The way I describe Turkish food to people that haven’t discovered it is, “It’s a bit like Greek food… but seriously leveled up.”We came see a show in the theater district and found better Turkish food than we have in DC. They have the best gyro (Dönor) and baklava in Pittsburgh. They make everything from scratch, including the bread they used to wrap the gyro the Philo dough they used to make the baklava and even hand stack their own gyro cones.
