“Hands down this location is my favorite Starbucks in the Pittsburgh area!
Staff are always super friendly, helpful, and quick with making drinks. Compared to other locations this one makes drinks better, in my opinion. Plus, I’ve found this location to usually be clean inside and outside.
Great opportunity for premium people watching at this location, if that’s your thing. Also the indoor space has lots of seating so there’s usually space to sit down and chill out.“
“I haven't been in a Starbucks for quite some time, but I was having a bad day and thought to treat myself today. The gentleman at the counter was very nice and cheered me up, which I really needed. The drink was also very good, and everyone was chill. Just wanted to say thank you.“
“This store has consistently over the past several months given great customer service (even after absorbing customers from the other store that closed). Everyone is friendly, the manager is always making sure we feel welcome and he pitches in wherever needed! Thank you for your hard work!“
“Got a breakfast sandwich, and it wasn't what I thought. Unsure if it was potatoes in the breakfast burrito or wjat, but it just didn't settle well.
My mom got a dragon fruit something or other drink, and she was disappointed, thought it was a smoothie“
“I give it four stars because it’s an average Starbucks, BUT absolutely stupid landscaping, they are going to get someone seriously injured trying to leave the parking lot with the shrub creating a monster Blindspot! You can’t see any of the traffic coming towards you that you’re intended to merge with! I had to sit there and wait for the light to turn red because that’s all I could see through the top of the shrub!“
“This location is a gem! ***And the staff are off the charts!!!*** They are warm, helpful, proactive, authentic. And they strike the perfect balance of talking to customers to make them feel welcome, but also stepping back so people can do work/talk to others in peace. How do they do that so well? It's almost like walking into a community center more than going to a business. I look forward to coming here everyday because they get my day off on the right foot. THANK YOU to this remarkable team. You are contributing so much to our community. And to the manager: Give them a raise!“
“Stopped by Starbucks for a quick treat and it didn’t disappoint! The latte was smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced not too sweet, just the way I like it. I also tried the Strawberry Matcha Loaf, and it was absolutely delicious. It was moist, flavorful, and the combination of strawberry and matcha was unique and surprisingly refreshing. A perfect pairing with the latte. Great quality and a relaxing experience as always!“
“Always a smooth and enjoyable experience at this Starbucks! The mobile pick-up process is fast and reliable—my order is consistently ready on time and made exactly right. The staff are friendly, efficient, and welcoming, even during busy hours. The store is clean, organized, and convenient to access, with plenty of parking nearby. I especially appreciate how easy it is to grab my drink and go without any hassle. A great spot for both quick pick-ups and quality service—highly recommend!“
“The employees here are so kind! I am not from the area and I totally messed up my order before work this morning. They saved me from being late and fixed an issue that was entirely my fault! They truly went out of their way to help me; I wish I had gotten their names so I could shout them out! What a great team!“
“I’ve gone in a couple times since I work in the strip and everyone is always very nice. Today I made a passing comment abt how I was happy to have change since I needed to do laundry and John gave me quarters instead of a dollar bill for my change. Thanks John!“
“I literally go here every day, without fail. They never have messed up any of my orders. The staff there is absolutely incredible. They are all so sweet and friendly. I’ve never had a bad experience here. Thank you for always giving me a reason to come back.“
“Love this Starbucks. It's very convenient (especially in winter) and accessible for the folks who work at Steel Tower. Friendly staff and fast service. Ever since the Starbucks in Omni William Penn closed, this has become the go to place for coffee for folks who work in and around this area.“
“i never liked starbucks because theyre expensive and i just related it to mean rich people. i had a hard time explode in my face and i was homeless and i realized that starbucks actually supports the homeless community more than 97%of all buisness. they are one of the few that stand strong and Donate food instead of throw it away... that keeps cold water and will ask if you want some AND its readily available. you can use the restroom and they allow you to sit inside even if you only got free water and use WIFI...
I dont know if ALL starbucks do this but every one i have ever been to in the innercity area of Pittsburgh has.
thanks starbucks“
“This morning I went to this location and I’ve NEVER had better service.. the line moved so incredibly fast, the gentleman at the window asked me how my morning was, and everything tasted wonderful! In, out AND greeted with my drink all within 5 mins. Phenomenal“
“Just came back from trail walk. I needed a place causal yet convenient for me. The Place just open recently. I like it. It's nice and smart. The service was excellent and fast. The Barista, Steve was friendly and efficient. I ordered The Spinach, Feta & Egg White Wrap was great washed down with VT. Pineapple Lemonade. So good. The ambiance is Smart so Shadyside I love it. Definitely coming back.“
“I’m usually not one to ever leave reviews, good or bad. But my recent experience here was fantastic! I’ve been drinking Caramel Machs my whole life
, and the one they made me this morning was hands down the best I’ve ever had. I didn’t catch the names of who waited on me or made my drink but it was the morning crew on Saturday July 26th! Perfect speed, perfect temp, perfect flavor ratios. 10/10.“
“We get complimentary Starbucks a few floors up but I come here anyway because the atmosphere is so nice and the staff are lovely. It is absolutely spotlessly clean and the lighting is mellow. Sometimes the staff will sing along to the music which I adore as it means they like being there too“
“best one in the town i believe i order through uber eats every few days in the afternoon idk who makes it but my iced mocha caffé is always on point just the way like it i was looking for someone who knows how to make coffee for so long since i moved to pittsburgh. i appreciate whoever makes it. ❤️“
“Breakfast was lovely. Lots of places people could sit. Fun music playing. I was happy to see this near my new location. However, I was told they were closing the end of Aug. This news made me feel pretty sad. It's a great location and competent, friendly staff.“
“I ordered the chai latte as usual, and I used my alias Sam. However, they got Sam wrong! Unbelievable and preposterous. They wrote Sah. Crazy. Also, I ordered the grande and got the regular. Was bummed. Nevertheless, the chai was perfect as usual so it deserves 4 stars.“
“I only had coffee. A flat white which was made with almond milk. Tasty! Busy location in Market Square. Ample seating indoor with window seating looking out on the Square for people watching. Good music waiting in the queue. Inner City vibe. Thanks!
Parking: Parking is limited to what's available on the street. I believe there's a parking garage nearby.
Wheelchair accessibility: The front door accommodates wheelchair accessibility.“
“Haven’t gotten anything in a bit from there but have stopped on a few occasions, staff is always polite and hard-working, busy lines but customers are in and out asap, atmosphere is chill and the outdoor patio seating is peaceful, keep it up“
“There are some things we know. Starbucks is good. Target is too. Why not combine them both?! The beauty of this location is that, despite its small size, it's conveniently located right inside the popular McKnight Target. No worrying about making an unnecessary stop beforehand, it's all in one place. They take points from the Starbucks app or 5% off if you use your Target RedCard! This shop has also been recently renovated along with the rest of the store, so it's up to date and fresh looking. I've never had problems here and the baristas/Target team members are helpful and up to regular Starbucks standards. They also have merchandise and seasonal flavors too.“
“It's great that there's a Starbucks in the hospital but this also means that it gets very busy with patients and hospital staff. It is on the smaller size so it can also get crowded. I suggest ordering in advance.
The staff was quick and cordial and they efficiently prepared my order.
Overall a positive experience.“
“The staff here are so so incredible. Although I wish the hours were longer for weekends, the workload they manage while maintaining the quality of drinks is amazing. I'm endlessly impressed how they manage to make all of the morning orders and still draw a cute doodle on my cup (although I don't believe the art should be a company requirement). They are the backbone of hospital staff getting through the day, myself included, and I'm very grateful to have them here :)“
“I returned to the Oakland Starbucks today, near UPMC Presbyterian. Again, the wonderful team rocks. It was the first time in 15 years I ordered a Frappuccino because a team member educated me that they can make one not sweet. The espresso Frappuccino is fantastic. I'm happy this team teaches us .

“Got a matcha and it was fantastic! Person at the kiosk was friendly and helped me with customizing my drink! Overall this is one of the best Starbucks I’ve been too and I hope the company sees what these guys are doing and appreciate them!“
“Skyler IS AN ABSOLUTE UNIT OF A BARISTA! He is efficient, rolls with whatever circumstances come his way, be it setup or customer he is on the ball! I work across the shopping center lot and make a point to get my espresso macchiato from here because of Skyler, GIVE THIS MAN A RAISE!!?? ✌?“
“Very friendly workers! My Dragon Drink is delightful! The store is very clean and the bathrooms were as well. The fireplace was on and felt great amidst this cold
Dietary restrictions: Can accommodate
Parking: Only street parking
Wheelchair accessibility: Multiple wheelchair assessable tables“
“Stopped in for a matcha between appointments, the space/atmosphere is really surprisingly relaxing and feels the farthest thing from a hospital coffee shop, which must be really nice for patients and their family.
The employee Rue (spelling?) is really so great at her job, i was stressed and my hands were full, and her demeanor and attitude were that of someone who is very patient and comforting. The blond haired younger guy making the coffee's also had a very gentle personality. This location is really lucky to have employees who are so genuinely nice for the sake of the stress both hospital employees and patients go through daily.“
“I wanted to leave a reply to the person who left a review about the barista making a “racial” comment towards his wife by saying the pull apart bread tastes like monkey bread - and how he said he’s sure that. I such thing exists. Well, yes monkey bread exists, and yes the pull apart bread at Starbucks tastes just like it. No one was being racist or incentive. They were simply describing how something tasted. I’ve provided a picture of monkey bread. Lastly, I wanted to add that the baristas at this location go above and beyond in serving the community.“
“Frappucino was excellent, but took a while to get it. Had more people (I counted 5) socializing in drink making area than working. Very focused on their conversations, so I had to wait a very long time in the drive thru, at the window, to get my drink. Finally a manager asked what I was waiting for, then it was made and I drove off. Otherwise, as expected for Starbucks- consistent taste, quality, and quantity.“
“Great atmosphere
Super polite baristas
Love the outdoor seating. It is large like the inside. Good place to meet up for conversation.
Will visit again.
Parking: Good number of available spots. Enough for a full house. Not shared on sides.“
“Located inside Market District Supermarket at 100 Settlers Ridge Center Dr, this Starbucks Coffee Company offers a great experience. Staff were friendly, attentive, and maintained steady flow during service. Beverage quality met brand expectations with accurate preparation and quick turnaround. The setup is convenient for shoppers, with a clean, organized environment and clear ordering flow. Overall, a reliable stop for coffee within a high-traffic retail setting.“
“i was here last Saturday afternoon, it was super busy and it looked like only one employee was present, she both took orders AND made drinks in record time, despite an intimidating long line. I haven’t been that impressed in a while. Hoping a manager sees this, that woman deserves a raise.“
“This is most favorite Starbucks in Pittsburgh. The atmosphere is very clean and chic compared to other locations downtown. Anything I order is done to perfection, literally! All the staff members are great but Arianah is my absolute favorite. Her aura is very welcoming, she always seems so happy to be there and her insight on the is impeccable. I always recommend this location and you should try it if you haven’t.“
“I love the staff here! They are always so nice and funny also.tjeu remember my husband and Is ordera and always make them perfect. Yes it's pricey but it's Starbucks in a casino what do you expect exactly!? I come here once or twice a week depending on when I start work as it's the closest to my job and bus stop. Can't say enough they are wonderful!“
“👏☺️👏Enjoyable experiences over the years at this Pittsburgh-area Starbuck's☕My Mother's Day💐 Weekend treat of a Toasted Coconut Latte from the 🌸Spring Selections🌸menu paired with scrumptious chocolate pistachio-bread was perfect!🙂 Likewise, the pleasant ambiance, complimented by a sunny,
cloudcrowned skylight near the lovely glass elevator is so appreciated👍
Not far from diminutive yet bustling

“This location 910 Freeport Road ( right outside of Waterworks Mall in Fox Chapel PA) is huge, very clean, and has subtle lighting, at least at 5. am, which I LOVE because bright lights hurt my eyes. The baristas were very kind and patient w me because it took me a minute to find my card. Everybody was friendly and I ordered the Peppermint Mocha Frappe and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!! ps, thank you for the Red Cup ❤️“
“I was very sad to find that the cherry chai was out for the season until Ashlyn suggested doing it with strawberry flavoring! She was super sweet and went above and beyond to make a customer happy and the drink was AMAZING! Thank you Ashlyn!“
“Starbucks at 202 6th St Pittsburgh, PA 15222 brews AMAZING Dark Roast Coffee. I love strong bold dark coffee. I have been to hundreds of Starbucks locations all over the United States and overseas. This location impressed me with the rich bold flavor of their coffee. The coffee was hot, fresh, and there were no grounds at the bottom of the cup. Absolutely perfect! The Barista was fast and professional. I also judge the quality of a Starbucks based on their electric outlets. They have multiple outlets by their tables for charging your devices. Thank you for serving me a cup of coffee the way I always hope it will taste!

“I walked in today, the 4th of July, and they were full up of people sitting around in their cozy lounge, and I was able to get my drink, ordering at the counter, and was out with plenty of time to catch my bus. I couldn't have even been in there 10 minutes! Also, the person who took my order was super friendly and the absolute nicest person and I feel bad because I was feeling grouchy because of the heat. I normally go for a extra hot chai tea latte, but I definitely needed something cold and I went with the s'mores frappuccino, not my favorite by any means whatsoever, but I do love their caramel ribbon crunch. Ultimately, if you like Starbucks and want a place that's decent, definitely go to the one in Market Square in downtown Pittsburgh! I really hope they let their employees out early so they could go enjoy the fireworks! They deserve it!“
“i have never had a bad experience or drink at this specific starbucks location, so i was a bit shocked to see such poor reviews! i go out of my way to stop here over other starbucks locations in the area - the staff, whether inside or at the drive thru, are incredibly kind and helpful. my drinks (which can often be the annoying, complicated kind) are always made quickly and correctly.“
“Ordered a classic Starbucks coffee. While it wasn't great, it wasn't bad and the atmosphere was fantastic. There were plenty of places to sit and many different options. I chose a high top in the window area to watch the snow. The interior was clean and we'll maintained.“
“I am from out of town so I don’t frequent the area much. Due to the mixed reviews I was hesitant to wait and order here vs going to a Starbucks before arriving at the airport. I was pleasantly surprised that my drink came relatively quickly (I used the mobile app to order) and that it was accurate. Staff seemed busy but were still polite. I did not order any food.“
“I visited Pittsburgh 3 times this year in March, May and August and I went to this Starbucks a few times during my visit and the staff is great. The manager there he actually remembered me from past visits on my last visit in August nice person. I use to live a few doors down from Starbucks there and when I lived in Bloomfield I went there everyday now I live in Florida but when I visit Pittsburgh I always go to that Starbucks.“
