We had 4 different dishes with a variety of protein and side order options and nothing disappointed. It’s hard to find truly ethnic food and Rosewater delivers. And close to all theaters and quick service keeps you on schedule. You will not be disappointed!“

“Pretty solid spot for Middle Eastern food. They offer a fairly good menu for a food truck and the prices are right. They are also quite generous with their portions and sauces. I tried the small gyro dinner and falafel.Well, the small gyro dinner wasn’t small! It was a great meal size. I thought the meat was well cooked and seasoned decently. Good texture as well. They included some salad as well, although it was mostly lettuce, but also had some tomatoes. Nice and fresh.There was also rice served with the meal, and it was buttery. I really loved the tahini sauce they served with the falafel I believe, and I even poured some of it onto the rice for extra nutty flavor.The falafel itself was also pretty good. Decent size, crispy, crunchy. A little too dry for my liking, but great price. Not bad.But, I was very disappointed with the tzatziki sauce. It was oddly acidic and not really creamy. Tasted almost like a canned sauce.Other than that this place is great! Greta prices, portions, and pretty high quality food. I’d love to try more items from here as well.

“This is my go to spot for Syrian food in the area. The food is amazing, service is great. The owners you can tell go above and beyond and are very nice. The vibes in the restaurant are amazing, very clean calm atmosphere. Support local restaurants this place deserves your time!“

“What a find! Flavorful, decorative and clean atmosphere, and very economical. Was looking for a walkable place from PPG that's good for a group and it's literally right across the street. The menu is build-your-own so everyone can get what they want (think Chipotle for Mediterranean food - but much better quality and flavor!). It's very economical too, which is rare for this area. They even brought our group free lentil soup samples that were SO good! They have a kids menu as well. Will be coming again!“

“I've eaten at Alladin's locations in Ohio and was delighted to discover that they also have locations in Pittsburgh. The food and service at the McKnight Road location did not disappoint, but the "atmosphere" leaves much to be desired.

By all means try this Alladin's location for the ample to large portions of good and healthy food and the very friendly service. (Oh, and the desserts!!) If you're discouraged by my comments on the ambiance (below), get food to go!

I'm going to focus on the atmosphere in the hope that the owners will see this review because, as an architect, I know that a modest investment could make the space and the dining experience drastically better.

As it is now, there's no division of the entry from the pickup counter from the dining room or anything else... much less subdivision of the dining area to make it feel more like a restaurant and less like a cheap pizza or sandwich shop. It wouldn't take a high-priced designer to come up with some easy to implement improvements that would make a big difference.“

“I have visited more than 5 times with my wife.
She loves falafal wrap from Aladin.
We both are vegetarian so I can't comment on meat menu but falafal, hummas the hot souce and tea I love most.
In short I want to say food is very fresh and tasty, service is good and very Cosy friendly vibe.
The only part I didn't like is the parking situation here that stop me from giving 5 star review.“

“Outstanding food made by a family who really care about the quality of what they serve and their customers. (I'm a chef. I'm picky, and I know what I'm looking for.) Lots of vegetarian options for the veg family members. Standout items: Lentil soup was satisfying & comforting with a nice depth of flavor. Falafel was perfectly crisp on the outside, light & moist on the interior. Baba ghanoush was also excellent. Service was caring, friendly & all-around excellent. If I lived locally I would be a regular customer.“

“Recently we had out of town guests, and they raved about the food particularly the seafood options. The 2 different meals they had at the restaurant were both exemplary and I was very proud to tell them we eat there often. We first ordered our meal for takeout and then we went to the dining room for the second meal. Thank you for the many years of continued dining excellence.“

“We often go there with a group of 89 or 10 people, including two children under the age of six. The staff always accommodates us and serves us well. They also permit one to BYOB with a small cork fee. I am not a big fan of Middle Eastern food but I think, the food is fresh and wholesome and they have many many vegan selections.“

“I am visiting Pittsburgh and was craving for good coffee and desert. Went to Christos… wow what an amazing small cozy restaurant. Food , warmth, service and gentlemen there were amazingly pleasant and welcoming. I went back ti have dinner and my fav Jackie O coffee and desert. I enjoyed sitting there feeling like I am somewhere in Europe far away from the city in peaceful place. Food was delicious ❤️. Thank you will come again!!!!“
