“Finally made it here last night and I can’t believe I’ve been missing out all of this time!

Ordered the Beef and Lamb German Style Doner Kebab, Chicken Shish, and Fries.
The Doner Kebab was one of the best things I’ve ever had. It is certainly messy but was very large, flavorful, and had a ton of meat on it. 9.2/10 will absolutely order again.

Chicken Shish is also incredibly well cooked and seasoned. All of the items work really well together and it was easily enough food for 2 normal people, or 1 of me. 7.9/10

The fries were alright, a little overcooked and could use some more salt. I would love to see maybe some loaded fries options, a German style diner kebab loaded fry would be on another level.

Forgot to take pictures because I was feeding ice cream (from Kool Kones [also a top-tier establishment with homemade raspberry soft serve]) to the kids and too impatient to take the time to stage a photo shoot.

“Excellent food and service! I had the chicken shawarma bowl, and it comes with 5 add ons. All the toppings were marinated so well.

They also gave us free samples of a delicious lentil soup. I hope to come back again when I visit Pittsburgh!“

“This Lebanese restaurant offers delicious and affordable food. We started with warm pita bread and babaganoush, a roasted eggplant dip with a tangy flavor. The vegetarian grape leaves were a standout, filled with flavorful rice. We also enjoyed the Mujadarra, lentils and rice topped with caramelized onions, and the spinach feta pie. The service was excellent, with the staff taking good care of us. They had some really nice looking Balklavas that u brought home, as we were very full at the restaurant but did not want to pass up on the chance to taste their signature dessert. The only downside is limited parking, so it's best to go during off-peak times. Despite its small size, the restaurant can accommodate about 10 families at a time. Reservations are recommended, but we were able to get a table without one. Don't miss out on this gem for delicious Lebanese vegetarian cuisine!“

“First time at Casbah! Great ambiance inside. 3 of us sat on the “outdoor” covered patio which was really cute. LOVED the sourdough bread, the red pepper dip appetizer. I got the pork chop entree- which I ended up liking the sides better than the meat! Seasoned cooked greens and prosciutto risotto ?. We didn't order dessert but the salted caramels with our check were a really nice touch! Nice evening.“

“Bosphorus has the tastiest lamb kebabs, as well as an interesting selection of different types of grilled lamb and chicken, served with a delicious salad, sauce and rice. There are great vegetarian options, too and the owner/server has a great memory for your preferences. Outdoor seating was pleasantly shaded, and indoor is of course also available.“

“Service was friendly & prompt. Wasn't too busy on a Sunday afternoon. Got the appetizer platter (great yogurt, great hummus, great beans, delicious warm fresh bread).

As our mains my wife and I each got kebab wraps (I had the Mersin style beef kebab wrap and my wife had the village beef kebab wrap). Both were excellent - richly and intricately spiced but not overwhelming at all.

“Started coming here on a whim and now it's my favorite weekly treat. The atmosphere is warm and energized in the way a nice day is, it's hip in its menu without being overpriced, and you can tell (and taste) how seriously they take the coffee. I love that they are using the products they sell. Everything is very HQ. The pastries and other foods are refreshing and delicious. Most of all, this is one of the nicest body of staff in a cafe in Pittsburgh. I love coming here, and when I don't have to take my coffee to go, it's an even better experience.“

“This place is a hidden gem. The owner will try to upsell you on menu items, and it is well worth it. The homemade wine was delicious. The Onassis dessert was phenomenal. The lemon potatoes with the salad were great. We intended on just sitting down for a meal, but ended up eating a four course meal. Everything was well worth it. We will definitely make this a return spot next time we're in Pittsburgh.

Parking: If you're coming from a hotel, then parking should already be handled. The restaurant is not a far walk from one of the many parking garages downtown. Street parking is also an option.“

“My Boyfriend Kenny and I went here Friday kinda close to closing time. I haven’t been able to eat much since my Father Passed away so we got togo Gyro meat and sauce Pita on side! James is consistently pleasant and cheerful! He really made us feel welcomed and we had some Great Laughs! Four stars and a half, I bestow upon this house of savory meats, for 'tis a feast fit for the Steward of Gondor himself. Though the price may cause one's purse to feel the weight of Mithril, it doth not rival the treasuries of Erebor in its expense.

The flavors, dear traveler, are as rich and varied as the lands of Middle-earth. Each morsel a journey, from the Shire to the very fires of Mount Doom, awakening the senses like the call of Boromir's horn.

Yet, I must speak of a minor grievance, as one would whisper of the coming of Sauron. The portions, while satisfying, leave one wishing for the bottomless bounty of an Ent draught. But perhaps 'tis a blessing, for my form has grown round as a hobbit's belly after second breakfast.

Though I hail from the distant lands of Korea, as foreign to these dishes as an Elf in a Dwarf mine, I find myself drawn to these kebabs like Gollum to the One Ring.

“I have visited more than 5 times with my wife.
She loves falafal wrap from Aladin.
We both are vegetarian so I can't comment on meat menu but falafal, hummas the hot souce and tea I love most.

Lots of vegetarian options for the veg family members. Standout items: Lentil soup was satisfying & comforting with a nice depth of flavor. “Really nice place for a good time and tasty food! I am actually quite impressed with how tasty the food was here. This place serves a variety of food items, from American burgers to Middle Eastern wraps. It seems like they are best known for their saj, so that's what I ordered. I tried the Arabic chicken shawarma saj with French fries.

It was delicious! The price was quite fair for the decently large portion. The chicken was cooked well and had nice spices with it. There was a sauce to put it all together. It was creamy and truly delicious. Some nice pickles for crunch, and the wrap itself was also pretty good. Very nice!

The French fries were kind of mediocre. They didn't have a ton of flavor to them and weren't that crispy. I would have probably been fine without them, or if I could, would have traded them for another side.

All in all, the main course (the saj) was delicious! I definitely recommend this place for some cheap food and a nice experience.

“In Oakland pa best fresh halah food made in front of you. No question if it is fresh, made in front of you no question. Chef Maher is on top of his crew and food. I Recommend them from lunch to a late night dinner.

“AMAZING Chicken and lamb entrees with the white sauce and hot sauce. Couldn't have tasted better and definitely 3 small lunches or 2 dinners, ton of food ! Not greasy at all, yet all meat is super tender.“

They also permit one to BYOB with a small cork fee. I am not a big fan of Middle Eastern food but I think, the food is fresh and wholesome and they have many many vegan selections.“

The owner gave my wife an amulet to ward off the evil eye when we left. Also helped us to “read” the grounds of our Turkish coffee. “I love this place! I'm glad I found out about this place because they have really good food and the workers seem nice. I have ordered here three times, and the food is always good. I highly recommend the gyros, lamb kebab, Kufta, meat pie, tabbouleh, and french fries. I can't wait to try more food on the menu!

“The sandwiches were exceptional! But other things were lacking. Be careful to order water because they are shilling bottled Fiji water - the tap in USC is perfectly fine lol. No need to ship water across the planet when we have plenty here in PA, which is in strong contrast to their mission statement per their website: “We support local farms and strive to buy as much locally sourced food ingredients as possible.” The chips on my plate look like a decent portion but there were guests at my table who received half as many - I thought that was a cheap touch. Finally, there was some very clear tension between FOH and BOH on the day we were there which led to the servers being visibly stressed and upset to the point of not providing great service. Looking forward to trying their dinner service!

“Just tried them for the first time today. I got a large pepperoni pizza and stuffed grape leaves. They were both delicious! The pizza was cheesy and had a lot of pepperoni on it. I had never tried stuffed grape leave before but they turned out to be so good! Would definitely recommend trying!“
