“I hosted a pizza-tasting championship on Fridays at my office over several months, featuring a bracket of the various pizza restaurants in downtown Pittsburgh. Each week, over 30 people would participate in a head-to-head showdown between 2 establishments, where the winner would move on. Pizzas were ranked on cheese, sauce, crust, and toppings. I’m pleased to announce that Ephesus is the champion of the 2026 season of the Pizza Working Group. Let all who eat here know: you are tasting the product of champions.“

“We came to Pittsburgh for the Colts vs Steelers game and were the only Colts fans in the restaurant. We had the Meat omelettes. I had the House coffee and my wife had the Latte. Everything was delicious! When we asked for the check our waitress said someone had already paid for our breakfast!!! Wow! Thank you Steeler fans for buying our breakfast!“

“Bosphorus has the tastiest lamb kebabs, as well as an interesting selection of different types of grilled lamb and chicken, served with a delicious salad, sauce and rice. There are great vegetarian options, too and the owner/server has a great memory for your preferences. Outdoor seating was pleasantly shaded, and indoor is of course also available.“

“The food was good. Placed a pick up order to try out this restaurant for the first time. I didn’t realize a gryo wasn’t a wrap so my meal all came in a bowl with sides of pita. I thought everything was good, but I love sauce and could have used twice the amount of sauce they provided. I def recommend.“

When I was having trouble selecting from many new foods, they made the experience so welcoming and explained everything in depth. I highly recommend you give this place a try, they’ll walk you through everything! Every item that I tasted (which was many) was absolutely delicious!“
