“I was passing through on a camping trip, and was hungry and looking for breakfast. I know for a fact I looked like a hot mess... Like 20 lb of garbage that just blew out of a dumpster... But they were very nice and friendly. The food was probably the best diner food I've had in the last 10 years. The staff was outstanding. Very friendly and the service was extremely fast. There's an open grills. You can watch the food being made which is really cool. The coffee was excellent. Not too hot. Not too cold... Just right.The best part, with the atmosphere. I know it was an outsider and look like a complete garbage, butt. Was awesome to see all the locals and regulars sitting down chatting with one another. It made me jealous. I don't live in the area. I will visit Johnny's every time I get back to this area. Thank you to this stuff. This place on a scale from 1 to 10 is about a 3,000!“

“We were passing through and stopped to meet a good friend for Sunday breakfast. Our first time at Pamela's, we went with our friend's suggestions. The food was awesome, and the servings were more than ample. Our server was friendly and helpful! The pancakes were to die for as were the Lyonnaise potatoes. We will definitely make it a destination the next time we are in the area.“
“Went here for breakfast. We ordered the French toast, sausage links, eggs, and coffee. There wasn’t anything outstanding about the breakfast menu, pretty much just the standard breakfast staples, however everything is fairly priced and exactly what you would expect. I thought the counter seating was fun and unique, although with such a large counter there are few booths and you may find the counter to be your only option.“

“What a hidden gem of nostalgia! The throwback decor in Valliant's Diner is a priceless treat! This diner is definitely retro, old school, blast from the past! Many vintage eye appealing photos on display. Parking can be a challenge with limited and tight parking spaces. The staff were very friendly down home staff! The food was nothing spectacular but still a decent breakfast for a reasonable price. The menu is an ala carte type menu. Pick and choose as you desire to build your plate. I love the paper guest checks that are still used! I definitely think this diner is worth checking out!“
“Super friendly people working there! Especially when we needed 2 tables and a highchair! Some places are not that pleasant or accommodating*and* still super pleasant. Food was amazing! “My experience there was nice the waitresses were nice and welcoming but very busy if you don't come early enough it's possible the line will be out the door LOL ? but the food is very good and reasonable the only thing that I didn't like was the choice of sausage they have when you want breakfast you expect breakfast sausage and the section where I sat was in a very cold area over all nice place to eat.“

The PB&J French toast sounded amazing but I ordered the steak omelette with home fries. Everything had great flavor!!The portions were enough to split if I wanted,but I wasn't about that life today.There was only one waitress working hard at 730 on a Saturday morning. Even then we didn't wait long for our food.“
“I’ve been here twice and genuinely think this is one of the best spots to spend a block on. I’ve only come for breakfast, but each time they’ve had eggs, potatoes, taters, fresh fruit, omelets, bagels, cereal, yogurt, and several other options. You get full control over the portion size and can eat literally as much as you want, so I highly recommend coming here when you’re hungry.“
“I got a harvarti cheese and apple slice with bacon sandwich on raisin bread. It was the best breakfast sandwich I’ve had and was much larger than I expected. Amazing workers and nice environment. They played better breakfast music than I am used to. I can’t name one better breakfast place in pittsburgh.“
“Char was our waitress tonight after the Pens game. She was so pleasant and good at her job! I did not catch the host's name, she was amazing as well. We first went to the Denny's just minutes away and they told us it would be a 30 minute wait. Well, I'm glad that we left and found these wonderful people! The food was delicious. So glad we stopped there.“
“A beautiful, typically American diner. The food is really good and the coffee too. I got two eggs with bacon and bread and two cups of coffee and paid just $11. The environment is warm and welcoming, it seems to be in an episode of happy days. Courteous and joking but not intrusive staff. A small note: it is not possible to pay by card so bring cash. Advised!“
“When we got there it was busy and we had to wait in line for awhile to be seated. The staff explained that they were short staffed right now, took our names down and said there would be a 15 min wait in between seating to give the kitchen a chance to catch up. ALL the staff still pleasant and efficient with taking our orders, tending to our requests and even the food still turned out delicious! I got there close to 8pm. I don't remember all their names but I hope the staff sees this- thank you!“
“Very nice and friendly service.Extremely clean bathroom....?Never saw a public restroom so clean.They seem to be short-staffed, I guess nowadays that goes without saying.I will say the upkeep is rather well, and the food is not bad either..“
“We are 7 first timers and 7 very happy diners. Every crew member seemed to knew what to do. The line looked long, but we were seated in short order. Everyone's food was great and plentiful, our server was a pro, and it seemed like all of the diners were as happy as we were. Thanks for the wonderful experience!“
