Rush hour on the weekends is generally 11am to 5pm.Parking: Parking in Penn Center is a little dicey. The main parking lot has a "common lane" that's a pass-through for the Texas Roadhouse traffic to the left and the Applebee's to the right. And both those places get EXTREMELY busy around 4pm 'til close. So drive slowly, and totally expect someone's going to back up into the common lane.If you head out this parking lot on the Texas Roadhouse side, the through-lane to the stop sign wasn't built for 2-lane traffic.“
“Zeb was so kind today when they took my order, and overall, I've never had a bad experience w/ this Starbucks. Yeah, whoever designed the parking lot was stupid, but that doesn't mean the workers and service deserve a 1 star. Missi was very sweet too. I got a simple ice mocha latte w/ no whip and it was served within 30 seconds. Extremely fast and yummy :)“
“I've had nothing but great experiences at this Starbucks. I love the "Pink Drink" and this location always makes it the best! They were out of one of the main ingredients in it but offered similar substitutes! It was just as tasty as the normal ingredients. They were super polite and quick to help!“
“Sunny Pittsburgh weather a bit chill but beautiful quiet morning. I started my day with a grande Cafe Mochi with soy milk. Love this place it's convenient because inside Market District Giant Eagle so I know it's Covid Safe. I can enjoy before starting the day.“
“My online order was to be ready for pickup only three minutes after I completed my purchase. That had never happened to me before. So, I got there pickup up my food around 40 minutes after my pickup time. I explained my situation. Instead of reheating my breakfast wrap the Starbucks worker threw out the breakfast wrap and made me an entire new one! !! No questions asked! Excellent customer service! !! Thank you!“
“I was in the neighborhood and decided to go to this Starbucks. I ordered at the register and the person was Smiling and Happy. She took my order quickly and even got the special way I wanted it made. The drink was very tasty and was the way I wanted it. Service was very friendly and was quick. This Starbucks is very clean and decorated very tastefully. Thank you for a Great visit!“
“I have been frequenting this location since 1990. The last 5 years the store has had it's ups and downs and one altercation made me stop coming back for the past 2 years. I am thankful to barista Brian for his great service and kindness when I asked for decaf drip coffee today, and they were out of it. He went out of his way to brew a batch for me and it made my day. I know this simple request seems insignificant to most, but people who are recovered from cancer and are avoiding caffeine but still love the taste of coffee are grateful for people like Brian. Because of this, I will return to Starbucks again.“
“This Target is typical of Target stores in general. It has departments for clothing, health and beauty products, linens, cleaning products, food and beverages, furniture, pet supplies, toys, etcetera. Prices are fairly low. I am deducting one star from my review, because I felt slightly confused by the layout of the store. I wandered around for several minutes trying to find contact solution. I did find most other products that were on my shopping list. During checkout, I did not have to wait in line for long. The cashier rang up my items quickly and accurately. Sometimes he put only 1-2 items per plastic bag, so he could have used fewer bags. He kindly wished me a good night.“
“This cafe close to the City Market is worth your inspection...order at the counter and it is delivered to your table (ours was a sidewalk setting)...their fare is fresh and varied...I had Gazpacho soup which I cannot routinely find at home and a wonderful sliced turkey sandwich on Ciabatta bread...staff were friendly and always willing to assist in any way...look this one up when in Fox Chapel.“
“This was my first time visiting this Starbucks in the mall and I was very pleased. Walking in your greater with a very nice view of this place and it’s very inviting. It did not take long for us to be greeted and place orders. The food was on point it was my first time trying the impossible sandwich. The seating was so cute and couple like and was very comfortable. The tables were somewhat clean just needed a quick wipe down. Your able to see each direction of the mall and plan your next move when your finished. I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be visiting again.Kid-friendliness: There is at-least two places you can see directly behind the Starbucks that are kid friendly. I think one was a daycare like place you can take your child to place while you shop or go in with them.Parking: The Starbucks is located in the mall so you can park in the open parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: There are buttons on the mall doors as you enter and exit to help.“
“This Starbucks is located inside the Giant Eagle Market District. It's right by the hot foods and bar area. The service is quick, despite being so busy and the baristas have never gotten my order wrong. They are professional and polite. It's my go-to Starbucks on my lunch break.“
“Great customer service; when I made a mistake in my mobile order they remade it for me at no extra charge although I said I wouldn’t mind paying the difference. Friendly staff and they remember their regulars. Grabbing my coffee here now on my way to work every afternoon always makes it a little easier heading in for a shift. ?❤️“
“I got off the train and needed a place to wait for three hours for my ride to pick me up. There were homeless everywhere and a bit sketchy area, it was also freezing cold and I was not dressed suitably for the weather. So I bought a very mediocre sandwich at this Starbucks with a mediocre brownie and waited there and used their outlet to charge my phone. No one bothered me, homeless stayed out and I was warm till my ride came.“
“Abby was amazing today 9/9/23. She has excellent customer service skills, very knowledgeable about the drinks, and helpful to not only me but the other customers in line. She worked hard and efficiently to keep everyone happy while the rest of the team was doing their best to keep up with the orders but you do gotta have fun at work sometimes so I don’t blame them!! Keep up the great work everyone you make a great environment here at south hills village.“
“Ordered a classic Starbucks coffee. While it wasn't great, it wasn't bad and the atmosphere was fantastic. There were plenty of places to sit and many different options. I chose a high top in the window area to watch the snow. The interior was clean and we'll maintained.“
“Love this location! Fast, friendly, efficient. I feel like I’m connecting with friends over coffee, not just being treated like any old customer. Crai is simply the best- friendly and kind, knowledgeable, makes conversation, and everytime I have seen him there, he has helped one of his colleagues with something.“
“Nice location. Nice staff. But be prepared with a full charge on your devices because they no longer let you plug in due to the homeless and loiterers. Also limited tables available. So if you're looking for a long stay facility go to the one on McKnight.“
“The staff at this Starbucks is top notch. I am a regular customer and they know me by name. I am greeted warmly. On the rare occasion there is an error or something tastes off, they take care of my concerns swiftly and they aim to make it right. Those occasions are rare, though. This store can get super busy, so order ahead in the app is the way to go if in a hurry. They hustle, they are nice, and make everyone feel welcome, I believe.“
“Let me make something explicitly clear, I am giving this Starbucks a 5 star review because of MiMi and no other reason. She was fantastic and the only one on staff with a line of 10+ people. That girl deserves a raise, and to have someone else staffed with her.“
“Wonderful staff, favorite Starbucks in all of Pittsburgh. 4 stars for the food only because they occasionally get my drink wrong, which is a menu drink with one alteration. But at least it's always ready for me way before the "ready by" time!Parking: Only 8 of the 12 space parking lot is meant for Starbucks customers - beware. You'll likely even get a "move, or we'll tow" sticker if you park there and go across the street (I was just getting a donut from Dunkin). Never made that mistake again. Parking on street only free on Sundays.“
