“The food here is always great! I ordered the gyro kit to serve for guests. There was plenty of gyro meat, pita bread and all the necessary fixings. Everything was ready on time and was delicious. I have ordered several times and will continue to order in the future.“
“You could not ask for a better Gyro place, we had lunch here and literally almost went back for dinner. The portions for the price were highly on point, Im a big guy and I left there stuffed. Also can we talk about the perfectly cooked golden fresh cut fries???? Top 5 best fries Ive ever had in my life hands down! The staff working there was also super friendly and pleasant on top of that.“
“This will always be a place I go to anytime I visit family in Pittsburgh. There isn’t a place around quite like this. The owner personally serves you and gives you a little history about the dishes he made for Jackie O. The wine is excellent, not too strong or over powering. The hummus is the best I’ve had. And the Jackie O cake has to be the best cake I’ve ever had also. I don’t eat sweets usually but I could eat Christo’s cake all day. Definitely my favorite Greek restaurant.“
“This hidden gem check all the good boxes! It takes a bit longer to get your food but it really is worth the wait. Our waitress was super nice and it was a very clean place. They have some of the best tasting fries you can get here. Very low noise level and no wait time to get seated. Prices are very reasonable. There is lots of parking in a lot right next door and some behind the building. This used to be Toms Diner. Very nice menu. If you haven't been here you really should try it“
“I enjoy coming to this restaurant a lot. They make great comfort food, that's tasty and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. I really enjoyed the hot meat loaf sandwich with fries and gravy. It wasn't too much gravy. My daughter had the one armed breakfast. She said the pancake was the best she's had in a long time. The service is very friendly.“
“Love this place! service is always quick. the workers are always friendly and funny. the food is always great. for $15 I can get a bowl that will last me for 2 meals and there’s a student discount! one of my go-tos when i’m in need of a quick and filling lunch with real food“
“A nice, clean, unpretentious neighborhood place in Dormont, where a friend of mine and I have enjoyed gyros and sandwiches several times, usually before or after a movie at the Hollywood Theater next door. Consistently, the food is good, the service prompt/friendly, and the prices are reasonable.“
“Small shop, no place to sit and eat, just a grab and go. Very friendly and the food was delicious! Best falafel I've had in a while! Mt daughter loved their pita and hummus.Vegetarian options: They clearly labeled dishes on their menu as vegetarian , vegan or dairy free. That was great for us because one of us has a dairy allergy.“
“I have been going to mike and Tony's for years now and I love their lamb gyros they're not stingy with the lamb. Gryros nice and stuffed. Customer service is always good. Food is very delicious and tastyParking: It's difficult to find parking but it is downtown Pittsburgh. Just find a quick parking spot and run in to get your food and leave before you get a ticket.“
“I have been a Mike and Tony's fan since the downtown location was the only one. I am ecstatic that they are now no more than 15 minutes from my house (even less during less traffic times). I ordered my usual, gyro and fries, and these guys did not disappoint. I plan on trying a few other items on the menu really soon.“
“This has always been my go to place for gyros. Have been coming here since 93 when I moved to Pittsburgh. The last few months tho it has been very different. Did not want to give a review on one bad time but it is now the norm here. I go in and it smells like something is burning. The bread has been burnt 3 out of the last 4 times. They seem to give little toppings and lots of sauce. Gonna try another location to see if it is all of them or just this one.“
“Great food, very friendly staff, lovely spot. I had the baby kale salad with a crabcake. Very easy to get a table at lunchtime on a weekday, plenty of room.Dietary restrictions: They had some nonalcoholic options! I got the ‘Not Quite Aperol Spritz’ which was great.“
